"Kay." Otto hesitated by the door, eventually choosing to just wait outside it. His back to the door, and his attention on people passing by. His mind on pudding. Did he have whipped cream? He sure didn't have any cherries. Oh, but he did have buckets of chocolate.

"Do you have cooking supplies?" Chance asked, draping his dripping clothes over the closet door one by one. "We'll need some milk, sugar, cocoa...what else, what else..."
His voice disappeared for a second as he pulled a shirt over his head, Chance shaking his curls out. He dug around in his dresser for the rest of his things. "Oh, and vanilla extract, maybe some cornstarch."
He reappeared a moment later, wearing a pair of leggings that looked highly reminiscent of the ones Mimsy wore on occassion, as well as a pair of unlaced combat boots, and flashed Otto a bright smile.
"If not, we can just snitch some from the kitchens, they won't miss a few things here and there."

"We're gunna have to snag stuff from the kitchen." Otto agreed, looking up once Chance got back out. What was it with his friends and their flamboyantly odd attire? Cami wore neon colours that blinded the unprepared eye, and Chance wore girly stuff. His friends were weird as Hell. "Let's get to her, Mission Impossible." Unable to refrain from pop culture references despite his company, Otto pressed forward.

The smile he gave Otto was almost apologetic for his outfit, not because he was ashamed of wearing it, but because it was just sort of an automatic thing for Chance to wear whatever was comfortable, regardless of gender appropriateness.
"What's mission impossible?" he asked interestedly, falling into step beside his friend. "Is that like, a secret spy mission thing?"

"So, basically Deus?" Chance asked jokingly, pushing open the door to the kitchens a few moments later and wandering over to where the spices were.
"See if you can find the vanilla extract and the cocoa."

"I guess so. Though they didn't have any fantasy creature type s**t in them... that I remember." He'd only seen them in passing, really. Otto nodded, looking through the cupboards for the ingredients. "I guess we could just use this kitchen for the lesson. Beats runnin' up and down the stairs for s**t." It certainly had more tools for it.

He flashed a smile over his shoulder at Otto.
"Sure, if you don't mind being in your wet clothes," said Chance with a laugh. "Oh, here's the starch, milk is in the fridge..."
Supplies gathered in arms, he made his way over to the counter and dumped it on, looking excited.

"Oh yeah.." He'd been so invested in pudding, he'd forgotten about his wet clothes. How much did he care, really? He had a towel on his head. All was fine. He shrugged, and stood by Chance. "Pudding first."

"Pudding it is," said Chance grandly. He opened a cabinet and got out a bowl, and then dug around for some spoons and measuring utensils.
"Pass over the cocoa and sugar?"

Otto passed the ingredient dutifully hovering to see what the man did with it. He'd have to learn cooking skills other than pudding too, but this sure made it more fun to start. As much as he was loathe to admit, it was not a good idea to live off pudding.

"Okay," said Chance, pressing his hands together. "Half a cup of sugar, third of a cup of cocoa, and three tablespoons of corn starch, in this bowl."
He passed over a measuring cup, as well as the bowl, and gave Otto an encouraging smile. "Just dump it all together."

Otto bit his lip, following the instructions and tossing the ingredients into a bowl. He'd sort of helped Eva bake a cake once, and he'd hovered when Cami cooked. This time he made a point to be more hands on. Pudding pudding pudding.His gaze was hyper focused on the making of the pudding. "How much is this gunna make?" He wondered aloud.

"About four servings, ish, so a lot," said Chance, giving Otto an amused smile. The sheer curiosity and eagerness emanating from the other was endearing, and he couldn't help but be a tiny bit more interested in it and Otto as a whole.
He quickly turned his gaze back to the bowl.
"Here," said Chance, passing over a whisk and picking up the milk. "You stir everything while I pour in the milk."

Otto started mixing, although his technique was lacking. Whisks were not something he'd ever used before. "Does it gotta be done at the same time Can't pour it first?"
