The lightning elemental gave a small pout when Brenley remarked that he did not want to dance. "But dancing at the prom is part of the fun!" Wait, who was he looking at? Wasn't that the school president? Llyrendil wasn't waving at Ignatius, but Ignatius waved back at him anyway, just to be friendly. Why did Brenley seem so uneasy? He seemed nervous a lot in general but... Perhaps it was lucky that Ignatius was easily distracted by the now glowing wand, as Ignatius didn't bother asking Brenley what was up just yet. He was safe for the moment, at least from him. And Brenley was dancing! Badly, but he was doing it. "See, told you prom was for dancing! Though maybe more in time with the music." Ignatius plucked up one of glasses Brenley had been Not Staring at and placed them onto Brenley's face. He snorted. "Even better!"

Lock was running a thousand oh no this is awkward what the jack do I do scenarios in his head when Lutz spotted Erebus. It would have been erroneous to say that Lock didn't feel total and utter relief when Erebus was called over- it gave them something to talk about and solidarity in numbers.
They were really only good all together apparently. Too much tsundere in one spot.
"Hello," he greeted Erebus monotonously, scanning the crowd as though he was more interested in other things. He looked back at the other two and said, "Should we ... go play games ... or something ..."
What did you do at a dance??

Suddenly a boil approached her. Trisha stopped mid chew, and stared. and stared a little more. He was wearing practically nothing and Trisha approved. Her eyes trailed down to his waist... was that a daffodil? No wonder she hadn't spotted him first, it was down there. She had been looking a little more up. And he was a touch taller than her student form. (Though her horns when above his head, she could deal with hornless bulls though.) She figured he was some sort of dog or cat. Oh was she still staring. she closed her mouth and finished chewing her bite, quickly swallowing it. The rest of the apple was tossed. "It seems we are. Hello I'm Trisha." she gave him a pleasant smile and then stepped forward stealing his arm giving her a chance to better check out his chest. Be still her beating heart. "What do you want to do first?"

Pale cheeks paled further at the compliment, and with a small smile the boil lifted a hand to tuck pale hair back behind a long ear. "Th-thank you." Bashful and blushing all over again. Jory certainly didn't mind the soft flutter of wings that seemed to have taken roost in his stomach. It made things exciting again. Zaire's attempt to steer his attention away from the snack table and a certain someone that happened to be standing near it was almost successful. Jory saw the wolf boil, but he let his boilfriend tug him around. Slender fingers returned that squeeze, and he smiled leaning into Zaire's side. "What do you want to do first?" Having a snack had probably been his first choice, but he doubted the other boil was going to be all that willing to approach Helki at the moment. They avoided him in the best of times. Zaire was probably close to panicking now. Jory didn't want that. He didn't want to feel anxious, or have to worry about Helki causing a scene. He just wanted to enjoy the night with his boilfriend. Glowing eyes narrowed slightly as he watched her skipping on ahead of him. "What other things?" Now he was curious. She did have a point though, about being able to attend future proms if they wanted to. It wasn't as if they were barred from student events just because they had graduated. Still..."It would be the same, though." Something to consider, certainly, but not the same. He gave her hand a squeeze when she slid it into his own, thumb rubbing over soft skin. He reached out for the door as they reached it, pulling it open and holding it for his ghoul. "After you, little queen." Merry had always looked lovely in colors, red especially. It was why she'd picked that color for tonight, the rich, light fabric brought out her eyes, her hair, the sunset tint of of her scales. it contrasted with the blues and greens in her wings and tail. Eye-catching just didn't quite cover it. She was putting on the finishing touches of her make-up as she waited for her dates to collect her for the evening. Dark liner made red eyes seem larger, and her lips were like rose petals. A cur of hair hung down to tickle against her cheek, escaping the careful twist and pin she'd set it in earlier. The dress was a flouncy thing, as most of her her dresses were. It was layered and flowing, and came up to gather at the neck with what looked like a jeweled collar. It left her back bare, hit about mid thigh, and there were dark, snag-aesthetic fishnet leggings chasing down to her ankles. She was totally ready!

Today was the big day! A party awaited. Carlos had put on his custom, a Beastly dark brown suit, with fur sticking out just enough to prove he was the beast. On the inside layer was a blue vest and a red handkerchief in his pocket, with a lavender rose attached. He had bought that rose himself. He wore a hat with decorative horns, he had none of his own but his ears twitched to either side. Before even getting to the prom, he had picked up Camilla and given her a lavender corsage to match her dress. He had to write home and ask for the seeds for it, and it was rather spendy for a cat, but his den mothers had all been very pleased when he explained it was for his date for prom. A very special event. He had no trouble finding her room, with it's decorative door and rose handle. But he hadn't gone inside. Just stolen her away with compliments and love riddle, no pouncing no! Tonight he was a beast but a good and kindly beast to his princess. they were out to have fun. The illusions didn't fool Carlos, having grown up around illusions he knew a cat from a horse. And a gym from a castle. But he did appropriate the nice work. And the sparkles leading them to the prom were a nice touch. He approved. "Look Camilla, A castle for my princess. Perhaps they have a ball inside." He waved a paw at the gym.

