"Nonsense Otto!" Allan barked out, so that everyone saw who Otto was, "teamwork is teamwork! Just give your kohai the love and patience you show everybody!"
Did the Sun lead have the wrong person here!?
At Jordan and Peyton's offering, Allan practically sparkled, no wait that was Allan just looking like himself and Simon adding a sparkle effect to the background. "Jordan-kun, Peyton-chan, I knew this day would come, the day when you became the sensei for everyone. Ganbatte and remember to always believe in the me that believes in me!"
Wait, what?
"All right," Allan pointed to Jordan and Otto, "we have three volunteers! Things are very busy right now, and even Allan-kun," oh good, he was talking about himself in third person," has to try his best. Us Sun nakama have to stick together, we are the tide that breaks the east wind." What did that even mean, Allan?
He nodded a little longer and then looked a little thoughtful, "there's so few of us, and that is only because we are always needed. Whenever people need help, whenever they need people to fight then, we are the first to come. Our job is tiring, unrewarding, but we continue to fight because we are fighters, and we never give up! Now, everyone, remember your nakama, work together, and always, never, ever give up, and also try this new Ramune I got!"
The Sun leader said his words in a way that was not patronizing at all, just a surge of simplistic feelings and a hope that the mantle would be carried through the generations of Hunters to come. Perhaps the least rewarding division was indeed Sun division, but it also meant it was filled with those who were best at what they did: to fight. To fight, to push forward, to not give up.
Allan nodded and waved to everyone a goodbye, offering anyone who ventured close some more exotic Ramune flavours such as durian. As most Hunters went to mingle and break into groups, it seemed he was handing something over to Simon. If any were exceptionally insightful, they would see he was actually leaning against Simon, favouring one leg. Not a word was said as they were called away again, to perhaps, continue to push forward. To fight. OOC BUDDY SYSTEM: PART 2 :- Whenever any FULL HUNTER or any Hunter with a special working task (anyone quoted below) goes on mission and picks someone of the same division it is considered "mentoring". The Full Hunter and the trainee will get x2 rp points for doing whatever it is they are on (outside of ORPs of course). This includes GM prps if a Hunter has a chance to select a trainee to come along. In addition, a special bonus for Sun Hunters is they can create special obstacle courses to help their trainees along. - If you were NOT QUOTED, please feel free to quote any of those Hunters to ask. Otherwise, their contact information is sent as a public text, and you can text them any time asking for "help" or mentorship. In addition Full Sun Hunters have access to all Sun trainee records, they can text anyone in the division if they are feeling at all helpful. - This is very very oocly encouraged, as a way for the division to icly bond and get together to share what they know. In addition, you are free to make smaller orps or prps where Hunters gather and pool information. This is also a great way for newbie Hunters to be exposed to some of the plots that the more veteran Hunters are doing! - Please use the rest of this RP to icly discuss things! It's a great opportunity to do so. If your Hunter has elsewhere to go they can slink off, and contact other Hunters from this division later! Otto crossed his arms tightly, and looked as irritated as he felt. He wished and hoped that no one came to him.
They better not.
He glared at anyone who dared look his way.

Their seniors were exposed. Ana took stock of the three hunters now tasked with the job of mentoring new recruits, and the choice wasn't very hard. Fussy, pouting young man, friendly little sprite of a woman, or a capable looking man who did not seem too much of anything. Neutral was the kind of attitude Ana craved in a mentor. She strode quickly away from the cheerful mob with their candy and fudge, to stand in front of Jordan and give him a courteous nod. "I would like to request that if I am in need of mentorship, I may rely on you. Is this acceptable?"

Kyle quickly shut his mouth. Semaj had a point there. "It'll be hard to sleep through it for sure. I take it that this s**t isn't an uncommon occurrence?" The wreckage and destruction was going to take a while to clear and patch up for sure. And he had a pretty good idea as to who were going to be the ones entrusted with such mortally peon work since no one else other than hunters were allowed onto Deus.
He looked surprised when Kimberly introduced herself and began alluding to the zombie attack that took place a few days ago. "Zombies? What is this? Resident Evil?" Was that what he slept entirely through? Did they manage to find and hang Albert Wesker or some dude from Umbrella Corporation for starting it all then?
Before he could go on and on and on about the Resident Evil setting and find out for himself just how much of it paralleled the situation that Deus had just gone through, Allan started addressing them all again and then just like that, he was gone. He blinked, his mind snapping back to reality now. "So um... did he say what we are supposed to do from here?"

