Leon decided with that done, they could all use a breather. Delta was angry about the zubat hoarde having gone away so soon after she started obliterating them, but seemed to be having decent behavior. She wasn't rampaging about, at least. The lifeguard found a place to sit on the beach, laying back. As he let himself relax, he realized something. He hasn't texted Isis in a while. Since before battling Morty, in fact. That was so long ago! Oh god, he hoped his girlfriend wasn't going to get mad at him! He had been so busy training up his pokemon and planning for the next battle. Leon quickly got out his pokegear and started on a text message, sending it out and hoping for the best. He also sent a few pictures - one of Nova making a silly face, one of Kai and Inari playing on the beach, and one of Tesla just after she evolved.

While Kai and Leon were swimming, Inari bounded around, checking out all the other pokemon. Most of them were accepting of her presence in the very least. However, when she approached Delta, the legendary leaned away from the yipping fox, staring down with disgust. "GROSS. GO PLAY ELSEWHERE, LITTLE FAIRY." Delta snarled. Inari tilted her head, tail wagging a bit before she barked back at the dragon, still trying to play. Delta's eyes narrowed in irritation, blowing a gust of air out of her nostrils to send Inari toppling away from her. The Gekkit squealed as she tumbled away, withdrawing into her collar and rolling back towards the other pokemon.
After a good long swim session, Leon finally returned to shore, shaking off the moisture from himself. Which he had to wipe off once more after Kai did the same beside him. Leon chuckled, patting the gator before returning to his stuff. He pulled his white tanktop back on, but left his wet swim trunks on for now. "ARE YOU DONE MESSING AROUND, FLESH WORM?" Delta's thunderous voice grumbled. The shiny rayquaza had calmed down a bit, but seemed eager to do something. The dragon didn't like staying so still for so long, and making friends with the other pokemon wasn't in her interest.

Resting on deck, Avikna stared out absently towards the waves as the boat she'd been allowed transport on sailed over the ocean. A course of miscommunication had left the little ship to take a detour while two larger ships tried to redirect themselves around the Whirl Islands. It was perhaps fate this should happen, as Avikna laid witness to a sight that snapped her from her inner mind. A Rayquaza. The tiny boat traveled at a far distance from shore, leaving the large legend a blur in the distance, but it was otherwise unmistakable, especially to Avikna. It seemed she was the only one to see it other than Mave. The mother of the child Avikna had momentarily baby-sat had retreated below deck for rest while the young girl had also joined her. The ships captain, the husband was to busy watching the clouds towards the Whirl Islands to notice the legend as well. When they finally docked ship, Avikna directed herself for the shore she'd seen the Rayquaza, leaving with little more than a thank you.
All the while, the red-head's mind was in a marathon. Mave flew overhead, keeping tabs on both the female and their target in the distance. 'It can't be him.' Mave mentioned. Of course this thought had accrued to Avikna Ookoth wasn't black, and though she didn't entirely trust her grandfather she didn't think he'd lie about where Ookoth was either. Then she thought... what if he'd escaped? What if Team Rocket had done something to alter Ookoth's colours? Then why was he here? If that were the case... Why hadn't he returned to Avikna? Was she honestly that horrible of a trainer to him? It infuriated her, to think she'd saved his life... and he'd up and choose to never return to her? ' Avikna...' She was at this point, blind with rage. Mave's voice fell on deaf ears. In her blindness she didn't even notice the male standing right beside the Rayquaza, or the other Pokemon scattered around the beach.
Flying down, Mave took hold of Avikna's arms, holding her back. The wolf was far stronger than Avikna, so keeping her at bay was easily enough to do, but control over the human's mouth was another thing. "You escape and decided to take a vacation? You didn't think about me one second, huh!? Do you see me as not good enough? Or to inferior to be your trainer? Huh, Ookoth! I saved your life you ungrateful overgrown lizard!" Fury in her eyes, she was fighting against Mave's hold. The wolf herself showed an apologetic look to the male as well as the Rayquaza....They hadn't really been in the same presence for long, but Mave... just felt that this wasn't Ookoth. If it wasn't him though, who was it? Legends were meant to be rare... to think she'd meet two of the same species in one lifetime was astonishing to say the least.

"Alright then. I'll... find you an opponent." Leon commented a bit awkwardly, a bit off-put by the legendary's attitude. The shiny rayquaza sure did seem to enjoy battling. The lifeguard was just glad it wasn't currently trying to burn down cianwood or thrash at all his pokemon. Not that it really showed it, but maybe the violent dragon has calmed down just a bit from when he first met it.

When the Rayquaza first spoke, Avikna had started to calm down. She'd never heard Ookoth's voice ,the dragon for the most part didn't talk... he'd only spoken to Mave and her other Pokemon. Even still, she... just knew this wasn't Ookoth. The dragon lashed out at her accusation and insults, screaming the name 'Delta' As Avikna stopped trying to charge, Mave's grip slowly became less rough on the woman's arms. Soon, Mave was able to safely remove her hand-like paws from the red-head all together, revealing at last the spiraling tattoo of a Rayquaza on her arm. "You're... Not Ookoth." It wasn't a question for confirmation, Avikna had already accepted this.
Avikna's red eyes traveled over to Leon, when she finally came to notice the male. Had he been there the whole time? He looked remotely familiar to her as well. At his side a Feraligatr stood. He was a trainer... was he this Delta's trainer? "Who said I'm not an opponent?" Avikna asked, eyes narrowing. Looking away she turned her gaze on the ocean. She'd apologized so much today it was honestly tiresome. Did the dragon really want to fight? Fine she needed the training anyway. "We're both trainers. When Trainers meet they fight." She returned her gaze to the man. "I was mistaken though. Now that I look at this lizard a lot closer, it doesn't resemble Ookoth at all." That of course was meant to be an insult.
