Ace touched his chin for what Jason said, "Adults....passports..." he mused some more. "What's regarded as adult in halloween world? It's 17 or 18 for humans, do they use age as the criterion as well?" The concept of passport was similar to their world, but he wondered what it meant to be adults in another world. "Bigger battle...." he mumbled. "The outbreak was chaotic enough, in my opinion and you saw battles more than that? Like the fight against big heads like Medea and Merlin?"

The only response Jason got from Zanth was laugher, so he could only shrug on this one. "I don't know, but then I know some creature have longer life spans then we do, so I would imagine it would be hard to tell that sort of thing." It also made wonder as to how old Zanth really was.
...On second thought.
"Yes...yes I have" Jason responded. "Both Merlin and Medea were gigantic battles, however I find Medea was a little more...troublesome. Considering Caelius was fighting her at some point." And if you were caught anywhere near those two, you were pretty much screwed.

Ace shrugged back, "Yup, it's hard to tell from appearance. For example, the elf in game, they can live hundreds of year and they still look like young teens." He frowned lightly, but not really bothered by it. "We can go there before we're adults and not needing passports. Yet, our moving area is confined to the school and its surrounding only compared to the whole human world. In contrast, everyone in halloween world can see us if we're not in golems but not much can see creatures in human world." He mused audibly. He swung his head towards Jason's side, "Caelius versus Medea? Damn, I missed a great fight, who won, Jason?" Medea, the fatal flower horseman lady, he bet she's charming. "Where was the fight take place?"

"It's a interesting situation to be sure." Jason responded to Ace's verbal thoughts. "Only certain humans can sense halloween, but once we become hunters we can see them clear as day. Oh, and just to mention." Jason recalled something important. "Humans explode when they enter halloween due to all the FEAR, but hunters can last a little longer. Some longer then others." Apparently moon hunters could, but he wasn't about to test that theory. As for who won the fight? "I think Medea won that one. But I don't think there were many casualties, so thats the main thing." He sighed. "The fight took place on a really tall tower, I think it's the horsemen's new base now."

"In what extent?" Ace asked again. "Like most can't see at all, some can perceive vague shadowy silhouette, a few can view a blurred image while we can look at them in crystal-clear vision? What do you think causing the difference? The consciousness of their existence or the bond?" He could remember the creatures' shapes were blurred before they recruited him then after bonding the vision turned clear when he saw Thezil. It must be the most startled look the trainee had ever made. "Ex-Explode? Human bomb? Seriously Jason? What the ******** is that?" Ace's eyebrows furrowed, couldn't figure out why he was safe when he was in Haunted House. "How about the patrol? Why we can stay there?" He was unable to get the answer by himself. The result of the battle was surely surprising, but something else caught his attention. "New base? Where were they before then? It's rather unsettling hearing our side lost."

"I think...it's to do with how much exposure to FEAR a person has." Jason mused. "So, the more you saw shadows, the clearer they'd become?" Even he wasn't completely sure. He did have a better idea about the next part though. "It would be the bond, I'm pretty sure." Jason grimaced at the look Ace gave him. "P-pretty much. Human bomb..normal humans just can't handle the FEAR. As for the haunted house, there isn't as much FEAR in there. He then answered Ace's next question. "They used to live in their own..dimension plane sort of thing, before it got..blown up. They then moved into halloween town."

"Hmm, nothing to do with our genes?" The man pondered. "Have you thought about why it is us having this potential or was it all humans could see creatures but they lost the ability with time? Why did they lose it?" His verbal thinking process was somehow a habit he developed during his alone time, he had a lot of time staying by himself in the past, he asked and answered questions all by himself. Usually, it was the first question that he really wanted an answer for, the rest were just elaborations from it. "Really? That house is like alive itself. It played a ********' prank on me last time and every room of it seems different, even you remember the location, it no longer look the same. That's really enthralling....." He made a wicked smile. "How about that school nearby? Amityville isn't that its name?" Ace was listening but he couldn't help to interrupt Jason, "Blown up? Who dare to blow it up? Those are some brace warriors." The Sun trainee wondered if that group of unknown would come to their island and blow it up, it might be a trouble for him, he didn't enjoy to be homeless to be honest.

