QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 26 YOUR HP: 30 One would think that a knight would start to grow tired of long frivolous quests for armor pieces that only have physical appearance value to them. But they would be quite right if they said that about Haze. The look on his face was filled with 'joy' and 'excitement' as he packed his food bag once more. Just sitting there as if a cloud was looming over his head and a stick was up his bum. Quite uncomfortable. Oh well at least he wouldn't have to suffer from fiery bowel movements of doom. Lest he pray. This time around the young man decided to carry all of his food on his own. Letting his steeds rest in the stable. A decision he may start to regret as the pack on his back would start to weigh him down. Looking up he finished fastening the laces on his boots and stood up. Making sure to use his legs when standing so he wouldn't throw out his back carrying so much weight. That would be a very short lived adventure indeed.

QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 26 YOUR HP: 20 The sun had started to hang high in the sky, though an eerie darkness still laced its way in the air. Bringing Haze's eyes immediately upright. Staring straight ahead, the young man got uneasy. Something was following him. He was sure of it. But the white haired male didn't want to give away his suspicion just yet. Keeping his back straight and his arms swinging on either side of him he continued on down the path. Occasionally looking behind him for any signs of the unnatural. Just as he turned his head an inconspicuous shadow would vanish. Sending sparks and chills against his skin, his hair raising on end. What exactly was out there? Should he be alarmed? Maybe it was something harmless. This was a rather tame part of the adventure after all. Shaking his head Haze decided to keep moving forward. His lips occasionally pressing closely against one another, causing them to turn white in anticipation. The anxiety he was giving himself would soon make him keel over if he didn't do something about it. And so, taking in a sharp breath Haze suddenly turned around. Holding his hands up and out as if he was going to punch someone behind him. But his fist was met by air. Opening his eyes wider the man looked left and right, seeing no one there. Maybe he really was just imagining things. Shrugging his shoulders a little bit more at ease he would look down. Seeing a very large, white ball of... fur? "What the..." he trailed off, crouching down a little to see what kind of thing was in front of him. It was then he noticed a cute little pink nose sticking out of the fur as well as some buck teeth. "Are you... a rabbit?" he asked. Thinking of how utterly adorable the little fuwa fuwa ball looked. It couldn't possibly hurt him. The man was worried for no reason at all. That was the first mistake he made. Relaxing his body, muscles soon loosening up, Haze reached his hand forward. His fingers spreading out towards the fluff in order to try to pet it. At first the fur felt unbelievably soft. The rabbit unmoving at all, not even a twitch of its nose. Could it be scared to death of him? He would certainly hope not "There there little bunny, I'm not going to hurt you" he would try and say reassuringly. Was he really that scary looking? His palm continued to rub against the incredibly fluffy fur. There was no end to it, none. The rabbit's fluff was practically half the size of him. The cuteness started to bring a smile to Haze's face, which was rare for someone who didn't often want to show emotion. Immediately as he showed his pearly whites in a smile something snapped. A sharp pain running through his body suddenly. Heat raising to his face and then draining from it faster than he could think. Why was he feeling so sick to his stomach now? There was no reason to feel faint. Haze had eaten enough food so far and he wasn't injured. And then he saw it. Looking down at his hand that had been petting the fluff ball he saw a crimson red shade dripping from his fingers. Sharp bucked teeth digging against his flesh, almost boring all the way through the skin. Rabid, deathly looking eyes peered through the wall of fur that Haze was previously petting. "Well.. thats lovely" he would say as he bit back a loud whaling girlish scream. Flailing his arms about as he shot up, his legs feeling weak. But there was no time he needed to get away from that... thing. For someone who fought dragons, darkness, and practically death itself... the look that rabbit gave him was enough to send him running for the hills. Result You encounter a wild Angora Rabbit that is extremely rabid and ferocious. It blocks the path and attacks you! (-10 HP) // 30 - 10 = 20 HP

QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 36 YOUR HP: 20 Haze seemed completely pale, the look of the Angora Rabbit still burned into his mind. What exactly did he see in that rabbit's eyes? One may never want to find out. The boy only just barely was able to notice the little bit of food that was left on the ground, very carefully picking it up off of the ground... he didn't want to get his fingers practically get bit off by a loaf of bread now too. Result Someone seems to have left food on the road for you! How nice! (+10 Food) // 26 + 10 = 36 Food

QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 32 YOUR HP: 15 The axes were nothing compared to the rabbit beast, at least they didn't lull you into a false sense of security, cuteness and happiness and then rip it all away from you leaving you mentally scared for life. Result You accidentally step on a booby trap as giant axes start swinging at you! (-5 HP) // 20 - 5 = 15 HP

QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 42 YOUR HP: 15 After being brutally betrayed by a rabbit, given suspicious loafs of bread, and rolling in his grave through battle axes Haze finally made it to the top of the mountain. And as he climbed that last stretch he would heave himself up. Seeing that familiar long beard, those familiar wrinkles... and that familiar wizard. "I'm out.. I'm done.. you can keep the artifact" Haze would say. Turning himself around and preparing to jump off the cliff to get back to his starting point of he had to. Luckily Gandalf was kind enough to stop him mid way and teleport him back down to safety. Haze looking like the grumpiest cat on earth. He was so done. Result An old man claiming to be a wizard hands you some food. Thanks, you guess? (+10 Food) (+1 Artifact) // 32 + 10 = 42 Food