"Other things, you have to figure them out yourself, Mister Wolf," Junko teased with a giggle. It was something that had been pointed out to her by a very helpful Someone, and normally such comments would have annoyed her but for once she had actually found it funny, and so kept with what she was doing. The door was opened for her and she performed a playful little curtsy for Seiji, obviously energized by her excitement for the night. "Why thank you, my king." She went inside, bringing Seiji along with her and only stopping once they were clear of the entryway and out of the path of others coming in behind them. It was beautiful. The outfits, the decorations, she even liked the music. Where once she had been terrified of events like this now she lived for them. Junko turned around to face Seiji, taking his other hand and swinging both hands back and forth while rocking from heel to toe. "We didn't get to dance much at the last dance, so we need to make up for that," she announced with a nod of her head. But she saw friends. They also needed to say hello to them. What to do first?! "Should we start with a dance or go say hi to some of our friends? I see..Vaith with Xiu and Hel." She blinked. That was an interesting combination there.

"Yes, we're here," Lutz confirmed, his flat tone matching Lock's, "Good to see that you made it as well. Looking sharp..."
His voice dropped to a barely audible grumble, "...And decidedly more human than the last time I saw you." He was never going to forgive Erebus for that, even if the incident had resulted in him obtaining a cute new minipet partner.
Lutz turned to look at Lock at the mention of games. Games? Were they in a different room? Outside? It was starting to get a little crowded in here, so he was more than willing to go try out some games if it meant getting out of student-infested room. Instead of actually saying so, however, the boil simply shrugged his shoulders and stared blandly at his friends with half-lidded eyes.
"Whatever. If you guys want to, I guess."

It was time for Prom! The day had started off well and had continue to go well throughout. Camilla tried to be productive, but she was just so excited! She couldn't focus on anything she tried to do for longer then a few minutes! Except cooking of course. Her tail had been readily displaying her excitement all day, and the Dormouse ghoul speculated that it had been twitching in her sleep as well, as she dream of the Prom to come. Finally, it was time for her to get ready! After having a pretty substantial lunch and afternoon tea she got to work! Bathing and doing her hair took the longest, but the rest was done in no time. By the time she finished it was getting dark and soon she would hear a knock at her door! "Coming!" she chirps which would be followed by the clicking sounds of boots on wood. She figured it was Carlos come to pick her up and the catish shaped shadow in the glass of her door confirmed it! As the Dormouse ghoul opens the door to greet her friend she reveals all her effort at last! The thing that would catch the eye first would be the dress she was wearing! Gupello had done exactly as she'd asked and done it well! A beautiful light lavender purple fit the Dormouse ghoul to perfection. The skirt of the dress was ruffled with two bands of cloth circling it, held in place with round silver and lavender purple resin pins. The top of the dress shimmered beautifully due to the reflective fabric it was made of, the neckline didn't dip too low due to her low bust size. There also was a silver and lavender purple brooch right at the front. Along the front, back, and on her shoulders was strips of a somewhat stiff yet flexible lacey fabric. The dress was accompanied by long light lavender purple dress gloves that went all the way up to just before the french style shoulder straps. Finally, if one were to look under her dress they'd see low lace up dark lavender purple victorian boots with a low heel. ( Dress and Boots with the above mentioned modifications) Camilla had worked hard on her hair, she went for another prom updo like she had for the dance but this time she allowed two of her front curls to hang loose. ( Hairstyle) She had also brushed her tail fur until it was silky soft and had a glossy sheen. Her accessories followed a rose theme to keep the Belle theme going. On each mouse ear was a small clip-on light lavender purple rose stud. In her hair on the left side, was a fairly large light lavender purple rose, that had been preserved with magic and turned into a hairclip. Around her neck was a necklace made up of a thinish silver chain with three evenly spaced white pearls on each side and a light lavender purple rose pendant at the bottom. dangling off the rose was a single white pearl. A chunky charm bracelet with dark lavender purple lampwork roses and diamond shaped beads made of both lavender purple and a light green on a chain of silver adorned her left wrist. Finally, clutched in her hands was a red rose shaped clutch with a silver clasp and chain. ( Earrings, Hair Clip, Necklace, Bracelet, And Purse) Gupello had done a splended job indeed! Most of the Rose accessories however were things Camilla already had. The purse however was definitely new! "Hi Carlos!" she greets both cheerfully and excitedly. However, upon opening the door to greet Carlos, the Dormouse ghoul lays her eyes on the sparkly path before her for the first time! Her soft shadowy black eyes widen with glee and might have sparkled a bit! "Ooo! Wow wow!" she exclaims in awe as she looks gazes at the decorations that just lined the hall! She was busy for a moment just looking all around, until the corsage was presented to her! "Wow! Is that for me!?" she exclaims more then asks as she stares at the beautiful corsage. "Thank you so much Carlos!" she says gleefully before sliding the corsage onto her free left wrist. For a long moment she just admired her new accessory with a large smile on her face. However she didn't have too long as suddenly she was swept off her feet! "Eep! Oh! Heh!" she laughs and puts her arms around his neck for support. When the pare reach the Gym, Camilla was further awed by the castle illusion! "Wow! They really went all out!" she exclaims before smiling at his comment "Heh! And a castle for you too Sir beast! Onwards inside!" she says playfully before pointing dramatically at the entrance. She'd get him to put her down there. phantompanther13 Sorry for the long intro! Heh!

