SRIINA POST 3
Sriina crossed her arms over her chest. A small water earthling called her out from nearby, claiming she was a coward. "Cowardice is not the issue. It doesn't take a brilliant mind to figure out the difference between giving help and being used." She cocked her hip to the side and felt the weight of her sword shift on her hip. "Being war happy does not excuse turning a blind eye. We saved the last war against the Obans. And in return they're calling us in to fight again. Is this really freedom to be at the beck and call of others?"
She nodded her head in agreement to the water earthling who came to her side. At least someone had some sense around here.

Kalliope Post 3 When the Matorian seemed to snap at her she flinched and stared at him all wide eyed. "N-noth--" She stopped when he put emphasis on the word Oban. Kalli brought her hands to her hips and huffed at him. "Listen here Matorian.. I wasn't even born when your people were slaves so don't pull attitude with me. I happen to have two Matori friends." She gave a hrumph but instantly softened her expression and lowered her hands. With a deep breath she looked toward Besian, taking in what he said. At least she wasn't the only one that thought giving aid was the right thing to do. After hearing that she looked back at Shaka. "Will you be going to help out? I wouldn't mind having someone big and strong next to me if a fight comes." A smile lit her features as she spoke. Kalli even held her hand out toward him to show she meant it.

Eziya Post 3Feeling Serr's hand on her shoulder, Eziya relaxed and rested her own hand atop of his. He was right. If they wouldn't help they could still leave, but luckily from what the leaders were saying it seemed they would go and help out Sauti after all. She was happy to say the least. She was sure she could do some good for both sides. "If it comes down to a fight I'll just have to make sure to help everyone. Even the Alkidike. Maybe then they'll see that we're okay," she muttered to him, hopeful that it would be the case. They were warriors though, so she wasn't really sure they would listen to reason. Leaning against Serr's side, Eziya glanced up at the taller Leaf man. "Since it seems we are going to go help, promise me you'll be careful, okay? No getting stabbed again for you mister."Smerdle *throws reply* Finally I can respond. XD

Nuri Post 3
Nuri peered closely at his companion and mentor, trying to guage how he was reacting to Aseara's presence. It was hard to push aside how he was raised, even when he felt remorseful of his past interactions with the wind girl. Maybe his feelings for her were part of his drive to help Sauti, but it was a subconscious choice as best. Nuri still felt that, like most, the King would choose to fight and he would follow orders. It was inevitable, and so he figured there was no use even going against it. Even if every single person here was against an invasion, if his king and general signed it off, Nuri would go without argument. That was his job, and he was a soldier.
Unfortunately, he just wasn't as outspoken as his peer, not in terms of war games. Maybe someday, but today he was content to keep his opinions outside of the field.
He gave Saraf one last, long look, before keeping his face schooled and asking, "Leaving so soon, Saraf?"
Consider it a test, but Nuri was feeling bold, and he did want to prove to Aseara that he wasn't going to hide her, not this time. That thought in mind, he took a deep breath before turning back to his friend and catching her remark and her smile, sending her one of his own.
"There really is no point in bothering with this...whatever the King decides, the general will follow, and we will as well. This whole...discussion is meaningless. And considering our King was elected by those in Sauti...he most likely will go to their defense. We are going to help them defend their country."
He shrugged, appearing apathetic yet hoping he didn't hurt Aseara's feelings too much yet again. In fact, he suddenly realized he still had the candy in hand, and turned to her and held out his hand with a meager face, saying nothing and hoping the candies would speak for themself like they did before.

Kani Post 3"Look, I don't agree with working with the Oban. Never have and never will. I do believe in working towards helping the other races though. If the Alkidike take over Sauti they probably won't stop there. They'll keep pushing until they've reached our own home. Why wait until then when at the moment we have the others willing to fight as well? Our freedom is in jeopardy if the Alkidike take Sauti, so I would rather go and help the others to secure our freedom for certain than wait and see if the people in Sauti beat the Alkidike or not." Kani was tired of all the arguing, but at least it seemed the leaders had reached a decision. That was all she could really ask for. She had been gearing up for the festivals and training for the rituals, and now instead she was going to help Sauti. It was an interesting turn of events, but at least she would get to see more of the world. She'd never even met a wind earthling before. Perhaps she'd even bump into Gael, Jelanii, or Cerith. They were bound to be around somewhere.

