Instead he just thought about the kiss that had been placed upon his cheek and how nice it had felt even though it was only a small gesture of affection. He couldn't help the small smile that played across his lips as the other pulled the cloth away. He had remembered JJ telling him why he found Alexis attractive, and true to his words none of it had been about how he looked, and it made him think that maybe dating someone wouldn't be so bad. "You make her out to be some dangerous woman. I'm sure she just wants to make sure that you aren't causing any trouble." The laughter that bubbled up from inside of him startled Alexis. Maybe it was just the relief he felt from having the other accepting him for who he was, and not what he was. It was an embarrassing act but he didn't think that he was comfortable with giving the other a kiss yet so this sign of affection would have to be enough to show that he was ok now. Pourquoi je ne veux pas le faire?  JJ widened his eyes, "dude, she's a black belt. i'm more scared of her than i am just about anyone else out there." his offer of staying there to cuddle was turned down, but Alexis snuggled closer and JJ gave him a small hug. "alright, up we get." he stood and helped Alexis up as well, stretching slightly once up. "oh, i'll probably have a couple bruises, but i'm alright. i'm just glad you are ok." he gave Alexis another once over before slipping his hand into the smaller man's. they walked out and Mi-chan lifted an eyebrow, but JJ showed her that they were holding hands, so Alexis obviously wasn't mad at him "we just tripped, sorry about that. have a good night!" he waved with his free hand and walked out with Alexis, humming happily. "oh, right. tomorrow, i'm still totally in if that is ok? i'd love to go to the movie with you and your family. what time do you want me to come again?" he didn't want to be late. "Oh please don't be bruised. Mom would kill me if I injured her favorite customer." His face immediately darkened into a blush when JJ slipped his hand into his own, but he didn't protest as the other oulled him out of their little booth. He waved at Mi-Chan as they passed by, his blush darkening when JJ brought their entwined hands to the woman's attention. "T-The movie starts at seven so be at the cafe by six so we have time to get there and get our favorite spot." He stammered out, his embarrassment reaching an almost unbearable level. It just seemed as if the gods of embarrassment were out to get him tonight and there was nothing he could do about it. To be honest he just couldn't wait for the night to end... JJ nodded, "i'll come to the cafe at 5:30, then. best to have time to meet dad and all that, i'll even dress to impress." he winked as he held the door to the car for Alexis. when the other got in JJ walked around to the driver side, but instead of putting both hands on the wheel, he started the car and slipped his right hand back into Alexis' as he started to drive them back to the cafe. "is there anything i should know before hand about meeting your father? except for him being quiet and intimidating as well as protective of his kids? i don't want to say or do something that will screw things up."He didn't exactly have the best of relationships with his parent and honestly hadn't ever really done the dating one person and meeting the family thing before. he'd just slept around as he liked, knowing someone's first and last names were like a committed relationship. but now he wanted all of that. he wanted the silly anniversaries and to get to know Alexis' family. He just wasn't too sure how to handle himself around a father without being it being a strictly business relationship. You have captured me.

