artman_2.0 (I'm not sure, unless we get other takers. We could start a one on one here, we could rp on skype/discord, etc. PM me if you want to do something else) One bath later, Sasha returned from the room, fully dried and clothed. Perhaps she had indulged herself for a little too long, as Tony was nowhere to be found. Judging by the sky in the window, he had already gone to bed. It seemed that now would be the time to do the same. She wandered around the house, looking for that cot she was promised. Looking through a hallway, she found several machines nearby. Computers, robots, mechanical firearms, you name it, were all leaning against a wall. Though the ones that fascinated her the most were the clocks. Despite being of different shapes and sizes, they all displayed the exact same time. She eventually found the door that lead to her cot. "Penny" was laying there, waiting for her to come on in. Sasha closed the door behind her, and laid down on the cot. As she tried to sleep, she couldn't stop thinking. There was a long road ahead of her, and this may be her only pit stop for a while.

The night passed quickly. No sooner had she finally closed her eyes, the sun arose in the sky, making the deep black hue turn into a light charcoal gray. There was a robot floating beside her head, holding a tray that had a glass of water and what appeared to be a square biscuit on it. Tony was standing at the door across the room. "Take a taste of that hardtack and see if you can palate it. I'll whip up some steak and eggs in the kitchen," he replied, before leaving her with her robot.

Sasha gently grabbed this "hardtack" with her hand. What a peculiar appetizer it was to her. It definitely looked like one of those military rations that Tony had lying around. She took a large bite, not knowing how it'll taste. "This is pretty good." She scarfed down the "hardtack" and jumped from her bed. Looking down, she saw "Penny" still at her pillow. She picked up the pistol, placing it at her side. She excitedly left her room, whispering to her gun, "Tony's gonna teach me how to use you today." (OOC: Sorry I've been gone for so long. I'm back.)

Tony heard her from the other room. "You are a strange lass. I've heard of tougher guys who would rather eat a roast rat than scarf down that flimsy excuse for a biscuit," he chuckled. "Feel free to take as much of it as you want with you if you actually enjoy it." He motioned her to the table, setting down a plate of scrambled eggs and freshly seared steak.

Analise and Russell started down the old street. They had been traveling for months and they would soon need to find a place to stay for the night.

She sat down at the table, a plate of breakfast in front of her. "I can't be too picky.", she giggled to Tony, "When you're starved, any food tastes good." She began dining on the delicious steak before her. After swallowing the first mouthful, she asked, "Are you serious about the biscuits though? Can I really keep them?" As she awaited an answer, she quickly finished her meal. (OOC: So sorry, again. I really need to be here more regularly. Perhaps the new girl will help keep me in check.)

He chuckled as he brought a cup of dark brown liquid to his mouth. "Sure, I've got more than I know what to do with, take as much as you desire." he replied.

She stood up from her seat, caressing her gun as she walked to Tony. "I'm done with breakfast now. You think you can teach me how to use this gun now?" She glanced at the window outside. The sky was a blindingly bright colour, the sun beaming with all its might. May be a good time to start practicing. (OOC: I'll try to keep up with this all I can. Sorry again. Been addicted to playing Pokémon. I may consider writing about it in my journal, just so I'll be on Gaia more. Hope you didn't forget me.)

(Fair enough. A new job and Breath of the Wild has been taking up my time lately) Tony laughed at the young woman's excitement, reaching to grab a similar firearm himself, then passing her a thin wire scrubber that was meant to go down a tube. "Give her a quick scrub first. I've taken good care of her but it's better to be safe than sorry. A little bit of rust could cause trouble for ya." He took her outside and set up some bottles and wood planks up on an old, run down car that was slated to be scrapped. "Now, when you're aiming down your sights, be sure to focus on where you want to hit and firmly pull the trigger." He fired off a round that took a tin can off the trunk of the car. "Keep yourself practiced, because this world does not favor a quick sloppy shot or an accurate, but slow shot. If you keep yourself strong and well trained, you can even fire off your pistol without needing both hands to brace it, a real savior when surprise is against you."

She took one of the wire scrubbers for herself. She put it down the shaft of the gun, scrubbing it the best she could. "Am I doing it right?" After she scrubbed her gun for a little bit, she held Penny up in the air. "Alright. So you said to be well-practiced. Mind if I take a few shots in that car too?" Before Tony could even answer her, she shot a bullet of her own, aiming for the trunk of the car. Though by mistake, she hit the back window. The glass around the bullet hole steadily shattered. "Oops! I meant to hit the trunk. Got any advice about aiming?"

"Starting out, just focus and keep things steady. Speed will come with familiarity. And don't worry about ruining the car, it's going to be scrapped anyway. Just be careful hitting the metal bits. Ricochet can be one hell of a b***h if the bullet you let fly bounces right back into you."

She widened her stance, holding the gun a few inches away from her face. She steadily focused on the car in front of her. "My eyes are the gun.", she quietly said to herself as she aimed again. She took a large breath through her nose. She shot at the trunk again, hitting it at the far edge. Her aim was yet to be perfected. "So what's next? Do I just keep shooting at these cars for now?"

"Shoot until you feel comfortable with how your gun feels. Come see me when you've got a steady hand and can hit what you intend to. Then we can move on to moving targets." Tony replied, setting a box of spare ammunition beside her. "Remember to take it slow and don't burn through all these bullets too quickly. I can only spare so many."
