Not to say that I hate the manga or the anime, I have the two first volumes and I've watched the anime.. But whenever it gets a little romantic Shuichi acts like a total retard scream
I'm a WAFF and hardcore yaoi lover D< And the original gravitation really has neither D:
But the remix... *Dreamy expression*

I read it and liked some parts but not others. I didn't like the parts where Yuki was a jerk and some times Shuichi(sp) was way to weird. sweatdrop

LoL. I own too many Gravitation stuff XD
all the manga, both novels, all the anime and OVA, soundtracks, a Kumagorou plushie, Shuichi costume (yes, I cosplayed Shuichi even ) and other stuff XD
I REALLY loved the megamix though, so very hott...and the remixes are so lovely XD
-I love the one where Hiro and Sakano came back to the studio and see Shuichi and Yuki at it and they were like 'omg! he's huge!'...man, I laughed so hard...

I love Gravitation! It was one of the reasons I started getting into shounen ai and yaoi. Plus, it's really funny! xd

I couldn't get into it. It was cute and funny but Eiri and Shuichi just annoyed me too much for me to want them to be a couple.

I like Gravi and all (I mean, I have it on my sig. sweatdrop )... But it gets REALLY annoying REALLY fast. I only picked it up to see what this Ryu-chan my friend was ranting on was about. So I got sucked in and bought the first... eh, 8? volumes in about three months. Total overload. (I ended up a total Ryuichi follower.)
I got bored with the "EIRI YUKI IS MY LIIIIIIIIIIIIIFEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! DON'T TALK BAD ABOUT HIM!!!!!!!" and the "Screw you, I'm in love with a dead guy who tried to rape me". TOO MUCH DRAMA! dramallama
Lately I started buying the rest of the volumes to see how it ended, and to actually FINISH the series. (I bought the Best Collection soundtrack because I love that kind of music, dispite my semi-dislike for the series)
I have a question that was kinda answered in previous posts. What in the world is Gravitation Ex? (I'm not bothering with the anime, this is a manga version of Remix, I think......???? confused )

Moro-moro I have a question that was kinda answered in previous posts. What in the world is Gravitation Ex? (I'm not bothering with the anime, this is a manga version of Remix, I think......???? confused ) If you check out the News Flash subforum, you'll find a thread all about the new series, with a official information and the such. From my understanding there will be kissing, Shuichi shota and some baby. Oh and tons and tons of wangst.

I don't think Gravitation is the gateway anime. I think the creators were just the first ones brave enough to put it into anime form. I've seen all the episodes excet the remix and I've just started the manga and I must say I liek the manga way better. The way they made Shuichi look in the anine is sooo much dorkier than how he looks in the manga!!! I like him better in the manga but I like Yuki better in the anime.

Gravi wasn't the first BL story to be made into an anime. There wasn't anything really brave about its becoming an anime. Kizuna, Zetsuai/Bronze, and quite a few others precede Gravitation in the BL manga-turned-anime front. I think what the creator of this thread meant by "Gateway" was that most BL fan's first experience with BL is Gravi. Also the remix is a doujinshi. It's not animated. Gravi does have a OVA aside from the 13 ep series.

Gravitation EX is the sequal to the Gravitation story.
I started reading Gravi when it first came out and loved the story for it, though I kind of watched the anime with my hands over my eyes (it was kind of bad... and the english dub is so much worse than some others... *coughnarutocough*).
Though the gods of manga seemed to hate me, cause when the 12th volume came out I couldn't find it anywhere... and it wasn't until recently that I even could finish it... Kind of a sucky ending, but EX fixed that.
Also I love the way Maki's art has gone from these little stetches to nice actual lines and shades. It's wonderful to see the art evolve. ^.^
And I will be getting EX when it comes out next month.

I liked Gravitation a lot, personally.
Or, rather, 'like', because our library is refusing to stock volume 8 and Netflix has had volume 3 of the anime on 'unknown release' for about a year. ><
But what was my Gateway? Hmm...
Actually, I believe the first thing that got me interested in it was Ouran High School Host Club- I'm a huge Hitachiin fan. XD
Obviously, it's not a Yaoi or Shounen-Ai, but still....

I love Gravitation. It's totally crack humor but very fun once you get used to blood shooting from every pour at random. ^_^ Beloved by me since it was my first official BL anime and manga.
