 "I am putting every lie in alphabetic file..." Her mouth hung open in a silent scream, everything in her head hurting. All she could see was red. Red blood, red smiles, red wings, red hair. She whimpered, registering Bae's voice. It sounded like he was off in the distance, yelling down a tunnel at her. Names ran through her mind, names of people she didn't know. Joanne, Annalise, Alex, Cynthia. All names she'd heard screamed as her Mother crushed their throats. It took her a long minute before she opened her eyes, realizing where she was. She wasn't on the beach, or hiding in the trees. There was carpet, and sun shining through a window. Blinking, pushed herself up into a sitting position, pressing a hand to her temple. "Starting with 'all i need is you'..."
"...and 'baby don't go'."

It took Bae's yelling for Ken to snap out of his daze, and even then it took him a while. He blinked several times, his eyes gaining their shine of life each blink. "Huh...?" he mumbled and tried to make sense of what happened. Everything from earlier was a blur, he could barely remember what happened. He was definitely still in his room and...
Ken finally noticed what was happened. He watched Bae try to help Ana, who looked like she had a terrible headache. What happened? Nevertheless, he moved to the small fridge between his and Yasu's beds and pulled out a Japanese orange-flavored soda he usually got from Ryuu whenever his family would send him things. He opened his desk to see a few boxes of pills in them for whenever he had long nights. He wasn't sure if these would even help, but pain relievers were pain relievers, right? Pulling them out, he returned to the two and handed Bae the soda.

Bae Strong arms lifted the girl off of the ground, sitting her on the bed and moving away to give her room to breathe. Bae, kneeling in front of Ana, nodded to Kenshin as he took the soda and opened it. He held it out for her to take, shaking his head. "Damned foolish," he mumbled, looking back to the Japanese with a disappointed gleam in his eye. He just had to provoke her! Remaining in front of Ana, the handsome Korean exhaled through his nose and waited a few minutes to speak to her, his voice calm and soothing. "Are you alright now?" he questioned, kind eyes searching her for any sign of further panic.

"I am putting every lie in alphabetic file..." Ana had barely noticed the change in where she was seated, only glad that her head stopped spinning once she sat back down. Gods, her head was killing her. Taking the soda, she carefully took a sip, not wanting to tip her head back too much and aggravate her already awful headache. Another few minutes passed, and Ana managed to regain her wits. Her hands had stopped shaking, mostly, and the cold sweats had stopped too. She pushed her hair back from her head with both hands, folding in toward herself. "Y-yeah. I'm...I'm okay. I won't like, die on you, I swear." She said, trying poorly to maintain her sense of humor. Looking over toward Ken, a mixture of worry and regret was mixed in her features. "I didn't...Hurt you, did I? Didn't lunge at you or anything?" It wouldn't be the first time that she'd accidentally hurt, or even killed someone when singing. "Starting with 'all i need is you'..."

Ken looked away when he heard Bae, not wanting to see his expression. He couldn't argue or get mad, because this was all his fault, and although he could practically sense that heart-sinking disappointment he knew he deserved it. Still, didn't mean it didn't suck.
When he heard Ana talk, he lifted his head to look at her, frowning. "No. Ah, yes. Err, I don't really know. All my memories are fuzzy right now." he admitted while rubbing the back of his neck. He was silent for a moment, gathering his shattering pride, then said, "Look, I'm, uh... sorry I forced you to do that." he muttered, not looking at anyone. "I've always thought magical creatures were just something people imagined. I didn't know they were real."

BaeOnce certain that Ana wasn't about to have another panic attack, Bae pushed himself into a standing position and set his hands on his hips, the movements causing the dog ears on his head to seem like they were twitching in irritation. He glanced back to Kenshin, the sinking feeling of guilt settling in his stomach at the redhead's expression. He let out a breath, then moved to stand near the male and set a large hand on his head. "As long as everyone's alright, there's no reason to look so much like a kicked puppy."
Ruffling the younger male's hair and offering a small smile, Bae walked over to the other bed and pulled his phone from his pocket. "I think that's enough excitement for right now. Why don't we all go and get some lunch? My treat."