It seemed his date was enjoying the sights and sounds. And his gift matched her so well. They were clearly a pair. He set her down and let her walk into the ball room. There didn't seem to be any announcements when the walked in but, there was food and music. They were fashionably late, perfect timing for the party to just be starting to pick up. Carlos floated in excitement, bobbing in the air between 2 and 3 inches. "Music food and dancing. What a grand party. Would you like a wand princess?" he drifted off to the swag table, and picked up one of the wands. There were not that many interesting things but a princess should have a wand. He floated back and offered it to her. Carlos's ears twitched as the music played, and swiveled around as they tried to take in everything. He seemed pleased just to be there though a nice corner sounded good.

Upon being set down, booted feet would click happily on the gym floor as she enters. Camilla didn't mind boots so much after the Knight dream, though she still prefered to go barefoot. However one shouldn't attend a ball in barefeet if one could help it! That simply wasn't proper! Or so she was taught. Fashionably late was always good, unless you were a white rabbit of course! But she nor Carlos were of that ilk and so late was fine for them. The Dormouse ghoul marvel's with wide eyes at all the decorations. They had done a wonderful job with decorating the gym! Soon the music, food, and dancing came to her attention and she just couldn't help but beam excitedly! Tonight was going to be great! "Hm? Oh! Heh! Yes I would indeed!" she laughs and waits patiently for him to return. When he does she smiles at the green wand and twirls it a bit! "Perfect! Thank you!" she chirps happily. She'd have to look over the table herself later, but for now the food caught her interest. "Sir Beast, should we see what they have to eat?" she asks curiously. While her lunch and tea had been large it had been many hours ago and she was feeling the slightest bit peckish. However if Carlos wasn't hungry she certainly could hold off. The games outside had piqued her interest, and the gigantic mirror did as well. She was eager to explore, but wanted to be mindful of her date too. phantompanther13 Swag! "My lady princess, a snack to eat sounds lovely." he offered his arm. Carlos had saved all his energy for tonight, he spent most of the day napping. Though he did save a nice mouse mini for breakfast, he was indeed hungry enough to have some appetite. He crossed the floor with her, and spotted the true love's kiss. "Oh that looks good." there was not a spot of tea in sight but it was a party, not a tea party. Honestly he would have preferred the tea but he knew well adults usually had wine and other drinks of delight at these types of parties. He took a drink and tired it out. strawberry and blood. mmmmmm. oh the meat wand looked good too. Carlos took one and opened his mouth wide. chomp. he pulled them all of the stick and ate it in one slurpy bite. Carlo's manners were not the best.

"Heh! Then food it is good Sir Beast!" she laughs before taking the presented arm and crossing the floor with him. It was probably a very good thing the Dormouse ghoul didn't know he had a mouse mini for breakfast... She likely would have lost her appetite if she had... Fortunately it was not a openly shared fact, and so she happily peruses the selection while her tail wags merrily. She was curious about the wishing themed drink... But... after her experience at the dance and seeing just how badly alcohol can effect someone... She decided to just stick with water... The Meat wands did catch her eye however, and like Carlos she picks one up. However, before she could take a bite, she was distracted by the Cheshire Cat boil eating his in one gulp! Stick and all! "Wow..." she whispers in awe... It took her a moment to realize she was staring, but when she does she quickly returns her attention back to the food in hand. After taking a nibble she smiles happily and soon finishes it. But she leaves the stick... Carlos never ceased to amaze her... After taking a drink of water to wash the meat stick down, she turns her attention to the Cupcakes. The glass slipper looked good so she carefully she tries one, while also trying not to get frosting on her gloves... It was tricky, but she managed it! "Mmm! These are good! Try one!" she chirps happily, before holding out a cupcake for Carlos. phantompanther13 Food table perusal lol. She'll still treat him to dinner later after Prom though if they are hungry again by then.

