Now he choses to call her a slave...in front of everyone. Lovely. "Not for your own good. For my good." Aurora reiterated, because if it meant her freedom, he could go to hell...well, he probably visited there on a regular basis, but he could go right ahead and die. Which probably meant that this very moment would have been a rather good escape plan. 'Damn it. That wasn't smart. Well, he's showing no signs of stopping. Tomorrow will likely bring about the same thing, and then I won't be out here to put a foot on his chest and tell him to stop. He'll be so absorbed in all this I'll take off on my own.'
The whispers grew louder behind them and Aurora just rolled her eyes. The response from the master under her foot was not so expected. While they all ran off, minus the loving maid, Aurora looked back down at him and asked, "Do you make it a point to lie to your staff often?" Aurora hadn't meant to be useful in any way, for it meant that she had served some sort of purpose, which was not something she liked doing for a new master early on, unless it was by her own terms.
Arms grossed as the last few left on their way, Aurora looked down when he tapped her foot, waited a moment, then lifted it off. Seeing as this was her first time seeing the backyard, from this angle at least, instead of from the balcony, Aurora turned away from her master to take it in. It was just them now, and all the targets. He spoke of stamina, and again, had she cared, Aurora might have mentioned that he had exerted himself a bit before hand, and that it was only what was left in the tank to be used. When he patted he grass she gave a little huff, "Not really a fan of the sun. Especially not when wearing all black."

Sason shrugged and continued to lay there, basking in the warmth of the sun. All the while he was looking over the events of today and realizing not a single thing had gone right. First he seemed like a p***y when it came to bringing her to the estate as well as with his brother, and when he tried to make up for that he came off as an a** hole. How could anything get worse? Only possible thing he could imagine that could make all of this worse would be his brother showing up when he had absolutely nothing in his tank. Groaning as he got to his feet, Sason realized using that much magic so soon put a massive strain on his body and it felt like he'd been ran over, twice. Once on his feet he looked to Aurora "I don't always lie to my staff, only tell them what they need to know, it keeps then out of my world and out of danger, for the most part" he says as he limps towards the house "I am going to go lay down and call it a day, you are free to roam the estate ajd do what you please within its grounds, but cross it's threshold and I'll know in an instant" he finishes with almost the promise of a chase should she try to leave while he's asleep. Sason moved as quick as he could to his four pillar king sized bed and the moment he was in it, he was out. As he slept he couldn't help but remember the night his wife died and the horrors Kahl could bring should he chose to fight here at the estate. However as he slept he began to calm down for the first time in decades. He finally had a peaceful night sleep once the stubborn harshness of Aurora telling him to essentially man up popped into his dreams, a short laugh and he was out for the count

Watching him struggle to his feet, she knew it wasn't to try and launch more fire. He was giving in at least for now. He didn't deny lying to the staff, though tried to spin it to sound like he didn't do it often. Still, Aurora thought he'd have to twist things quite a bit to make her seem helpful in the short time she had been here. With such words though, came a dismissal of himself for bed and res, but also a warning as to where her boundaries lay. Was it a farce? Or would he actually know if she crossed a line in comparison to anyone else. The others could leave, how would he know if she did? Especially with how weak he was. No doubt with a little bit of time after he climbed into bed he would hit rem sleep and what could wake him then?
Aurora wasn't sure thought, as she wouldn't put it past him to be able to know. Still, he was burnt out, in both ways of the meaning, he would have to outrun her, and use brute force. Saying nothing when he walked off Aurora took a little time to finish exploring the backyard, then rounded back out to the front, standing in the driveway before coming back in the front door and heading back up to her room. While in the hallways she stopped, and looked down at the double doors which he lay behind. It was quiet in the hall, and in her room as she entered, shutting the door tight behind her. Before sitting in the window seat she grabbed one of the books she had borrowed from the library to busy herself with.
With each page the sun lowered itself across the sky, darkening the world outside, and limiting her light source. Despite his warning Aurora felt that she owed it to herself to try. There was nothing for her here anyway but a master with a temper. Setting the book down she opened the window and, just as easily as she had from the balcony earlier, jumped out and took off. This way none of the other staff should have spotted her, and Aurora could test just if there was some special line that wasn't to be crossed. Could she play stupid if she were to get caught? 'Just out for an early night jog, didn't realize I'd gone that far, just exploring and I got lost.' Or just maybe she wouldn't get caught at all. And all of the failed attempts to leave would finally pay off as practice for this very moment.