"W-well...m-maybe?" Jason frowned, unable to fully answer all of Ace's questions. Maybe he should go and ask a few people himself. "There could be a lot of reasons for that...t-that I don't really know myself, sorry." "Y-yeah..I think the house is alive, or sentient at the very least...T-the school? I don't think it's alive..." The hunter scratched his head. "But yeah, it does like to play tricks." With Ace's next question, he just shrugged. "I don't know the full details, e-even if I was there at the time." He gave a awkward smile. Had he neglected to mention that little bit of info? "I spent most of the time fighting students and horsemen, then everything just blue up" He said before Ace could ask what happened. "But yeah, the people who did the blowing up would of have to have been brave. Very brave."

"Ah. Don't worry about it." He waved a hand. "Do you want to know the answer though, if I find out about it?" He'd asked in advance because he treated Jason as a good friend and he considered the chance he wanted to know it as well. The Sun trainee nodded, didn't bother to ask processes in details. "Oh students too, that's a messy party on the horseman's island. You went there due to a mission call?" He gave the hunter a quick glance, thinking about the possibility the hunters was the mastermind behind that. "Nah Jason, my question was: Does Amityville rich in fear and can we go there without golem. Anyway, that house is an evil pixie. I had been to a room that had balls and confetti dropped from above, how about you?" He'd like to know more about different rooms in the Haunted House, it felt like a living maze, fun and dangerous in the view it might lead a horseman or hostile student to them.

"Y-yeah, that would be great, thanks." It was always good to know about things. "Most hunters were called away on that mission." Jason said with a nod. "And I think the students got caught up in the mess as well." He then paused in thought as Ace asked him something else. "Y-you can...though hunters cannot last long in halloween, trainees even less so." He gave Ace a concerned look as if to say. 'Don't even think about it Ace.' "T-thats...weird." He wasn't sure what else to say"...I know one time, I heard thunder and lighting outside." He didn't like it at all. "A-apart from that, I've only seen different, strange rooms that are like in a old manor house."

Nodding at the thank you, shortly Ace had to put two hands in front of himself because of Jason's look. "Alright, alright Jason, don't look at me like that. I won't, okay? I won't." His eyes then shifted sideways for one to two seconds and flashed back for a smile. "So the school is indeed in richer fear than the house....." He mused. "If a hunter had to meet up with a creature without a golem, it'd better be in Haunted House, is that what you meant? <... I guess it's not what the boil meant ♡> "Can we say it's like a lucky draw then? Jason, do you know the Gatcha machine?" After he asked it, he tilted his head, not sure for the correct pronunciation of the word. poke mattix He's gonna explain it if Jason said he don't know biggrin

"Good." Jason didn't want to spoil Ace's fun, but he couldn't help but feel like a old brother, watching out for the trainee until he was strong enough to be able to do such a thing. "I don't believe we're allowed to go into halloween without a golem anyway, unless we have permission. But yeah, it would be easier to meet in the haunted house." Again he nodded. "Yeah, pretty much. I am...familiar with a gatcha machine? They're like those games that you press a button and get a small toy?"

It was mildly amusing for Jason's attitude, mostly, it was the girls who sometimes treated him like a junior. Jason, he always temporarily forgot he was a senior because of his appearance. "Is that so? I would get a golem next time I visit there for purpose other than patrol or meeting up." It wasn't that he is afraid of breaking rule but because he wanted to experience piloting a golem. It would be a brand-new sensation, he thought. "Yes, that's it! Where is it...." He fiddled his coat and picked a bunch of trinklet. "Like these. I collect them as a habit, anyway, don't you think the rooms in Haunted House are like the Gacha capsules in the machine. You know some possibilities from it, but you're not sure if you would get it."

"Alright" Jason responded, then wondered if that sounded like he just gave permission for something he shouldn't need to. "U-uhh, h-have fun?" Hopefully that made it sound better. He then leaned forward to get a better look at the capsule. "Ahh. Yeah you're right, they are a bit like gatcha machines." Though he much preferred the machine then the haunted house. The surprises he would get there were much more threatening then the little toys he could get.

He grinned, "I will." It was a bunch of clanging charms, weird, cute and unique that Jason saw. Easy to figure out, he had been collecting those trinklet as a habit. "Yup, the excitement and might be the disappointment that come after. It would be better if you have a buddy to go to Haunted House with you though in cases you get a rare." He nodded. "Sadly there are not much gacha machines in America." Ace sighed, whether he was talking the gacha or the Haunted House was unclear. "Do you like gacha machine Jason? Are you a collector of anything?"