After the surprising event that had happened to give her a boil to hang out with til she found her date and, also, an interesting individual to get to know. He seemed excited but she had been as well and, well, still was! "Arnold! Pull any harder and you might pull my very arm off." It had been worth a try to get the Frog Prince to slow their pace but just a bit. "I wasn't the one who mentioned dancing and the finally get a chance! No way am I missing it!" And it didn't help that he was slightly smaller than her so a bit of hunching was needed as they made their way to the open dance floor. "You sure you don't mind my... Height?" Aureole wasn't entirely self conscious about it but it did make some thing difficult. But it didn't seem like the boil minded in the least as he clasped her hand in his and guided her other to his shoulder. "No, just means you can lead!" Ah... True. Arnold had never said if he could actually dance and, despite the kind of ghoul Aureole was, she was been taught to dance. "Very true." Aureole smirked before going into a smooth dancing, almost waltz, sort of dance that she had danced with her father many times during similar parties.

The tabby's grin widened, and he waited quite patiently for the ghoul to give him a look over. His own gaze swept her form in a way that wouldn't at all be considered gawking even though she was quite lovely; he wasn't exactly a risk taker with flirting after the results of the-class-that-shall-not-be-named.
His expression took on something more akin to amusement when reality seemed to catch up again, giving a glance to the food table as she tossed her snack away. Maybe the apples weren't good, he guessed, before reaching for a meat wand just as Trisha introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you, Trisha. I'm Deacon." He offered politely. "Unless we'd like to go with Echo and Narcissus for the night." He added the last in jest, maneuvering his arm to accommodate her gesture and gently linking them together. "Did you want to get something different to eat?" Deacon asked, gesturing with a tilt of his head toward the table. "Since you threw your apple away?" He held up the kabob in his other hand, in suggestion. "The food's usually pretty good. The drinks are what you need to be careful about..."
Either way, he pulled off the first morsel of his own wand with his teeth and chewed a moment. "These aren't bad, if you like meat." As for what kind of meat? It was hard telling and he had no idea. "Looks like there's veggies on it, too." Just in case her species leaned toward vegetarian diets, it might help to specify that too.
"Is this your first prom? There's usually plenty of games to play, and those are always fun. You can win minipets, trinkets and candy sometimes."
-------
Yuki might have been just a little too enthusiastic about his costume. The moment that he'd heard the theme for this year's prom, he was determined that a knight would be the best choice of 'character' to attend in.
His strange dreams probably had a lot to do with the fondness, actually.
Seeing as it wasn't his first event of this sort, he hung back a little just as he entered. Certainly, he planned to see everything before the night was out, but the first order of business was letting Astra decide what they were to do first.
"Food or games, love?" He asked toward the fae on his arm with a smile.
-------
Costumes were overrated when one was a dragon. Technically, he already fit into the theme of fairy tales just fine, so why worry about wearing anything special and potentially awkward? Or... more awkward than the leather he usually cocooned himself in.
Wings tucked close to his back and out of the way of passersby, Tanvir looked like he was trying to make himself as small as possible. It was quite the feat considering that he was not small.
"Are we supposed to... Sign in? Or something?"
He had literally no idea about how any of this worked, and looked to Pokerus for answers.

In terms of character, Astra had been tempted to just go with the 'fairy; theme, because why not? But when she heard that her partner would be a knight she decided the best option would be a princess (or maybe even a fairy princess. She had the crown and everything). Because Yuki was her knight and she couldn't stop giggling at the idea of Yuki riding in on a nightmare horse to save her from Jericho a fire breathing dragon. Her giggling only subsided (briefly), when she was asked as to what their destination should be. "Games would be fun" She asked, her face lit up in a beaming smile as she clung to his arm, wings humming behind her so she could keep level with Yuki. "Was there any you wanted to play?" Prom had been something Pokerus wasn't too interested in, considering she didn't do the whole dress thing, but upon being approached by a very stoic dragon and requested to attend this years prom she had taken a keen interest in it. So much that she actually grabbed a costume. Considering Tanvir had taken the dragon option. Now the dragoness stood in full pirate gear, fiddling with the feathered that stuck out (the horns kept getting in the way), she only half heard what Tanvir said. "What? Oh. No, we just...wonder around. Do stuff. Dance I think." She was still working through the fact that he had asked her to prom. She had never been asked to go to prom before. Why had he asked her of all creeple?! Looking away from the dragon, she spied the Saviour that was the food table. And she could smell meat. "Heck yeah! Tanivr check this out!" She made a beeline for the table.