"With a go get'em attitude like that my dad is sure to like you." He said with all seriousness, a small smile spreading across his lips as JJ grabbed ahold of his hand once more. He thought that it was kind of cute that the other wanted to hold him in some way so he didn't pull against the hand, instead he just entwined their fingers together and traced out the size difference with his other hand. "What not to say to upset my father? Well don't mention anything of the sexual nature, don't try to be anyone but yourself because trust me he will know if you're being fake. Don't grab me around my waist unless you want to lose your arms, actually don't touch me around him unless I snuggle up to you first because than he can't say anything because I'll have been the one to invite the cuddling. If he insists on paying just let him, you'll just piss him off if you don't. And finally just have a back bone. JJ sighed , "you better snuggle up to me during the movie then because i'm not sure i'll be able to help myself." he enjoyed Alexis' exploring their hands and the differences between their sizes, "i'm not sure about the hug thing. i don't mind the bear hug part of it, i just-well, i'm not exactly sure i'd be ok with randomly hugging someone i just met, you know? maybe i could ask or say something about how i heard he likes hugs..." he pursed his lips slightly as he thought about it. "we'll see. so, just be me and don't be 'yes, sir', ',no,sir" huh? sounds like the exact opposite of my father. with him you have to be who he wants you to be and if you dare oppose him be prepared for the worst."JJ rolled his eyes, "i think i can handle that part, though it might be a bit strange at first. are you going to tell them i know?" that was something he was curious about. would Alexis tell them or just let them continue to think he believed Alexis was a girl? It's just something that you learn to get used to with him." He hummed quietly, and old tune from one of his mother's music boxes popping into his head as he continued to play with their hands, doing it more for the amusement of doing so than out of curiosity now. I'm especially telling my mother because she seems to have it stuck in her mind that I am one day going to run away with you and get married on some beach on the west coast. JJ sighed, "the joys of being the rich kid, i guess. parents that don't give a damn and nannies that are there for a paycheck. those were the good ones, the others were natzis. i'd get beat with rulers if i got an answer wrong during our tutor sessions." he shook his head, "sounds like you are close to your family, pushy sisters and all. i'm glad you have them, and apparently your mom is already trying to make me a part of the family so i guess maybe we can get close too." he pulled in front of the cafe and put the car in park. "i promise to not come to the cafe tomorrow, so do you promise to cuddle me during the movie?" he asked, giving Alexis his best puppy eyes. he wouldn't be able to go anyways because he was in a business meeting until four. He had always had a family that supported him through everything while letting him know how much they loved him. His family may not function properly but they were still perfect to him. "Trust me. They will give you no choice but to become a member of the family. They may even force you conform to their half thought ideas and what not... They won't let you be alone." He said quietly, looking out the window at the cafe when JJ stopped the car. "Well because you obviously don't get the cuddles you deserve at home I will think about it. But Jared..." He said calmly before unbuckling his seatbelt and leaning in to give the other a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you, I had fun tonight." Ge gave the other a small smile before getting out of the car walking up to the cafe where he looked back at the car one last time before waving and going into the cafe. Locking the door behind him as he did so. Pourquoi je ne veux pas le faire? JJ touched the spot Alexis had kissed and waved back before he walked into the cafe. Alexis had fun. he sat back and sighed happily, "things are looking good." he started his car and drove to his apartment, having moved out of his father's house the day he'd turned eighteen. there was a message for him on his answering machine and he checked the caller id before groaning. it was his father which meant the message was nothing good. he hit play and got a mike's lemonade, sipping on it as he listened to his father tell him that he'd better be presentable for the next day. he'd worn a grey tie with a white shirt and a red pinstriped suit at the last meeting and his father had nearly screamed himself hoarse afterwards because he 'looked like a slob'. apparently not having your tie match your pinstripes was highly offencive. not that anyone else had noticed. JJ rolled his eyes, finished his beer and went to bed, half planning to wear 'mismatching' clothes again just to piss his father off. he awoke early and went through his morning ritual, shaving and showering on autopilot. he made himself a tea and ate a bagel before going to work, wearing a black suit with purple pinstripes, a lavender tie and a cream colored suit. it actually looked quite good on him and at least he matched. The meeting went amazingly well. the clients agreed to their new contract and signed happily, eager to put their product to the business' name. it was ten to four when he shook their hands and walked them out. he went back to his desk feeling pretty good about everything, but his smile fell when he got called to his father's office. apparently he hadn't negotiated enough and his father decided to tell his quite loudly what a failure he was. it didn't matter that they had gotten more than they originally had planned, he dad felt they should have had even more and that was that. as usual that turned into a scolding for his way of life, his refusal to be exactly who his father wanted and every little thing he'd done wrong since he started to be himself. so, the usual, his father was just on a roll today. most likely he'd learned that JJ's mother was cheating on him again and was taking it out on him. JJ had to leave the office at five to get to the cafe at 5:30 like he'd said. he watched the clock anxiously as 5 rolled past, but it wasn't until 5:20 that he stood. "i'm sorry, but i have an appointment, you can keep yelling at me for some stupid reason some other time. it's not my fault your limp d**k can't keep mom's attention anymore." he knew he shouldn't have said it the moment the words came out of his mouth, but it was too late. his father backhanded him, sending him backwards into the couch. JJ quickly scrambled over it and ran out the door before any more blows could land. he got to his car at top speed and was roaring out of the parking lot at ten to six. he cursed, knowing he wouldn't be able to change before the date, but wanting to get there as soon as possible. he pulled out his napkin and dabbed at the blood on his split lip, not really noticing the pain. it wasn't like this was the first time his father's slapped him around. he just hoped that it wouldn't cause Alexis to worry. he pulled into a parking space at quarter after 6 and hurried into the cafe, looking for Alexis. as soon as he saw him, JJ babbled, "i'm so sorry i'm late. the meeting went long and i couldn't leave so i didn't get a chance to change." he grimaced and looked down at himself, just glad blood hadn't gotten onto his suit. "i would have texted, but i forgot to get your number last night." ((well that got away from me, sorry!)) You have captured me.