As stubborn and irritating as he might seem, she really didn't want to kill him. At the thing he said next, she pushed herself off the bed, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, no problem. Better you find out with me rather than with someone else more harmful, like a full-blooded siren or a vampire." If he was going to find out magical creatures were real, sure, if she were an elf or a fairy, it would've been a lot easier to prove, but it could've been much worse. Looking over at Bae, a smile slapped itself onto her face. "I agree. And lunch sounds great--I'm starved." "Starting with 'all i need is you'..."

Feeling the hands on his head and his shoulder, Kenshin blinked a couple times then grit his teeth, that familiar vein throbbing. "Ah, jeez! I don't need your pity parties!" he griped and swung his fists around to get their hands off. Maybe this tantrum of his was his way of cheering up.
"I guess I can get lunch with you guys." he grunted while crossing his arms. He didn't look too much like his stage persona so he wouldn't get caught so easily. Besides, people would pay more attention to the ears on Bae's head. "Where are we going?"

BaeBae continued scrolling through his phone, smiling as he landed on a picture of himself and the other members of his band at a small cafe near the school. "Ellery and I go to this cafe nearby all the time. It's got great food and a nice atmosphere. Why don't we go there?" He held the phone up for them to see, the cafe indeed looking like a nice place to go, but the centerpiece of the picture wasn't the cafe. It was a beautiful brunette male with emerald green eyes and a stunning smile sitting beside Bae and holding on to one of his arms. The Bae in the picture smiled happily, his cheeks pink and his eyes filled with a sort of happiness that he didn't usually seem to wear.
The Korean put the phone away, gesturing to the door. "Let's walk. It isn't too far," he suggested, hands in his pockets and looking as cool and collected as ever.

"I am putting every lie in alphabetic file..." Ana couldn't help but giggle, hand covering her mouth as Ken shoved her and Bae off. Yep. He was okay. The place that Bae described, Ana vaguely remembered from her fly into town.It seemed like a quaint little place. Hopefully, the food and wait staff were as good as Bae said. "Well, let's go!" she said, walking in front of them and through the still-bashed-open door.

Ken leaned in to look at the picture, freezing as he realized what exactly he was looking at. He honestly should have expected something like this, a picture of the person Bae actually loved. Why did he always try to give himself hope like this? The way Bae smiled, Ken had never seen him like that. And for what? A pipsqueak idiot that likes to pretend he's still in kindergarten? It wasn't fair, and he didn't want to eat and some place Bae would just reminisce about.
Waiting for the others to take a few steps ahead, Ken held his phone out behind him and pressed his ringtone button, letting the small tune ring out loudly. He quickly pulled it out in front of him, pretending to look at something, then looked at them and said, "Hey, uh, you two just eat without me. Ryuu wants to talk to me about our next concert." Before any of them could answer, he rushed off ahead of them, even opting to take the stairs instead of the elevator. He didn't know where he was really going, just as long as it was far from them.

Jack_o_LanternsinJuly Can you post in the Cafe first? BaeThe tall man turned around just in time to see a redhaired blur sped past him. He blinked, reaching a hand up to push his hair back,t hen stepped forward as he realized what was happening. "Ken, wait!" he called, then stepped back and stared after him. He was gone, and Bae knew even he coudln't catch him when he was that intent on leaving. He'd tried once, a long time ago.
Shaking his head free of memories, Bae looked down to the girl and shrugged. "I guess we're eating alone," he said, although his disappointment inched into his voice. He wanted to spend time with Kenshin, and hadn't even thought about the significance of the cafe to the redhead. What a fool he was, but what could be done? Besides, he'd probably find a way to make it up to Ken soon, anyway.