The moment Aurora crossed the threshold, Sason woke. A couple years ago he placed wards all around the estate that told him when anyone left, it was how he knew if his staff was out causing to much mischief, as well as slaves trying their luck at running away while he slept. Sason took a leisurely walk towards where his ward had been tripped. Seeing footprints in the area made him chuckle "seems she just had to try." Sason began to jog in the direction of the foot prints, course a jog to him was like a marathon sprint to humans. Sason had no problems keeping up his speed due to the bit of rest he got earlier. It gave him enough energy to at the very least track down his little run away. Sason began to hear the actual sounds of foot prints and sped up. That was when he saw Aurora still trying to run from the estate. Instead of tackling or incapacitating her like most masters would do to a runaway, he simply cut her off. Leaning against a tall willow tree, his eyes glowed red as burning embers. "Next time you try and run from here, do it when I can't move at all. I'm sure you know this but demon blood heals and regenerates faster than normal. As a fire demon, heat speeds that up even more." He said calmly yet irritated, and impressed all at the same time. His warning was given simply to see if she'd try his bluff, and he wasn't surprised that she did. After all he could sense what felt like cold contempt towards him when he was around her. Almost like sued feed him to Kahls sword simply to have a chance to escape?

Her shoes weren't really made to run in, which caused some problems with her escape. Once or twice she stumbled over what could have been anything, but was probably a root. Both times she caught herself before landing face down on the ground. There had probably been sneakers somewhere in the house, one of the maids should have been about Aurora's size. If only she had thought to steal herself a pair. Her hair also caught a couple of low hanging branches along the way. She never looked behind her, just knew she needed to get as far as possible, as fast as possible.
Then a few feet ahead of her, a blur came out to rest against a tall tree, bringing her to a stop. Either he had been watching her, or he hadn't been lying about the perimeter, and his rem sleep wasn't enough to miss either of those. His red eyes gave him away, not that she believed he was trying to hide it from her. "Next time?" Aurora questioned, as though there were no doubt in his mind she would try again. Which she probably would if given the chance, though now that she knew there really was a perimeter there would have to be planning to consider around that.

Sason walked past her and motioned for her to follow "care to join me for a drink?" He said casuakly, despite contimplating a punishment for her escape. Course he might let her off this time since he did kind if challenge her to do it. Sason looked over her shoulder to make sure she was following, and he really hoped she was, he was not in the mood for another chase, and this time if he had to, he'd show off his other powers to get a point across. Sason reached the edge of his wards and checked the spell to see if it was still functioning. After making sure that it was, he made his way into the estate and straight for his personal liquor bar, seriously craving a drink

She did not turn as he walked by and asked about a drink. Tight lipped she looked at where she had been going while he went the opposite way back to the manor. After her attempted run he expected her to turn back and follow, just like she had all day, without question. This was worse than being pulled to the ground, worse than being thrown over a shoulder because then at least she could go back kicking and screaming. His casual order to follow was a sign of her giving up, of defeat. To turn around and hang her head, as though the mention of a drink was supposed to bring her running. And for what? So they could talk some more? So they could get to know each other?
Aurora couldn't do it. Couldn't give in so easily. There was no doubt that she would be going back. Were she to run again he would catch up once more. Her head start might not have been much but it was more than what she had now between them. Instead she sat down right there by the tree where she had been stopped. The night breeze brushed across her skin, the cold grass bit at her through her tights. She wasn't running further away, but she wasn't budging any closer to the manor either.