"Do not cut off the angry, little man with a jeep! My truck could eat your bug for breakfast so watch yourself pall!" He snapped from inside the jeep his mother had given him when she got a new car. It was an old car but it's reliable so he didn't complain, even if it was next to impossible to get into because of how big it was. The Reston his morning went on like this while he drove to the airport to pick his father up from work. It was traffic jams like that, that made him hate driving more and more as time went on. But he had no choice but to drive through it because he had drawn the shortest straw when they were figuring out who was going to go get their father, he still thought that it was rigged. Talking - #66bb99 / Thinking - #779999 ✦ When he finally did get to the airport he was arrivistes, and tired from the traffic that he left behind him and would probably have to drive through again when he went home. I hate people, nod ihate traffic. There fore I now hate driving. He thought bitterly as he fixed the t-shirt that was falling down his shoulder. He was still wearing his sleep clothes from last night, he had been to tired to change at five o'clock in the morning, and be felt disgusting because of that. At least he was comfortable. With a quick run through of his fingers through his hair, Alexis made his way into the airport. Dreading the crowd she was sure to face while in there. Today was already just turning out to be a bad day, there was however the movie night to look forward to. ✦ Just as he expected. The crowds were horrible inside. And on top of that the airport smelled like a mass of bodies and stale air that left a bad taste in his mouth. He hated airports and all of their overpriced water bottles and knickknacks. This was no place for a human being to spend any of their time, he didn't know how his father could do it all the time! But then again his father was a pilot so he spent most of his time on the planes, not in the actual airport. "Excuse you!" He snapped at an old man who had rudely bumped into him while talking on the phone. That was another thing he hated, rude people and their phones. They just thought that they ruled everything and their sense of entitlement pissedhim off. He was in such a bad mood that he knew that nothing could cheer him up. Nope nothing at a- ✦ "Daddy!" He squealed excitedly, catching the big man's attention as he ran towards his father. "Whoa! Hello Alexis, I've missed you." The man chuckled as he caught hissing who had, quite literally, jumped into his arms. "I've missed you so much dad! It's been forever since you got home and I have so much to tell you! Like Auntie got engaged again! His name is Thomas and he is really nice and..." He babble don as his father set him down and they walked made their way back to his car. Nothing could make the boy happier right, except maybe some more of that wasabi from last night... But he was more than content to sit in the car and talk to his father the whole ride home. His father who he had not seen in months. ✦ "Papa you're home!" The twins screamed in unison as they, Lilith, and Janette ran at the man who had Alexis on his back, hanging there like a sloth to a tree. The four siblings, and their cousin, babbled on while their mother just watched from afar for a bit before going over to kiss her husband on the cheek. "Welcome home my love." She whispered lovingly while the five 'young' ones giggled and cooed at the pair who was being lovey-dovey. "It's good to be back home with all of my lovely ladies and my son... Though it appears to me that one of my girls is missing. Where is Nina?" He asked calmly, his bearded face turning up into a smile as he looked at his family. "She spent the last week and a half at a friends. She'll be back later tonight for the movie, and she is bringing her new boyfriend with her." Janette giggiled while Lolith waggled her eyebrows at Alexis. "Speaking of boyfriends..." Lilith started but was immediately cut off by her make cousin who had slapped his hand over her mouth. "No I get to tell him! It's my news!" And with that the group continued to talk for the rest of the day while getting everything ready to go for tonight's movie. ✦ It was well past five-thirty and Alexis was beginning to worry that JJ might not be coming. Perhaps the idea of Alexis being a male did turn him off. That made him feel foolish for allowing his sisters to put him in a pair of Nina's