Asomi blinked as higure walked in to the room, was god doing some divine intervention here? What luck it would be that the little genin would arrive now as she was talking about him. "Ah, here he is now," she started, her voice muffled a little from her clenching the guitar pick between her teeth. "Mashiro, you will be looking after and training Higure. He needs a strong figure to give him a backbone, and you're just the person. After you return from your mission, you will meet up with him and start training him. As for your mission... the male has silver hair and gray eyes, he also wears around a cloak. It shouldn't be hard to find him, but he's slippery. Don't let him out of your sight." She took the guitar pick out of her mouth as another genin walked in, sliding her guitar pick in between the strings of the instrument.
She looked at the mouse as it bowed to her; she needed three headbands then. She rummaged through the drawer, keeping her urge to smash the small rodents to herself, before taking out and handing the mouse three headbands. "Here you go." She looked up at the girl in bright orange at the door, their partner. "Hoshi Takamatsu I'm guessing then, I don't know anyone else who works with mice. Welcome to the ranks of Konohagakure shinobi, you should be proud to call yourself a ninja here." She set her hands on her hips, the guitar handing from her from it's strap. She had been planning to practice her guitar skills a little but it seemed she wouldn't be able to now.

Athos the mouse accepted the headband and wore the thing as a plate belt. Hoshi wrapped hers around her throat and ricard did the same belt idea that. "Thank you ma'am. It is obvious to me that you dont exactly like my kind...yet. Therefore I shall be on my way. Hoshi, let us take our leave if you please." Athos said aloud and hopped nimbly off the desk and back onto her shoulder. Hoshi nodded. "Thank you ma'am. We will get to our training." She said and moved rather briskly out of the room. '

Higure Shinsetsu "W-what do you mean?" | Genin | Konohagakure | Higure of the Leaves | 380/380 | Shinsetsu Clan | Sealer | Sensor | Suiton | Fuuton | Higure gasped a bit when the Hokage told them both that Mashiro would be Higure's teacher from now on. "Wh-what? N-no, I-i-i don't need a teacher!" He said, panic creeping into his voice. He was shy, yes, but his main issue was whom his teacher was.

The annoyance was to be his apprentice? If it were anyone but the Hokage, Mashiro would immediately object. The boy however, Higure as she called him, did speak up. "Surely you aren't questioning the Hokage, child? I don't like this any more than you do, but orders are orders. I'd suggest after you finish here you train for a spell, as once I'm done with my mission you and I will be having a nice chat." Mashiro put emphasis on chat, giving the impression that it will be more than just talking. Turning to the Hokage, he threw up some signs, and transformed into someone who looked more like a civilian, dressed in clothes that might make him look more like a miner or a blacksmith. On his back he would wear a backpack with various tools hanging from it, ranging anywhere from a lantern to a sleeping roll. "I understand, M'lady. I will be discreet in my actions." Mashiro then pivoted, and passed Higure, the sounds of tools rattling as he walked sounding his egress.

Suterusu Hokou [ Stealth Walk ] :: Mashiro has grown accustomed to moving silently so normal movements have become quiet making him almost hard to notice when he moves in action. Kaneko decided it was about time to get a small mission, maybe see if she assigned him a squad either. He made sure no one else was talking to her first before knocking on the door very quietly then opening it."H-Hokage...ma'am? I was wondering if...if it isnt too much of a bother, but can i have a mission?"He asked, not looking straight at her as she was intimidating and tall.
A soft padding of skin upon wood slowly filled the stairway to the office followed quickly by an odd silence. Then again they filled the air slightly louder this time until the padding came from right outside the office door. However instead of knocking on the door a red and white haired male with foxes ears. That alone wasnt the extent of his abnormality though as two clearly dyed red and white striped tails poked out next to him. Making his way into the office the kitsune folded his arms in front of him with a smile as he waited his turn to address the kage. He was certain that she had seen his file already and could probably guess why he was there.

A slender figure had been standing outside the doorway, leaning against the door's frame upon noticing the flock of individuals surrounding the hokage like pests. How bothersome, and all she wanted was to pick up her headband. Maybe she should have come a little earlier, though it probably wouldn't have mattered. The hokage was always occupied and bothered by countless requests and people. Why anyone would want such a tedious position was beyond Mai; one thing was certain was that in order to get on the path to becoming a sanin, she first had to start off like everyone else. As a genin. Letting out a soft sigh, the quiet girl entered and took her place in line. Making a paper crane in the mean time to pass the time until it was her turn to speak to the hokage.
“One....two....three....four...”
She counted to herself, gently tucking each fold accordingly so the crane would start to take its shape. Her amber eyes not once blinking as she worked her magic.