After getting as far as past the wards , Sason was not too surprised to not hear her following him. Turning around he made his way back to where he stopped her only to see her sitting there "why if I never, you are the most stubborn person I've met in a long time" he said with little humor. Starting to get tired of this game he wasted no time in tossing her over his shoulder and carrying her back by force. She was lucky he found her highly interesting or he would have shackled and dragged her back to the estate. With Aurora over his shoulder he carried her to her room, set her on the bed and walked out, door locking behind him. And before she attempted another window jump, dark metal bars formed over the windows. As he walked away he spoke loud enough for her to hear "maybe this'll show I'm not about to be walked over any time soon" he said with a calm yet authoritative voice as he made his way to the bar for a much needed drink

He had been giving her a pretty good benefit of the doubt distance before coming back for her. "You haven't looked in the mirror recently have you?" Was her response before he hoisted her into the air. "Hey...What are you doing!" She came down on his shoulder, his arm around her, and they were moving. Her good hand came down against his back, not terribly hard, but well enough. "What the hell?!" And so this continued. She struggled, but he was unmoving, she yelled, and he greeted her with silence. By the time they got back to the manor she had mostly stopped with the squirming, it only made things more uncomfortable, and the skirt of her dress had to already be up high enough to show off quite a bit of her backside.
Straight to her room they went, and she was plopped down among her sheets with nothing more than that. As he was walking out Aurora pulled off a shoe she threw it at him right as he shut the door. It hit the wood with a thud and fell to the floor. Hearing the click of the look brought her to her feet, after all she hadn't gone out that way in the first place. Turning to look at the window she noticed something new there that hadn't been there a second ago. Opening her window Aurora reached for the bars as he spoke, the metal was cold beneath her touch, and would not budge. When had he had the time to do such a thing? Shaking the bar once more she grunted in frustration and gave up. Sitting back down on the window seat she pulled her other shoe off and picked up her feet with a sigh. She wasn't going anywhere...at least not tonight.
Aurora stayed near the window for a while, then walked around the room a little bit, then finally went to the bed. She wasn't about to sleep in her dirty clothing, and she hadn't found anything in the room. So Aurora stepped out of the tights, and pulled the dress over her head, semi folding them and leaving them on the little bench at the end of her bed before climbing under the sheets and finally giving in.

After his episode with his little runaway, he was exhausted once again, now both mentally and physically. And so he sat at his personal bar while the bartender get making him strawberry daiquiris, not a very manly drink but it was his favorite at times like this. More and more we're drank and still Sason was as sober as ever. This was the downside to being immortal, no matter how much he drank hell never get drunk. Still, for Aurora to hate him still left a heavy mark on his heart, even a demon of rage feels pain like that. For him to have to use the magic that allows him to become a human forge to essentially make her a prisoner made him feel terrible, it embraced his cold hearted demon side that he wanted to keep suppressed. Course maybe this will make her respect him. Either way things need to change soon before he goes insane. Getting up for bed he brought up a change of clothes for her. Unlocking the door to her room just long enough to put in a new dress, leggings and shoes for her before shutting the door again and deciding to leave the door unlocked for the night as he went to bed himself

In the unfamiliar bed she slept. Aurora was used to sleeping in places that she didn't know. Heck, she could get creative if she didn't even have a bed. At times when she was forced to sleep in masters rooms because they thought at some point she would give in and join them in their bed, she slept on hardwood floors instead. Her arms were pillows, a coat a blanket. The part that was strange, was waking up. When a person moved around so much, they had to remind themselves where it was they had most recently ended up.
Well after the sun had risen Aurora roused. She was the complete opposite of a morning person. In fact life would be better if she could skip right to lunch. With a groan she pushed herself up with her good hand and looked around the room. After a moment she remembered where she was, and who she was with. Shoving her hair from her face, Aurora noticed something by the door, and it wasn't the shoe she had thrown the night before. Sitting there, right inside the doorway was a pile of clothing. Pulling the sheets away she went over to the articles to examine them. They were close enough to what she had been wearing, but with less flounce and tool to the dress.
In the adjoined bathroom she stepped into the shower, letting the water roll over her, washing her of yesterday's activities, and her sleepiness. Once out she dressed, and combed her hair, her left hand getting stronger in the activities, but still rather sloppy in it's work. Back on the bed she unwrapped her hand, careful in the places the gauze was a bit stuck. Her skin was still red, though the swelling and pain had gone down. By the end of the day it would probably be near back to normal; thankfully she had pulled away before committing any real damage. Aurora stayed in her room, not trying the door for she still thought it locked.