Kimberly's lips quirked a bit when the boy mentioned Umbrella corp, and she sighed. "As if... I wish it was Umbrella. I'd kick a** if that was the case, but it was just other students gone nuts or something... speaking of nuts... if I ever catch the guy who kicked me in the stomach..." Grudge... hell yes. She looked around at the others and shook her head slightly. "What are we doing now... ?" Her arms crossed over her chest and she tapped one foot impatiently on the grass. It would have been more satisfying had there been a sound from it, but nature doesn't work that way. Finally she just looked at the others around, noticing the guy who looked as peeved as she felt. She stalked up to Otto. "Teach me.." Er.. was that asking or telling? Kimberly manners! For petes sake these are supposed to be your team mates, not servants.Yes Boss... sheesh.After Chinthliss' snapping she added grudgingly. "Please..." Bittiface Kimberly seems to have a massochistic streak.

Suddenly the sun lead started speaking, and Mimi's rapt attention was on him. Such... such words of wisdom...
It was true. She might not have realized it at the time, but she had been heavily dependent on Dae. She missed her constant nagging already.
However, she perked up at the mention of runic weapons. Oh! Chel-senpai had told her a little about that! Could she really pick one and train with it? She preferred working with Dae, even though the sword was heavy, but Dae-sama would probably scold her for slacking off while she was sleeping. Yes, Mimi decided. She would work hard and make her kokoro grow!
And then suddenly the runic weapons trainer introduced himself and Mimi gasped as he ripped off his shirt. She gazed upon his beauty and wonder.
Ooh, he was the one that let them use runic weapons? That was awfully nice of him.
"Thank you Giglamesh-sama!!"
It only seemed right to thank him.
And then Mimi sat and watched as senpais introduced themselves. Yay!
Three were picked, and Mimi would forever remember Allan's wise words of wisdom. She would never give up!!
Mimi picked a bottle of ramune, because ramune was super tasty, though she had never tried durian-flavour before. Hmm.
After that, she bound up to Peyton, because she seemed really nice and had offered to help. She also reminded her of Chel and Sherry.
"Hi!! Can I be your kouhai?"
All the pretty lady senpais.

Seeing as the new girl she'd greeted earlier had gravitated towards Jordan, Peyton was looking up to Andy as her top choice for a trainee to mentor. "You can tag along with me, if you want." As it was, another of their newer recruits apparently had her eyes on the tiny Sun. Pey turned at the voice, offering up a friendly smile in response to the request. "Sure." She offered a very small hand in greeting. "What's your name?" Surely she could take on more than one kohai, right? Right. That was, of course, if Andrew wanted to go with her. It really was up to him.

Mimi took the hand with an equally small hand, and shook it eagerly.
She hadn't realized she might have taken a potential kohai spot from someone the sun hunter might have had her eyes on, but with three senpais, surely it was ok for multiple kouhais? At least she hoped so, or else she would have felt very bad.
Oh right! It was proper etiquette to thank her senpai for accepting her.
She let go of Peyton's hand and bowed.
"Thank you for having me!"

"Yo Mimi." He beamed lazily to the girl, but cut out by the loud bright voice of the Sun Leader. Ace still couldn't follow nakama-tachi, tomodachi, but he felt he liked that Allan guy and his team. Such a fun group. < Oh those abs ♡> Catherine made an appreciated sigh towards the human known as runic weapon trainer. Hey, Cat, don't drool on me. The teasing caused the doll haunt to laugh merrily, < You naughty boil, Ace. I don't drool, just appreciating that body like a piece of art mostly ♡> Hearing what their taichou said, (that was how Mimi called him), he hugged and waved goodbye to Mimi and grabbed a Ramune with a smile. "See you later Mimi cutie." Taking the Ramune without thinking as he smelt the sweetness emitted from the drink, he roamed over the three volunteered. Jordan would definitely a good pick as a responsible and best choice of mentor, but he would be others's best choice as well. So Ace kindly left him for more enthusiastic trainees and sneaked behind someone he found most interested. "Hey, we meet again Otto." If Jordan is Jordan and Peyton is the girl, then the grumpy blonde puppy he sparred last time would be Otto. The tall guy never learn his lesson, he didn't remember he was elbowed on waist when he did the hugging from back to Otto last time. "Oh a pretty face as well. Nice to meet'cha, I'm Ace." I kinda want the marble in it, do you know how to get it?"

