Corine  
Corine smiled a bit at how Tasuya was so eager to help her. "Corine." She said softly and Romi sat down beside her. He wanted to see Tasuya prove himself.. If he was really all that.
The rest of the night sky became cold and wind howled loudly through the broken temple doors. Corine covered herself with the blanket and Romi inched closer to her as he smiled slyly.
-Senka-of-Darkness- Alright, so I have no pic to use for the hunter & thought maybe we could time skip that part where they fight.. If you want or I could get a pic for the hunter & stuff. Also, if Tasuya brings back the head of the magic man who controlled her, she'll kiss him. If he doesn't & just returns with the egg unharmed, she'll thank him greatly. If he brings the egg back, but its damaged she'll ask him to come back with her to help raise it. lol you can pick one for an outcome or make up your own. ^-^

~ Time Skip ~
It wasn't in till day break that Tasuya came back with the egg and
something else wrapped up in a cloth. Tasuya then sat down the egg
gentle." We need to find a big rock and break it so we can cover the
egg and hatch it...Now... When I got there they had already started the
hatching process. I also brought you a gift Corine. " Tasuya threw the
bag on the ground and the head of the magic man rolled out on to the
floor with a horror of a look on his face.

Corine
A couple women monks were around Corine, wrapping her hand in some gauze. It was damaged from the fight as well as her ankle. She sat quietly, not able to really understand them. Romi had fallen asleep and was wrapped in the blanket.
Corine looked up to see Tasuya with the egg and her heart fluttered from relief. When the head rolled across the floor the women monks screamed and fled. Corine stood and ran over to Tasuya, wrapping her arms around him and connecting their lips. She was so grateful. And the head of the man whom enslaved her was like a trophy.
When Corine pulled back to look him in the eyes she spoke to him in dragon-speak. "I thank you, Pendragon." Corine leaned up and kissed him once more, keeping her arms wrapped around him.

Tasuya was shocked by the kiss and didn't know how to react he wasn't
sure if he should kiss her back or not it had been quite a long time
sense someone had kissed him." Your welcome..." Tasuya said
and then spotted Romi but didn't want to move out of Corine's arms.

Corine pulled back a bit and smiled. She really wanted to stay close to him, but she knew better than to ask it. She went to her egg and touched the top of it with her finger. The stone layer began to crack and crumble away until the crystal layer was left. The next layer turned to black crystal and then shattered apart. She hugged the bare egg and warmed it a bit. "Thank you. You saved us. Thank you." Corine whispered and held the egg close.
Romi awoke and looked over at them. He didn't move and saw them kiss. It was a bit awkward, so he pretended to be asleep.

Tasuya smiled and headed over to Romi and pulled the blanket
making him spin in the air as he took it off of him." Come on Romi you
need to find a rock to break so we can wrap it around the egg so it can
hatch." Tasuya did know a thing or two about hatching and egg
sense him and his mate had to take turns hatching their child.

Romi groaned and got up. He waved as a response and walked out of the temple. By then the mountains cast a shadow outside that covered most of the area. When he started searching a strange shadow figure darker than all the rest moved across the snow. Romi watched it from the corner of his eye until he was annoyed. "What? What do you want?" He asked. But no response. Of course there'd be no response from a shadow.
He sighed and went back to collecting the rock, but the shadow wouldn't relent and finally wrapped around Romi, strangling his body. "Ah! Let go! Who are you??" He yelled.
The marking on Romi's eye began to sting and blind him. He gripped it and grunted, falling to his knees. Suddenly the shadow slowly formed into a shape like a human.
A man came from the shadow and pinned Romi on his stomach to the ground. "We've finally found you, Romio Ashla. It's time for you to choose a side." The man said, slowly licking the back of Romi's neck then biting it. Romi screamed and his body became paralyzed. He tried to grip the ground, but all his energy felt drained.
When the man drew back and released Romi's neck two puncture wounds turned into a marking. The man stood and turned back into a shadow.
Romi tried to move, but he still couldn't. His eye was slowly gaining back its sight, but he could hardly focus on anything else. An hour or so later and he returned to the temple with the rock, although he seemed less happy and more withdrawn.

once the egg was covered he sat down and let out a sign." Alright we
can take turns if you want" Tasuya told her and then looked at Romi
wondering what his problem was.

Romi was lost deep in thought. Those words cycled around in his head, "It's time for you to choose a side." what did that mean exactly? He sat down and pulled his knees up to his chest. He stared aimlessly at nothing and continued to think.
Corine nodded and smiled. She was so excited to finally meet her child. She was trying to guess what gender it might be. Corine knew that the hatching might take hours depending on how stubborn the child was, but she was sure excited besides.

Tasuya looked at Corine and was glad to see her happy but he was still
curious about something."If you don't mind me asking what
happened to your mate?" Tasuya asked deciding to leave Romi to
figure out his own problems sense he really didn't trust him.

Corine looked down, she could still remember it well. It was a perfect day and she was wrapped around her three eggs. The father flew down with food because she had been trying to hatch them all at once. He comforted her and beckoned her to rest a while as he would try next. Corine had been hesitant to sleep, but she did and allowed her mate to do the rest.
Her eyes shut and when she awoke it was dusk. The sky had become bright orange and pink. She awoke to find herself alone in the nest. She had a chain around her neck and large shackles on her feet and tail. A hunter cast a spell to keep her silent as she watched her mate fight another dragon that was being controlled.
Corine tried to move to save her eggs that were being carried off, she managed to whip one of the hunters with her tail and make them drop the egg, causing it to roll back to her. She fought with her life to keep that single egg safe as she watched her mate from the corner of her eye be killed.
Corine slowly looked back up at Tasuya. "He's.. Dead. He died, like all must." She smiled a bit and then blinked away tears.

Tasuya frowned and looked at the egg." I'm sorry to hear that..."
Tasuya said and then smiled trying to change the subject." Well we
should probably get to hatching your egg." Tasuya said and blew
white fire on the egg heating it up and stopped letting the heat from the
fire settle down a bit." So how do you plan to feed your child?"
Tasuya asked mostly because Dragons were toothless when their first
born so eating meat is out of the question.

Corine shook her head. It was something that she wasn't strong enough to prevent. It was her fault and she'd have to live with it. "Food? Hm.. Fish." Corine stood up and ran to the edge of the cliff, then jumped off. She got fish from the bottom of the river and came back up into the temple. Her arms were filled with about a hundred flopping fish. She sent them down and smiled.
She pushed her finger into each one and killed it quickly. Her breath burned away the rough scales and she continued to do this to each one. She was hoping it would be easy to slip down the child's throat and feed them.

Tasuya thought the idea of feeding the child fish to be a good idea to try.
Tasuya then looked back at the egg and blew more white fire on the egg
heating it up some more then stopping so the heat would settle."
That's actually a good idea to try." Tasuya said to him it felt odd
trying to hatch another egg but he didn't mind.

Corine nodded and laughed a little. She piled the fish up and then roasted one special for Tasuya. She went to sit beside him and offered the fish to him. "You are a big help, Tasuya. Thank you." She smiled at him kindly. If the baby saw him when it hatched, then it would most likely assume Tasuya was the father. Corine knew that he was probably aware as well. She leaned against his shoulder and watched as a small crack formed on the shell. It was a slow process but it was a magical moment for any parent.