Sason woke to the sound of Auroras shower, after changing into a red dress shirt and black slacks he walked past her door "it's unlocked come down for breakfast" he called as he made his way to the stairs. He hoped today would be a bit more manageable. If nothing else, he was at full strength for more target practice. Either way he'd have to figure out after some food. Course another issue was his estates newest resident, course if it wasn't for his wards, she'd have been long gone last night. This also meant he'd have to strengthen their spell so nothing gets out without his approval."such a pain" he sighed sitting down and ordering a hearty Chicago style omelet from the chef which he was happy to provide, along with Sasons morning bottle of vintage wine from his personal storeage

Looking at the door as her masters voice passed through it her eyebrows knit together for a moment. It had been open the whole time? Perhaps with the dropping off of clothing, he left it open after that. 'Well damn.' Not quite sure what the day would hold, Aurora wrapped her hand back in the gauze and slid on her shoes before leaving to find her way to the kitchen.
Once inside she wondered over to take a seat, the same chef from yesterday was busy cooking, but took time to look over his shoulder and ask, "What'll it be?"
Word had to have gotten around that she was a slave after it had been announced while she stood on the master of the house. Aurora couldn't remember if the cook had been out in the crowd or not, but in a place like this where the walls had ears, he had to of heard. "Huh?"
"Breakfast. Aren't you hungry?" He questioned, as though everyone should want food right when they woke up.
"Uh..." It had been a while since anyone asked her what she wanted to eat, let alone was going to make it for her. Glancing at her master then back at the cook she tried to think about what she liked. Since mornings weren't really her thing, breakfast food wasn't something she consumed often, "...Eggs, and toast."
"That is?" He was tending to an omelet but looked back at her a little puzzled by the simple request.
"Bacon?"
"There you go." And with that he started up another pan to get her stuff going as well.

Sason couldn't help but chuckle, seeing her caught off guard like that "you know, I may be a confusing a** some times, but we're like family here and that's more then I can say about any shop that'd catch you if you left, so at least try to get used to things here, or keep trying to escape and keep getting locked in your room when I catch you" he says with a shrug as he pours himself a glass of wine and grabs a second "want some?" He asks holding the empty glass her way. Despite his hospitality being taken advantage of last night, he was still so chipper with her. He had a belief that anyone can be forgiven depending on the offense, however there are still some who can never be forgiven. The chef had finally finished their dishes ajd set them infront of their intended consumers. Unlike yesterday, Sason took his time enjoying his breakfast and wine. As odd a** it may sound he added Salsa to his omelet and happily ate it alongside the smooth flavor of his wine. This was Sasons usual morning

His laugh caught her attention and Aurora turned to level her gaze his way. From the corner of her eye she caught the cook stop for a second when speak of her escape was raised, but regardless it was her turn to laugh. "Family...You say that like you don't know first hand how dysfunctional they are." He was reaching for wine glasses, and holding one out to her. "Starting early aren't you?" But she nodded regardless of her words. Aurora was half human, meaning she could still get drunk, it took a little more, but the tipsy feeling came and it still led to drunkenness if she allowed it.
The wine fell from the bottle smoothly into the glass, and when it was pushed her way, she lifted the cup to her lips for a sip. The food came shortly after, and Aurora wondered if by the way he was acting, being locked in her room was the punishment she would face for last nights run. Her egg was placed atop her toast, the bacon a small pile to the side. All foods easy to eat with just one hand and no utensils. Aurora nibbled on her food, switching from bites of bacon to toast and egg, periodically washing it down with the wine. She paid little attention to her masters food, and eating habits, perhaps she had been a little more hungry than she initially realized.