Tiring and unrewarding and never give up, and the tide that breaks the east wind, and none of it was unusual for Allan's sense of drama, but ... Jordan stared after Allan with a slight frown gathered between his brows. Was the man limping? He wasn't going to point that out in front of everyone, but it was a worrisome development. He hadn't seen Allan for some time, and he knew that something was going on. Had Allan and Simon been absent because they were needed elsewhere holding something back? He, Peyton, and Otto were being tasked with training. That was something that he never objected to anyway, and it was quietly satisfying to be recognized for it more formally. But he wondered if it should worry him that Allan was delegating. That was a question to put aside for later. For now, he'd been approached by one of the new trainees, a muscular woman as tall as he was who was wearing a mask. The mask was eccentric, but this was Sun division, and her obvious fitness seemed to suggest that she might take her training seriously. He nodded. "Of course. I'd like to assess your current skills and fighting style. I can observe you sparring with another trainee, or you can spar with me; which would you prefer?" His eyes flicked briefly around the group, noting that there were a few trainees who hadn't yet spoken up or moved toward the three full hunters yet. Peyton was taking Andy under her wing, which was fine; she and Otto were both capable hunters, and it was probably better that someone else directly supervise Andy's training. Not that he wouldn't be helping or bugging his kid brother, but it might be better if Andy was being trained by someone he didn't have any blackmail on. baby_gwing Sempai has noticed u Kyle (just looking at, but feel free to join if you want) kuroopii Sempai has noticed u Chance (just looking at, but feel free to join if you want)

Andy stayed quiet and respectful throughout Allan's next speech because he was apparently the Boss - no matter that he spoke strangely and had this...air about him. It reminded Andy of a kid he'd known back in high school...which, actually was pretty dubious as a compliment. Ah well. I figured I'd be on the front lines. Best place to be.He watched some of the 'kouhai' fodder seeking out help and glanced sidewise at his brother. Yeah, he would get trained by Jordan sometime, but...for this? At first? Probably not the best, so when Peyton offered to let him tag along he accepted enthusiastically. "Thanks Peyton, that'd be great." He then peered at the other new trainee curiously. "Hi Mimi, I'm Andy. I guess we'll be relying on each other for a bit."

Kimberly's lips twitched a bit as the trainer finally said he would take her on a mission or something. She nodded at his stern and somewhat annoyed voice. "Good. Here is my number for my phone make sure you call me." She was a bit surprised as someone else came and and said hello to Otto. Oh that is his name... guess I should have paid attention... whatever.Chinthliss sighed in her mind. And you actually wonder why people think you are a spazz? You pay no attention and jump to action without thinking.As if to prove the point. Kimberly looked at the boy who spoke to her suddenly, wondering why he was hugging Otto. She then smirked as he said he wanted the marble in the bottle he was holding. She wondered if he wanted the drink too, but shrugged mentally before holding out her hand. "Yeah I can get it for you." She would just smash the bottle. Belatedly she realized she should introduce herself. "Oh, I am Kimberly.. I'm new here.. I guess." She shrugged a bit and reached into her pocket, pulling out some gum and popping a piece into her mouth. "So what is up with all the weird Japanese stuff going on. Is this freakin' place in Japan or somethin?" Bittiface Merry Sunshine can meet Smiles and Rainbows. Meegane Poor Ace, he seems to have found the happy group.

Chance was definitely trying to hide a smile as he eased himself to his feet, eyes flickering with amusement as he caught sight of Otto's displeased expression. He brushed grass from his jeans and meandered casually over to the same guy that the woman in the bunny mask had gravitated towards.
"Hey," he said lightly, smiling as he stuck out a hand. "You're Jordan, right? I think I've talked to you a few times on Twitter. I'm Chance. Don't suppose it would be all right if I also included myself in learning from your expertise, would it?"

I am confident I would learn either way, though I am equally confident I do not match your current skills if you were chosen as one of the mentors, so fighting with you would probably end quickly in your favor." Chance moved to join in with them, and instead of introducing herself, Ana used him. "I can fight him, if you want." Hello Chance. Ana's greeting to you was that she wanted to go punch and shoot you a few times. What a charmer.
