My name: Talya My faction: Nightmare Small IC description of character: A sense of nervousness nibbled upon the mare's mind, her stance shifting from hoof to hoof. Despite this, the sensation of excitement also enthralled her, capturing her willingly as she embarked upon a new step and journey upon this chapter of her life. Oracle Scribe: Zempre's Oracle ScribeA shiver ran through her form as she moved slowly through the area, searching for something and yet at the same time not quite sure what -it- was. She had earlier seen a strange spirit, an avian of some sort and at it's beck and call she was thankfully pulled away from the large and boisterous ceremony that was going on within the Sanctuary. Her curiosity was the leash as it lead her into the forest, searching for any clue or perhaps sign that would justify the reasoning she had wandered so away from the celebrations. Coming upon a very, large tree, she canted her head lightly as she examined a rather large hole. Common sense told her to leave it be, that she would most likely disturb a slumbering resident or worse...but once more she was acting on faith both from spotting the fire elements and from her own curiosity and as cautious as she could, she would carefully peer into the hole of the tree.

Peering into the hole would once more confirm her original thought...there was a fox inside and though it ignored her, she did feel a slight twinge of guilt for disturbing it. Though, the mare didn't apologize to the furry creature, she instead stepped back and reassessed her train of thoughts. Was she mad looking for fire spirits alone in the woods?

A sound was heard above her and with a quick glance she looked up to spot a rather overly stuffed owl hooting away at her. Perhaps it was equally annoyed with her examining the large tree as she was at finding herself face to face with a fox in a hole she knew oh to well not to look into. "If you don't want me here, you could help me find the fire spirits..' She commented in a slightly sarcastic tone, knowing very well the owl had no interest to do anything to assist her.

Perhaps this was merely a bad guess upon her part. Maybe she wasn't really suppose to look for a fire spirit. Maybe she never actually saw one and was on a moment of madness? Turning around, she started to head back to the celebrations when she saw something by a stall? It flashed red for a second, she was sure of it and as she approached the cart that sold hoppitywhoppets, she couldn't help but chuckle softly. There, covered in a mixture of powdered sugar and bits of fruit was a fire spirit...albeit this one was shaped like a rat instead of a bird. "Ok...maybe I'm not quite as mad as I thought. Let's see if we can find some more.."

Her confidence risen, the 'corm moved back into the forest, determined now to find the rest of the fire spirits! Moving through the trees, she looked upwards as she heard a sound. Maybe this was the bird one she had seen earlier? Either way, she didn't look long as a flying object would come launching down from the trees above, nailing her in the eye and causing a moment of very unladylike terms to be heard. Glaring up, she spotted the attacker; the Squirrel chattering away as it flicked it's tail in utmost annoyance. "Ow...you could just say move on, not throw items at those you don't know.!" Her eye throbbed lightly where it had been hit, the female lightly rubbing the offended spot upon her leg as she tried to soothe it. Had she never had a hatred for squirrels in the past, she was starting to now.

Once her eye started to cease the painful throb, she looked to the brush just near her. Apparently her plight had captured the attention of another, a small rabbit peering at her before wrinkling it's nose oh so curiously at her. It didn't take long for her to deduce that this was not another fire spirit and by the time she had done so it had already turned tail and ran off. Slowly, and now far more cautious, she began to search again.

Searching, she moved quietly through the forest..trying not to acquire the hateful ire of the squirrel once more. Though apparently she had another 'fan', the owl from earlier having returned as it hooted it's annoyances down upon her. Ears swivel back, she grunted in her annoyance as she decided that tonight was just going to be one of those night.

Another large tree caught her attention and with it another large hole. Earlier lesson told her she should avoid it at all cost!! However, the fire spirits wouldn't surely have lead her here for nothing! Determined to find them, she peered into the hole.

No, she was not surprised when she spotted the slumbering fox that rested inside. Careful not to awaken him, and having no interest to upset another animal of the forest at her, she began to search around once more for anything else to help her find those mischievous spirits!

It would appear that no good deed went unpunished as the squirrel from earlier made itself known with a well aimed acorn. Talya wasn't sure what she would have preferred more...another hit to the same eye or the other. What she did receive was another painful sensation as her eye started to throb once more in complaint. Maybe she had wandered through his nest? Maybe she was the bad one after all? Groaning, she didn't stay here long, moving away quickly from the wrathful squirrel's domain.

In her moment to get away from the angry squirrel, she didn't truly watch where she was going and soon found herself walking straight into a tree. Groaning, she shook her head as she backed up slightly before peering in confusion. This tree...had four doors? Oh, how interesting!! Surely a fire spirit lived in one of these!! Carefully she went to open one of the doors.

The door was opened and nobody was home! Sighing, she looked around to see she was still the only one out in the woods..at least in her area. Maybe the spirits were making fun of her, and that thought actually irked her slightly. Frowning, and trying her best to be positive, she continued to search.

She kept her eyes more towards the brush, not entirely wishing to find another squirrel to pelt her with acorns. Actually, now that she thought about it, maybe the owl and the squirrel had been working together. That thought caused her to shiver slightly in fear. If that was so, she would duck the next time she heard that owl hoot. Her thoughts caused her to stumble slightly as she came face to face with a rabbit and instantly she decided she liked rabbits. They didn't pelt you with random objects. "Have you by chance seen a fire spirit?" She asked the rabbit, but it said nothing as it skittered away.

Apparently it was best she did keep looking down! For she found another tree who's base was filled with another series of four doors! Maybe she had been looking at this wrong. Because of the Avian form, she had been searching up into the branches...but it was clear that maybe the spirits lived closer to the earth. Curiously, she picked a door, hoping to choose the right one this time.

The flash of fire caught her off guard, eyes widening as she stumbled back only to see the small fire spirit was caught trying to get into a bottle of...oh. Well that explained the flash of fire. "Well...two down!" She responded, feeling her mood starting to elevate somewhat.
