Mitsu took the lid off the incubator to grab the egg. But, he didn't get the chance before a Ponyta jumped over the bench and hit the container with its hoof. Thankfully, Rao managed to catch the egg before it hit the ground and Mitsu's heart started beating again."Thank goodness...."Now was his chance to catch a Ponyta, but he also wanted to retaliate for it almost killing his egg."Okay, Flynn, you're up!"Flynn appeared and ran forward, giving the Ponyta an angry glare. How dare it act so carelessly around an egg! And, an egg that would hatch to be one of his teammates?
"Scratch, Flynn!"Running forward, Flynn scratched at the Ponyta. However, the flames on its body burst and burned the Charmander, making him jump back."Right....You don't have full immunity to Fire-type inflictions. You okay?""Charm--"He was interrupted by the Ponyta, who retaliated against Scratch with Tackle. Flynn was sent back and he shook a bit."You're really hurt, Flynn! Maybe Rao can--""Mander!"Flynn used Scratch again, this time knocking Ponyta unconscious. He winced a bit and Mitsu quickly returned him.
Taking the opportunity, Mitsu tossed the ball at Ponyta and watched it shake a few times until it pinged, signififying his success in catching it. Beaming, Mitsu rushed over and picked the ball up."Yes!...This can wait. We have to have Flynn, and Ponyta, treated. Come on, Rao."Mitsu took the egg from Rao and hurried to the Pokemon Center with her. He handed the two Pokeballs over to Nurse Joy and waited at the counter, holding the egg firmly so it didn't fall from his grip. Joy soon returned the two Pokemon and he thanked her before going to sit on a sofa and let them out. He didn't know what to name Ponyta at all.

Mitsu leaned back a bit as he thought of what to call Ponyta. However, he looked down when the egg cracked and he watched as it began to hatch. His face beamed as the top popped off, supported by what looked like a...bubble or something. Suddenly, the entire shell gave way and in the mess sat a Phione. But, it was a very unique Phione. Its body was black, the gem and markings silver. But, what really caught his attention was the shape of the gem. Phione gems were typically ovals, but this one's gem was shaped like a heart. He was stunned speechless for a bit, but he recovered and squealed like a little girl getting her first Pokemon at the age of five."Gorgeous~! I couldn't ask for a better Pokemon to share my thoughts with~!"Mitsu picked Phione up and hugged it, making Phione smile and hug him back."Mizu. I'm going to call you Mizu. Okay?""Phione~!"Flynn and Rao smiled up at Mizu, greeting her happily, while the Ponyta let out a snort. Not a rude one; he was greeting her in his own way.

Mitsu sat around in the Pokémon Center with his team while he waited for the Shaman. Where were they set up? It was taking a long time for him to get here. Eventually, he showed up and Mitsu stood to greet the elderly Shaman and his Alakazam. He doubted they'd be able to keep up their work for much longer. The old man didn't look like he'd live passed a few more years. And, Mitsu was going to miss him. The two walked over to Mitsu and his team."Shaman Yurgen."There was no tribe name for shaman and shawoman. He didn't know why, but that was how it had been for...well, since forever apparently."It's been a long time, Silver. Am I correct in assuming the Phione is your hatchling?"Mitsu nodded and pat Mizu's head. Yurgen nodded, and Mitsu took a seat. The link was a short process. Well, short for this paor since they were so experienced with it. Alakazam did most of the work, of course, but Yurgen was the one instructing him. It wasn't necessary given the Pokémon's intellegence, but they were an in-tuned pair. They finished their goal and Yurgen bowed to Mitsu."Farewell, Mitsukini. I wish you luck on your journey."He watched the Shaman leave before looking down at Mizu."What was that about?"It worked! Mitsu beamed."It's a tradition with my people. He came here to finish the ritual. About time, too."

It was awful to just battle them when they were minding their own business, but he had to train his team."Duke~!"Mitsu let Duke out to battle the Caterpie. He called out for Tackle, and the Ponyta delivered. That was enough to end the battle, and Mitsu thanked Duke and congratulated him before returning him to his ball.