Eleina - Post ThreeShe nodded. "It sure seems that way doesn't it." she shook her head. She didn't think she would have to fight so soon, but she wasn't against it. It was the right thing and as horrible as it was it would be the best way to practice what she learned.
"I agree. I mean if we can fix this with words that wouldn't be bad, but if we can't I don't think we should run. You have a point, we wouldn't want them trying to come here." she froze when the Oban male turned towards her and Karothdra. She wasn't sure she completely agreed with him, but he wasn't wrong either.

kaname423 Shaka Supports Siriina (S3!) Mynshaka Post 3

He scowled at the twerp; her voice was that of someone who had not been raised in a harsh world. "Oh such a happy life you've had." He growled and paused to listen to the leaders. He would not be helping in this war. He had things to do back home; like keep an eye out for stupid obans. And so she ahd frinds... how happy and good for her. Wonder how much she pays them.. or her father does.
"Get yerself a different person to flatter brat. Ah don't fight for or with Obans. Against ye now that's a different thing." He ignored her offered hand. Brat just wanted a person to do all the work and die for her so she didn't have to dirty her lil hands. "Ah ain't going to protect any oban brat... go fight yer own battles cause Ah ain't bleeding fer any more obans."
He heard one water girl speak out, voicing an opinion he agreed with whole-heartedly. "Aye! And it's not like there's plenty of other folk who're closer and can give aid! We ain't got time to go fight small time wars elsewhere; rebuilding is more important!"

Kalliope Post 4 Again she frowned. It was clear that this man had been mistreated. Kalliope could see that. Still, she held her head high and answered him. "I planned to fight for those in Sauti. I'm sorry if you think I wanted you to fight for me." She only had a little dagger at her hip but she would use it if she had to. "And my name is Kalli. Not brat." She supposed she could call the man a brute to retaliate against him for the name calling, but it would get them no where. The tiny dancer didn't think he would share his name either, so she added one last thing before she turned from him. "I hope you can rebuild your home as you want." Moving away from him now she focused her attention on the crowd. Kalliope was still trying to find faces she knew. Maybe even Incanthis. They hadn't been shopping in a while and she missed him. Of course it was due to her practicing a lot lately. She hoped her eyes would land on her older sister so that she could stand by someone she knew and felt safe with. Right now she felt hated. Even though she'd not been part of the generation that had had slaves she was viewed as someone who had a luxury filled life. Kalli couldn't win. It brought tears to her eyes as she thought about Azure. Did he feel that way too? Is that why she'd never seen him again? Reaching up she quickly wiped those gathering tears away so that no one would see them. For now she needed to focus on the now.

Saraf Post 3Saraf turned to look at Nuri when he asked if he was 'leaving so soon' which had him giving him a long look before he glanced over toward the Wind Tribeswoman, then back again. Was he trying to herd him along so that he could chat up the dancer without Saraf being underfoot? He wasn't sure what he thought of that, the idea of just leaving Nuri with a woman that Saraf didn't really care for. It was likely his own biased against those who weren't Oban. He didn't care for them, didn't think they should get involved... but Nuri seemed to think otherwise, possibly influenced by the Wind Tribe dancer that was at his side. Not as though he could really tell his friend to drop her and find a 'good Oban woman' since he was his friend, not his family, not to mention it would be out of line. After drawing in another breath, one he had to help to get his thoughts in order he gave the best smle he could and said, "I suppose I can give the two of you some space." He really didn't want to play witness to his friend chatting up the girl up he supposed. Lifting a hand he gave the couple a little wave, "Try not to get Nuri into anymore fights, it won't do well for his career in the army if he's found getting into battles with you." He wanted to say more but decided to censor himself. He refused to argue with or risk losing a close friend and ally over some dancer he thought to himself as he turned to go, giving the pair some space.

Aseara - Post #3The Wind girl could feel something was going on between the two men, but as to what it was… She had no idea, but she guessed it had something to do about differing opinions on whether or not to go to war. Nuri’s words seemed to point towards this train of thought, Aseara felt bad she’d jumped into a precarious situation. She was Wind after all, this concerned her as well. Nuri seemed to want him to stick around but the other didn’t seem so keen on doing so.
“Ah no, you don’t have to leave…” Aseara felt even worst now, she didn’t think he needed to leave.
It didn’t help that the other seemed to think Nuri was getting into fights because of her; Aseara didn’t know to take his words as a warning or just words. She didn’t think she was doing anything bad hanging around him, but she’d never really given it a thought either. Again, she felt bad and she didn’t know exactly why. She didn’t bother replying to Saraf’s words, only gave him a good serious look. Perhaps she’d have a talk with Nuri on whether or not she was holding him back in his career or something. She knew he liked being a soldier.
The bag that was extended brought her thoughts away from Saraf and onto Nuri. “What is it?” Aseara took the bag and opened them. Candy, her favorite. “Ahh Nuri you didn’t have too! Thank you for the gift” All too happy to receive the candy she gave him a hug, squirming even as she did so before releasing him and popping a candy into her mouth. “Mmm.” Aseara smiled and extended the bag to offer Nuri some as well. “I hope I didn’t make your friend leave or angry.” She didn’t really know what to think of Saraf.

