Well, his powerbomb plan was unsuccessful, but he wasn't letting his edge get cut off. That is why when Sting started fighting back, that Omen would bring the fight back. When Sting attempted to use his back and legs to lift him over for the back body drop, Omen would reverse by throwing a few clubs to the back of Sting's back, trying to break the focus and power created that could have broke the hold. He would continue to send the clubs until he knew that he could no longer fight the hold, and that is when it will truly be bad for Sting.

The unrelenting clubs would rain down on Sting, and slowly the power would fade from him. Since that edge was once again in Omen's lane, he would look to pick up Sting, but in a different position, this time he looked to transition the given powerbomb position into a spike piledriver position. Once that was done, he looked to nail that maneuver in front of the whole entire crowd which was filled with rage.

Omen's tight hold was once again broken, but this time Sting adapted, knowing that he couldn't lift Omen fast enough in the given time. He would instead break away, send a kick to the gut of Omen, making him double over and give up a big groan that would have been subliminally heard through the microphone. The Freak would be near the center of the ring, doubled over, beginning to feel the effects of the fight which has been anything but one-sided.

Omen would have his head grabbed and plugged in between his armpit, in the reverse suplex position, but people knew this position as the preparation for the Scorpion Death Drop. That is why Omen would fight back, attempting to send a few elbows to the man's gut, straighten his back to gain more leverage, and finally attempt to place his arms around the waist of Sting and transition the hold he was put into, and change it into a tombstone piledriver position. Taking a lot of strength and stability, Omen would try his luck to do so.

The position was set up with perfection, now all that had to be done was to perform his signature maneuver. The crowd would be in his field of view, as well as Sting who was dangling only a few feet from the ground. Omen, grinning with malicious intent, would take his time to deliver this maneuver. After a few seconds of standing in front of the crowd, he would finally attempt to drive the head of Sting into the canvas with the Tombstone Piledriver. Making sure that he feels the pain when the head and ring make contact, jumping even to add some extra damage. The crowd holding their heads and covering their mouths, hoping that Sting can find a way out or be fine if the move connects.

Sting had fight for sure, clawing and stretching his way over and off the shoulder of Omen, getting behind him. The crowd cheering and on the edge of their seats between the two men trying to exchange big maneuvers inside the middle of the ring. Breathtaking technical skills on both men's behalf, as the suspense of the given situation would rise with each reversal and turn.

Sting had something set up, seeing that he didn't automatically attack him once he got behind the man. Slowly, Omen would turn around to Sting who would have just bounced off the ropes, coming back, and throwing himself at the big man. The clothesline would connect, sending a shock-wave throughout the arena and throughout the body of Omen after the connection, causing him to fall down near the center of the ring. A big thud would resound through the arena, with some help from the microphone only inches away.

Omen was dazed for the first time in this match after that big clothesline that sent him on a one way trip to the mat. However, he was persistent and wouldn't stay down for long. Slowly, he would slam both palms into the mat, forcing himself to his feet with the leverage given from the Matt, taking a bit more time than going to the ropes, but he was showing his heart in this performance. A few moments after Sting made it to the top of the turnbuckle, Omen would finally make it to his feet, facing Sting, but still in his dazed state.
