Matthias had to roll off, the third straight jarring shot to the back of his neck. He was grimmacing on the mat, unable to capitalize as he rubbed his neck, slowly standing up.

Hedro remained on his back for a long amount of time. A bit of time after Landry was able to stand up, Hedro managed to push and stagger his way back to his feet, having a hard time staying standing.

Jamie's inability to recover the same way Matthias did gave him the chance to catch his second wind. He was ready to go, so when Jamie stood, he rushed him with a stiff clothesline, and, if it connected, he'd wait for him to stand back ip to hit him with a second one, increasing the pace, trying to bring back the energy in the building.

Hedro was up and took the clothesline, right in the chest! Falling down, Hedro needed a couple of seconds to roll to his knees, and push himself up to his feet. However once he was standing, the second clothesline game, this one twice as strong, right across the throat! This time Hedro fell to the back of his head, and flipped towards his stomach! The crowd was warming up again, as Landry was starting up the pace!

Matthias was getting fired up, as was the crowd, and Matthias sizes up his opponent. Once Jamie stood, Matthias decided to go back to the well, attempting his headscissors-shooting star combo, hoping for a high impact attack to secure an advantage.

Hedro rolled his way back to his feet, but then he had his head trapped, and was spun around and sent down to the mat back first! Completely disoriented and his back and neck killing him, he was a total victim to the Standing Shooting Star Press! The weight of Landry, plus the additional flip making more of an impact crashing down onto the sternum area of Jamie Hedro!

This was Matthias' chance to capitalize! He hooked the leg, holding down the left arm, looking for the pin!

The ref went down to count!
1!....2!...
Right before the ref hit three Hedro just got his shoulder up! To which he went back down, the energy he had used up on the kick out.

The audience thought it was over right there, but it was not to be, at least not yet. Matthias stood, refocusing on his target. He stalked Jamie, raising his arms, spreading them out wide, to straight over his head, looking and pointing up, before pointing at Jamie, waiting for him to stand so he can finish this.

Hedro was slow to get to his feet again. Once he finally made it to his feet, he stumbled towards Landry, barely able to defend himself!

Matthias would aim a kick to Jamie's midsection to double him over so he could attempt to place his head between his legs and lift him up in position for his version of the Styles Clash, which he called the Phoenix Down! If it worked, instead of rolling over in to the pin, he'd instead slide his feet behind Jamie's neck, already under his arms to secure a sort of full nelson, before pulling back on both legs in a modified boston crab. The full submission his dad used to call the Scorpion Deathtrap, but he simply liked to call Cloud of Ash!

Jamie was kicked in the stomach, lifted upside down so that Matthias was able to position him and drop him stomach first to the mat. Suddenly Hedro felt his arms being pulled back, as well as his legs!
The crowd let out a mixture of "Ooooo's" and straight up cheering. Hedro was pulled, his back, his shoulder's, and his arms hurting from the pressure. The only thing Hedro was able to do was nod his head and give a rare verbal submission, awarding Landry the victory!

Matthias released his opponent from the submission, standing and raising his hands in victory. Tonight was big. He had proved that he not only has the skill to be here, but now he had an opportunity at his first Championship ever. His music hit and he celebrated with his fans as he left up the ramp. He gave them a show, but he knew he could do better. He would do better.