shorts along with a baggy black t-shirt, that was a casual date outfit and now it looked as if there wasn't going to be a date. "Alexis! Someone is here for you!" His sister Nina called from out in the serving area. He left the back room only to be immediately confronted by the blue haired man. "Don't worry about your clothes! Your lips is swollen? Stay right here I'm going to go get some ice!" He ran into the back room once more while Alexis's father came over to examine the new boy. "So... Who did that to you? And why? You better not be causing troble young man." "Daddy stop it! Jared didn't do anything wrong. This might hurt a bit but bare with it. We have to ice your face before it bruises to badly. What happened Jared?" JJ cursed internally when the first thing Alexis noticed was his split lip. of course he would, that's just the kind of person he was. even if seeing him scurry off to get ice was cute, his attention was quickly drawn to the quite large man who had to be Alexis' father. "No, sir, i was at work and tripped over one of the cables that connected my computer to the projector for my presentation. i ended up splitting my lip against the corner of the table," he grimaced when Alexis put ice against his lip, "i'll tell you one thing, there's a techie that's going to get a talking to when i get to work tomorrow."he gave a weak smile, used to hiding his father's abuse when it came. thankfully it was usually just yelling and the like. he rarely got physical, it was just JJ's luck that one of those rare occasions was today. "i'm fine, really, it just looks bad. i'm sorry that I am late. are we still on for the movie?" he wanted to draw attention away from himself, especially that of Alexis' father. he could understand why the man made people nervous. Then again, he needed to introduce himself properly. "I'm sorry, sir, I'm being rude. My name is Jared Jensen. I work at J.I.C. and am a project manager there." he didn't want to say the full name of the company, Jensen Investment Corporation since it would be a dead give away that he was the son of the CEO. "I know who you are. You're the boy who won't quit harassing my son." He growled bitterly only for Alexis to step in between them. "Daddy stop it! Jared is my date and you will treat him nicely or I'll just drag him off to some love hotel and you won't be able to do a thing about it because I'm an adult!" Alexis snapped at his father who looked at him as if he had just gotten slapped. "But you're the one always complaining about how pushy, and annoying he is..." "Well I have changed my mind about him. Looks like Jared and I will be leading the way~"1color] This got the girls hurtying to finish getting ready while he dragged Jared out of the cafe and to his jeep. "Hurry up and get in before one of my sisters tries to hitch a ride with us." And with that he quickly climbed into the driver's seat of his truck, not really giving the other any option but to follow him.

Pourquoi je ne veux pas le faire? JJ climbed into the car recovering from a rollercoaster of emotions. first his stomach dropping when Alexis' father said he already knew who he was. he'd thought the man meant he knew about his company, but then it was just about how he'd pestered Alexis until the boy agreed to a date. then Alexis was defending him and threatening to go to a love hotel which, ok, that perked his interest. would Alexis really go through with it? and actually do what was normally done in those hotels? that lead his brain to a whole different path of thought, but then he was told by alexis they were riding together and his stomach dropped once more when he heard the other's whisper. so his lie hadn't fooled the young man. it made sense considering ALexis was pretty good at reading people. he quickly shut the door as instructed and waited for them to leave before sighing and leaning back against the seat. he tried to put it off, but a glance at Alexis told him his little boyfriend wasn't about to let it go so easily. "it's really no big deal," he promised as he slipped out of his jacket and tie, placing them in the back of the jeep. at least he was less formal now. he unbuttoned his vest and unbuttoned the top two buttons of his shirt. "I pissed off my dad, it's nothing new. i said something stupid and I knew how he'd take it so it's my fault, really." he shrugged, "sorry that it made me have a bad impressing with your father."You have captured me.