Karothdra - Post #3The Oban girl turned to the man that had interrupted her conversation with Eleina, she narrowed her eyes at him thinking he was going to say something stupid. It was rude to interrupt a conversation after all. Though she nodded with a smile to his small speech, they shared the same train of thought. Though, he sounded a little more radical than her. Yes she didn’t want to give them an inch that was not theirs but out right making them wish they’d stayed home was a little too strong for her. Now that he’d said his peace, Karothdra turned back to Eleina to continue their conversation.
“What class have you chosen?” Karo was curious to know what the other had picked. She didn’t think words would work, they were warriors and they only knew fighting. If they’d been pushing this whole time someone must have tried speaking with them and it didn’t look like it had worked very well. “If words worked, I’m fine with that… However, I would guess that someone must have talked to them so they stopped harassing the others. Doesn’t seem like it worked.” It was her own assumption of course, she could be completely wrong. “Either way, it’s the kings decision in the end.”

Amarone Post 3
Amarone missed his flinch, instead focusing once again on the words around them. It wasn't until he spoke again that her bright eyes looked back on his features, and she became inspired by his words. He was right, she could do something for her lands even if she wasn't fighting or there. She could find a way to give back to her family or the people here, to supply them with tools or items to get them there faster. There had to be something, and she let her eyes glaze over for a long moment after he finished speaking to think about her options.
"I...I could invent things for the fighters...ways to travel faster...or help preserve weapons...." She had never considered inventing items like that, weapons, but it was an interesting idea, and she would do anything for her family and her country, "...I would do anything for my family if they were in trouble."

Irrohnaghal 1
Irro was ready to head home and help with that front but it looked like she would be traveling from here with the Oba/Matori frotn. SHe could feel the palpable tension pouring off the Oban and Matorian people standing before the crowd and she wondered what the Obans felt abot helping those they had fought against not so very long ago. Who knew which way this would turn given time, it would be interesting to see how things went , she at least was all for helping Sauti out, this had to be squelched now or other nations might be next. "I vote to help Sauti."
Keelthy 1
Keelthy stood with his brother shoulder to shoulder, side by side. They had not traveled to Sauti during their time in Tendaji but still it seemed an important matter to stop any form of extremist; alkidike or otherwise. He had regained his respect from his family and he couldn't be happer and then this happened; politics bah! He poked Reil and pointed at the fire and waterling on stage, "How long before they are hissing and spitting at each other?"
They hadn't been on the warfront with the forces before but it was evident that not all of the angst had disapated.
Reillan 1
Reill looked over to where his brother pointed and snorted, "Well from the looks fo things its already started." not to say that Besian and Naria were acting a little immature but this was no time for exchanging barbs. Everyone should be focused on this place called Sauti. Unfortunately instead of moving out directly or at the very least preparing they were all standing around talking about it. Talk was good, discussion better but Reill couslnt help but be anxious. The more time they gave the more time the alks had to prepare and sneak around.

serr post twoHe remained surprisingly motionless as he watched the crowd come around to a less cowardly way of thinking, fleetingly pleased they were seeing reason. While he was no longer terribly worried about Fiia's ability to recognize when she wasn't safe and move on, he would work to prevent her having to do so at all if it was within his power. The willing assistance of some of Oba's supposed warriors would definitely make all of that easier. He smirked, his hair shielding his face for a moment as he looked down. Only Eziya would be eager to patch up the newest wave of people who wanted to enslave them. He lowered his hand from hers and leaned her way with a chuckle. "I'll do my best. I don't do it on purpose or anything." Except that he did, but there was no need to worry her. He'd be as careful as he could, but sometimes even he wasn't quick enough to stay out of the way of a swinging sword or nimble spear.

Eziya Post 4"Well if it does happen at least I'll be around to fix you up and take care of you," she smiled, though she really did hope he stayed out of trouble. Knowing Serr though he would probably get himself into something though. He was a fighter and it was in his nature to go off and get into all sorts of things. She sighed to herself, chewing on her lip as she thought of Sauti and how they were the target. Sure, it's where the Alkidike were headed, but they had to go through Jauhar to get to them. She just really hoped her mother was safe and out of harms way. If the Alkidike got to her she wouldn't know what she'd do. It was the one regret she had about not going back to Jauhar. "I hate all this worrying. I just really hope Jauhar is safe and that I didn't make the wrong decision by staying here instead of going to see if my mother was okay. Either way I would have been worried about someone though." Her mother had that man to look after her, and she was a strong woman. She could handle things, right? Gift seemed to sense her uneasiness and nuzzled against the two of them, apparently hoping to help in some way. Even if the large Xaraan nearly knocked both of them over with her weight. She really would just have to hope for the best and do whatever she could to keep Sauti as well as those she cared about safe.