Suddenly a large puff of smoke would appear behind the Hokage's desk, Standing there as the smoke cleared was a tall, lean man with a slightly crazed look in his eyes. "Lady Hokage is... indisposed, at the moment, she asked me to handle business for the time being." Scanning over the room, he took quick mental note of who was there, then walked over to the files and rifled through, checking the files to see who was where. Once he was done, he waled back over to the desk, leaning on it as he looked at everyone, "Hakuzo, Mai...I'm assuming you two are here to get your headbands, correct? He then reached into the drawer and pulled two out, placing them on the far edge of the desk, closest to the genin, "There you go."
Looking to the third genin, the man nodded, "Kaneko Daishi,.. you've been assigned Mashiro Kiyome as a sensei, please report to him to get to know your squad." He'd then turn back to the other two, "Hakuzo, Maianami, you'll both be assigned to Viktor Frankenschtein's team, report to him to begin your training."

Noticing the new arrival and his announcement regarding their reason for being there, Mai remained still. Eying the man with questioning eyes until she noticed him set her red headband on the table and announce who her teacher was. From his tone, he had not just been speaking to her but to another. Following his gaze, she looked to the side to spot a red and white headed boy who she assumed to be Hazuko. So this was her teammate? She only stared for a half second before walking over to the desk and taking the headband. Wrapping around her waist, she turned around and walked out the door with no time to waste. Mai was very interested in meeting her teacher and the rest of her team.
Haku recoiled back quickly as the man appeared, as he moved away his tails spread to each side to balance him. Though just as swiftly he relaxed and listened to the mans words before glancing to the girl who glanced at him. So she would be one of the ones he would be fighting alongside, interesting. When the man set his headband down he walked over to the desk and strapped it to around his hip and ensured it would not interfere with his tails before turning and following the woman out of the building. He would head to the academy first. Hopefully he would find them there.

The young boy walked through the front doors and up the stairs finally reaching the doors to the Hokage's office. The boy wore a green hoodie that was unzipped and only a black netting shirt under it, his black pants had a wrap around his right upper leg, over his hands and feet were wraps similar to the one on his leg, and on his feet were black and green sandals. Walking up to the door with a toothpick in his mouth he knocked on the door he seen a few others leaving when he was arriving, he figured either everyone left the office or most of them did and there were still others there. 'Why is there always so many people, if I could just deal with the Hokage get my missions and do them at my own pace things would be so much better. Oh well, I guess sooner or later I am going to have to deal with people anyways.' He thought as he waited for the Hokage to open the door, he yawned and leaned against the wall across from the doors. He had just woke up but he already wanted to take a nap, the more he slept the less he had to deal with everything and everyone. Nico ran along the roads of Konoha. Setzeru would catch up with him later. He was currently recovering from some hard training they had been doing over the past few days. Nico was too excited to sleep though. Now was the time. He was out of the academy and onto the real training. He was a genin now. Now was the time to shine and show everyone what he could do. He wanted to make sure everyone in the village and across all 5 nations knew the name of Nicholas Aburame.
As Nico was running along the street, he was weaving in and out of the people traffic. He had a huge grin spread across his face. But he skid to a halt once he reached his destination. He was breathing a bit hard and took a few moments to catch his breath. He was here though, he had finally made it. He was a shinobi standing in front of the large red building that belonged to the most respectable shihnobi in all of Konoha. The Hokage.
Nico opened the doors and ran inside. He took the stairs leading up to the office two at a time. When he got there he saw Shiki. He smiled and slapped Shiki on the back. "Hey! You made it Shiki! I knew you would. I heard the Hokage is on a hiatus currently though. Someone else should be inside. Want to go inside with me?"

I would rather be on a team with you than someone that gets on my nerves. Plus I figure if someone with your talents is on my team I can do a lot less work and let you take the lead." As he spoke his eyes opened, he stood up straight and stretched. "After you Nico." His voice cracking as if he had just woken up, clearing his voice he got ready to enter the office with Nico. 'Nico is very talented, if he is on my team I probably won't need to over exert myself during missions and such. Maybe being on a team could be more beneficial than I had originally thought.'
