After a quite a bit of time Sandslash was now in tip top form! The Sandslash was brimming with energy as it gave the girl a small hug. Misa was ready for this one in comparison when the Geodude hugged her. The girl had grown accustomed to Sandslash so she had mentally prepared herself for contact. Don’t get the teen wrong! She fully supported contact but wasn’t accustomed to being hugged. A handshake, a bow, a smile, a conversation; the girl could do all of those but hugs were a bit of a gray zone.

”Great job Sandslash!” The porcupine Pokemon came to her side as the Zubat vanished within the darkness. It wasn’t a very difficult battle but her companion did sustain some injuries. Taking out some Potion bottles the girl went straight to work on mending the wounds inflicted during the battle. Once her companion was all healed up Misa returned the creature back into the ball till the next battle. At least there was no shortage of opponents within the cave.

In the meantime, the human was on a journey to find this elusive Onix. The snake-like Pokemon wasn’t common so it was best to catch it while she was in the area. The girl hoped that it wasn’t going to be as annoying as the Jigglypuff but she would use the Black Flute if need be. The caves were probably filled with these flutes. Plus most of the cities were connected to some sort of cave so there would surely be a way to get her hands on this item. So there was little to lose in this sort of situation.

With her Pokemon safely snuggled within their balls the girl kept on her toes. Though she couldn’t hear anything the girl was sure that she was being followed. Not by a person but felt more like it was from a Pokemon. The only Pokemon that the girl knew who would be unable to make a sound was the floating rock. Her experience with Geodude’s was updated ever since she caught one herself. It was only a feeling but the girl was willing to follow her gut on this one. There was no questioning this one.
