A curious sound reached Shaiya's sensitive ears as they rounded the next bend. The trees were crying out in pain, as someone brutally tore them limb from limb. She motioned to the other two, and followed the noises. As she peered out from behind a tree a chunk of wood hit her full in the face. She fell backwards in surprise, nursing a cut lip. "Monsters.." She mutteres harshly as Freya giggled wickedly in the background. Jadeira, crouched low, tip toed to the edge of the clearing as her foster mother helped Mistress Shaiya stem the flow. She was met with as unusual sight. A young woman was tearing apart the clearing in an apparantley mindless rampage. Her eyes widened, at the ease in which the woman desecrated the area around her.

She'd been happily destroying another round of trees when she heard a hiss of 'monsters' behind her. Ceasing her tree shredding, Ankhe turned around and stood ready for a fight. Behind her, partly hidden by brush and wood chips, there was a group of three. She examined them for a moment, then a shadow glaive.
"What do you want?"
A thought occured to her, "Do you know the way out of this bloody forest? I've been going around in circles for quite some time..." As she said this, she glared at the remaining trees she'd passed but had yet to attack.

Sensing others also in the forest, Junai stopped to pause for a second. The....the blood......of....of Shavas!? Here? Junai lept high above the trees and into the air to search out the smell, using only his Chi and demonic heritage.

Freya leaped infront of the other two automatically, positioning her sword between the stranger and her companions. (Spoof you stole my weapon T-T I use glaives, well actually now that I think about in none of my characters are using...damn)
Shaiya was on her feet only a second behind the redhead, Katanas in hand, studying the offender, and assuming a defensive position.
Jadeira on the other hand stepped past the other two, ignoring the protests of guardians. "We're just passing through... I suppose we could show you the way out if that would err.... calm you down." she murmered meekley, gazing at the woman with apparant trust, though she rested her hand on the hilt of an oversized sabre.

"SHAVAS!" He yelled it from a high branch in the tree Ankhe so desperately wanted to shatter. Junai looked down at the group while cold sweat beaded on his face. Yes, he knew it. This was where the scent of Shavas's corpse originated. Could it be.....?

Ankhe's attitude did a 180.
"Oh! That would be AWESOME! Would you really?!"
Her summoned shadow glaive dissapated in her hands, returning to whisps of shadow. She ran over to Jadeira, completely ignoring the various sharp objects pointed in her direction. She tackle-hugged her and then did an odd happy dance in the middle of the new clearing. (Though she hadn't forgiven the trees, nor the forest, she would let them off the hook...for now.)

By now Junai had reached the ground among these pecualiar charcaters.
"Cat ears...?" He had this sudden urge to touch them on Anke's head, but he decided against it, for he had more important issues on hand.
"Shavas.....you're....supposed to be dead" He directed at Freya, not quite understanding that Freya is the DAUGHTER of Shavas. rolleyes

Jadeira patted Anke's back stiffley, and turned to Shaiya with a pleading look.
The elvish woman promptley peeled the girl of of Jadeira, and then in response to an uncontrollable impulse; stroaked the fuzzy ears protruding from Anke's head.
(That was my humor)

Freya gazed at the boy oddly, carefully resheathing her swords.
"Im not Shavas, She was my mother."
She grasped the boys face with her hands, and looked into his eyes,
"But how would you know who my mother was? Why your scarcely more than a child!" She exclaimed, Looking back over her shoulder she caught the others stares, and threw her arms up in exasperation. "Good Heavens! can we please get out of this forest, where we can sit down somewhere and discuss this? She glared pointedly at Shaiya "We are supposed to be in Domachi by the end of the week!"

Ankhe gave into an impulse of her own and bit Shaiya's hand.
"No touchie the ears. I'll take the hand off next time..."
Her offended ears perked at the mention of Domachi. Coincidentally, she was heading there as well.
"Ooh, can I travel with you guys?? I'm heading to the Temple of the Dark Tablet to get some training in whatever style they use over there. Where are you headed?" She tilted her head to the side as she spoke.
