| History Summary |Lucifer was a show-cat born from a long pedigree of Abyssinians. His breeder sold him as a kitten to a man for shows, and he was the perfect cat. He had the right temperment, the right color, form, poise. But in his first show, he lost to a Somali, his brother. Seeing Gabriel at the show, he had tried to make contact, thrilled to find his lost brother again. The fluffy kitten had been the favorite of his siblings, even though the time they had together had been so short. One day Gabriel had been there, the next not, and Lucifer had never been able to figure out why. If their mother had known, she never said.
Something had been wrong with his brother, however. At the show he had been sedate, even lost as he stood there, still but for a small waver every so often. That was not the playful little brother he had remembered. He hadn't even responded to the call, hadn't even seemed to hear it.
It all went downhill from there. Lucifer hadn't minded not placing, but his owner seemed to. Soon there was another cat in the house and he was being forgotten. No pampering, no preparing, it was all for the new cat. He eventually got sick of it one day and attacked the other cat. Their owner caught him and kicked him, sending Luci running out an open door.
He made the decision then to wash his paws of humans.
