Supreme was grateful for Mercy's presence by her side, two protectors were certainly better then one right? It emboldened her a little bit, letting her move out from behind Ironforge so that she might hear Aquitaine's words more clearly. Her ears flicked with uncertainty as the mare spoke, the things she said were hard to believe and yet..Supreme wanted to believe them.
"I..I think I would like to try and see him." She finally spoke, breaking the silence that had lingered between the group. "But..not here, I don't want to bring him to the rest of the herd, just in case." She added quickly, she wasn't going to put the rest of the herd at risk for her own selfish desires and perhaps a part of her did not want them to witness whatever it was that would happen.
Ironforge considered Supreme's words for a few moment, his mind working quickly to organize a plan as he gazed at Aquitaine impassively. "Very well then....wewill tae Aquitaine back to him." He finally stated. It was an insurance policy of sorts..if they were really mated then it was unlikely that this Agave would try anything while his mate was under their control and if it all worked out then it could be a happy reunion..and if it did not they would have some leverage.

Aquitaine wasn't sure if her words had sunk in or not, if they believed her or not. A silence had settled down upon them after she had finished. She knew what she had said was a lot to take in and that there likely wouldn't be an instant reaction or acceptance but she was hopeful. When Supreme broke though the silence and said she would like to see Agave Aquitaine couldn't help but smile. Of course her quick amendment made Aquitaine smile widen. She understood why Supreme wouldn't want Agave to come here, they were still not sure whether everything she had told them was the truth or not, but it was a step in the right direction.
What was a bit more shocking was how quickly Ironforge agreed to it all. So, she would still be a prisoner of sorts, but at least they were willing to give her and Agave a chance. She bowed her head in acknowledgement and acceptance of Ironforge's words. "My home is on the beach a few days walk from here." She told him, knowing that at one point she would need to share that information.

"We will leave in the morning." Ironforge decided, he could leave Zhevra in charge here while the rest of them made the journey to the beach...not his most favorite location in the world but there is was. "Until then I will leave you in Mercy's care." He stated further, he doubted that Mercy would take the mare back to the holding pen but as long as she kept an eye on her then she couldn't get into much trouble out here on the outskirts of the territory and Mercy knew better then to bring her any closer.
Of course..he would keep the pair of guards lurking about as well. Just in case. Motioning with his head for Mercy to take charge of the mare Ironforge led Supreme away, back through the trees and to wherever the rest of the herd lived.
Watching Ironforge and Supreme leave Mercy turned back to Aquitaine. She truly hoped that this all worked out for everyone involved but in the meantime..at least she could see that Aquitaine was give a more comfortable night. "I imagine you must be hungry, there is some good grazing lands in the area..or I can send Sorin for more Melons if you'd like." She offered, recrossing the stream to join the other mare. "Ironforge will want to leave early - he's not one to waste time with things like this, so best to re energize while you have the chance."

Aquitaine nodded to Ironforge and watched the stallion lead Supreme away. It would be good to get home again, but she was worried what Agave and her children's reactions would be when they saw her coming home - under escort. Turning her attention back to Mercy, she pondered her choices. The melon as delicious, but knowing the journey ahead of them it would be best to have something more substantial in her system. "Grass will be good."
She followed Mercy away from the stream, aware that the guards still trailed her. It was clear that Ironforge didn't quite trust her yet but was giving her a bit of freedom which was fine.
