[PRP] I Stole a Dalek! (Idris Taerdos & Darvos Skaro)

Davros paused and regarded her seriously, "What are you doing?"  

[divena]

"Getting more comfortable," she smiled at him. "You looked like you needed something soft to rest on."  

[Angelique DelaMort]

Davros wrinkled up his nose but slowly moved his head to rest against the mare. "I'm doing this under protest," he muttered. "You've managed to run off with my collar..."  

[divena]

"Protest all you like, just so long as you rest," she said, cheerfully. She was oddly pleased that he was leaning on her, even if it was under protest.

Davros grumbled but felt himself slip into an almost restful sleep, also under protest.  

[divena]

Idris stiffed a giggle when she realized the prickly male was asleep. Like this, he was almost cutely sweet.

Davros awoken suddenly sometime later and looked around shocked. Though it hurt his aching muscles, he nearly panicked hearing an aggressive growling noise from somewhere nearby. At least he felt on edge until he realized it was his stomach growling loudly. "I'm hungry."  

[divena]

"You're awake!" Idris murmured. She covered a yawn of her own, having done her best to stay vigilant while he slept. "You were asleep for ages. No wonder you're hungry. What would you like? I can pop off and get you something."  

[Angelique DelaMort]

"At the moment I will take anything as long as it's eatable," he muttered and grumbled trying to cover his eyes.  

[divena]

"Alright, then. I won't be long..." she hesitated, watching the way he was trying to shield his eyes. After a moment of thought, she slipped off to find a large leaf then returned, draping it over his eyes before taking off to find something for both of them to eat.

The moment the cooling shade enveloped his world he gave a friendly and silent thanks. A moment later he vocalized it out loud. "Thank you," he said, though quite quietly.

Unfortunately, this momentous event passed without a witness. Idris had already taken off to get something for him to eat. She didn't return for at least half an hour, but when she did she carried a bundle of sweet grasses and juicy berries. She set the bundle next to him. "You awake?"

"Am now," he muttered quietly realizing his mouth was quite dry.  

[divena]

"I brought some food," she told him. She nudged the thick, leafy bundles toward him. "Plenty of juice in these. I can find some water if you need."

"Water..." he managed. "Might be nice..."
