If there was anything Jason could be happy about, it was the fact he still had his horse with him, and this allowed him to relax in the saddle and let the horse do all the walking. He was so relaxed that he didn't see the large cobweb in front of him until he felt the sticky substance cover his face. "Mmf!" He struggled, pulling it away from him. "Ack, n-no, I hate spiders!" As if on cue, a spider jumped down in front of Jason. Because it was offended by what Jason had said. How could anyone not love spiders? The spider didn't get to find out, as the apprentice was galloping away. At least he had been nice enough to leave some food... QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 22 YOUR HP: 30

Now that he was far away from the spider and it's web Jason felt a little better, sitting up again and thinking that maybe he could get through the next part without setting off a booby trap and finding the fire beast. The good news was, he could get by without meeting the fire beast. The bad news, his horse pressed down on a booby trap and now Jason was sporting a very interesting hair cut. Climbing up the mountain edge, Jason tugged his horse onwards until they had reached the peak, finding the artifact half buried in the snow. Picking it up, Jason looked it over, intrigued by the intricate bird patterns on the side. In fact, he was pretty sure the patterns looked like eagles. Just like the ones flying for him. Perhaps they were pissed off he was touching their artifact, for Jason screamed as they began to tear at his clothes, peck at his head and just being very annoying and mean. Eventually they flew away, but not without leaving his clothes in tatters. He was not a happy Jason. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 22 YOUR HP: 15

Okay, he didn't want to fight anymore monsters. Having just fought a giant chicken Jason was just gonna stop that for now and just focus on some questing. Because even if he might have to face things here at least he didn't have to fight them. Grabbing his backpack, he went about finding food supplies and once he felt he had enough he was off. Once he was outside he looked around the castle for anything that might attack him, and seeing nothing around except for a big brown bolder, he went onwards. The big brown bolder then moved, it's head looking at the retreating knight and with a single growl, lumbered after him. Jason realized that the bolder was actually a bear, and after being swiped by it's large claws, sped out of there as fast as his horse could carry him. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 28 YOUR HP: 40

Once he had reached the forest, he looked behind to see if the bear was still after him. Realizing it had left him alone he sighed in relief, letting the horse slow down to a trot. With a glance around he shivered at the familiar dark and spooky forest, not liking the place one bit. Even so, he stopped his horse so he could get off and readjust some of his saddle bags, as well as get something to eat. As soon as he had hopped off his horse began to walk away, "HEY! WAIT!" He shouted, but the horse was galloping away leaving him all alone in the dark spooky forest. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 28 YOUR HP: 40

Now that he was on foot, it took Jason twice as long to reach the Labyrinth, leaving him tired and feeling pretty bad about everything when he finally reached it. But at least he would have a easier time not triggering traps, right? He hoped so at least. Keeping his footing light, he walked through the corridors and passageways, trying not to look at the skeletons that lined his path. And then, the ground shook, and Jason was pretty sure..something was behind him. Oh crap. He took one look, saw the large gargantuan beast with it's fiery body and razor sharp claws, and began to run for his life. He was of course screaming, and the one piece of solace he had as he realized he was losing most of his food, was that there was no one here to laugh at how much of a coward he was acting. He kept running for his life up until he had exited the labyrinth and climb up part of the mountain, where he collapsed against the wall and huffed and puffed, his body shaking from the fright he had just experienced. It took a while for him to calm down, and once he had he opened his satchel and grimaced at the meager supplies he had left. "Are you alright young man?" As if Jason couldn't take being frightened anymore, he jumped at the sudden voice. However he soon calmed down when he saw it was just a frail old man in a coat. "O-oh, s-sorry, d-didn't mean to jump like that. T-that was rude of me" "Quite alright. I apologize for startling you." He smiled. "Now, lets do something about your food stocks." Waving his hands, he disappeared in a poof of smoke, but left him with a lot more food to last him. Feeling more relaxed, Jason climbed the rest of the mountain, reached the next artifact piece. This time it was a mantle, and he was amazed by the beauty of the flowers that were displayed on it. Picking up the artifact, he journeyed back to the castle. Why was everything dangerous and horrible and wanting to kill him? Jason wanted to know the answer to this but he was sure he wasn't going to find out. But for now he had a quest to do; obtain the last artifact, and then he would have a full set. But first he had to get said artifact, and he knew it was going to be a royal pain in the a**. It always was. None the less he hoisted himself on his horse with some food supplies, and rode the horse out of Camelot. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 26 YOUR HP: 50

reroll Jason was familiar with many animals. He knew about cats, dogs, horses, birds, foxes, bears, moose, deer, he knew about them. But the big gray animal that loomed in front of him, a strange long tentacle coming out of his face flanked by two large tusks made him squeak in fright, his horse also very nervous at this new thing. The beast took one look at the knight, raised it's tentacle to make a very loud trumpeting sound, then charged for Jason. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!" He cried out as the horse ran for it's life. Once the roaring sounds of the huge gray beast where behind him, Jason jumped off his horse and decided to take a short break, Resting by the side of a tree and eating some of his food rations. And for the creepiness and darkness around him, he found it almost enjoyable. The almost soon changed into 'god no I hate this why does this happen to me', when he felt his stomach clench in pain.
