When he had a moment, Glitnir turned to the two senshi nearby. "Is she okay?" he asked Megrez, gesturing to indicate Sadachbia, who was still on the ground.
"I'm fine," Sadachbia said, pulling herself up. "Just a little shocked, I guess."
"Maybe you should stay back," Megrez said. "This is a tough enemy, and I'd rather not lose a new recruit before we even get in there. You ARE a new recruit, right? Not just someone who's been stuck at Basic for a while?"
"You bet. I was awakened... four days ago, I think." Sadachbia couldn't suppress a proud smile over being so fresh and yet already being part of a big mission.
"Four days?!" Glitnir was incredulous. "Have you even had time to get used to your powers yet? Have you even found someone to show you the ropes? Four days in, I was still trying to memorize the tutorial someone gave me!"
Megrez frowned. "Have you even read the Senshi Primer on your phone?" Sadachbia shook her head. "I'm not going to say you shouldn't be here, because I've gotta say, you've got guts, and I bet that means you've got potential. But you really should be more careful."
"Yeah, you're right. But I'm not just going to stand by while the bad guys do nasty stuff to our allies." Suddenly, Sadachbia pointed to Glitnir. "Behind you!"
"Wha- Oh s**t!" Glitnir swung around with his scale, clocking the youma solidly in the side and just barely hopping out of the way of the air blast. "I think he's almost done with! We need to hurry!"
Glitnir hits for 10 damage! The youma misses!

Sadachbia's HP: 34
Sadachbia was not about to be left out while the youma was in range. She should probably save her magic uses for when the mission began in earnest, so she lunged forward, fist ready to deliver a punch.
Her hit was solid and strong, and she nearly got a little cocky over it before a blast of air knocked her off her feet again.
"I said be careful!" Megrez said, shaking her head. This new senshi was clearly too inexperienced to be able to figure out attack patterns.
Sadachbia hits for 16 damage! The youma hits for 4 damage!

"Get back," Megrez said, pulling Sadachbia back. "I don't want you getting hurt if you haven't even figured out how explain it to your parents."
"I get into fights with bullies all the time," Sadachbia half-whined as she was pulled back.
"I'll have to ask you about that later." Megrez swept for the youma's legs with a low kick. Sure, it hit, but it didn't unsteady the youma as much as she hoped it would, and she promptly took an air blast to the behind for her trouble. So much for reading attack patterns.
Megrez hits for 9 damage! The youma hits for 4 damage!

HP: 40-4 = 36 Sidouer reached out with one hand to stop Phact from coming too near. "I'm fine!" she replied with haste "Don't come too close. I don't know if there is any rhyme or reason as to where that hot air comes from..." The last thing they needed to do was knock heads avoiding those pyres. Leaning over she dug another rock out with a gloved index finger and like before tossed it in the air to measure it's weight. Not one to waist an opportunity the Senshi of Static pinwheeled her arm like a softball pitcher and let the stone fly while the youma was preoccupied channeling his attack. Sidouer hit for 4 several hours passed since my last roll and no new attack has happened

The were coming from every direction it seemed and there was really no help for the poor unfortunate soul, who had been tortured and turned into a youma. He belonged to chaos now and stood in the way of those that till needed rescuing.
"Never a funhouse," he spouted. "Only a house of horrors," he said as he was hit with several attack and burst into dust showering those around him.
That obstacle out of the way, its clear. The other are in the funhouse and the fate that awaits them if rescue isn't immediate is a terrifying one.Quote: The poor senshi youma has been dusted. Head to the funhouse! Your allies await their rescue!

At the warning, Phact stood back and let her much more athletic friend take the lead. There was the wind-up, the pitch and...
"Really Sidouer, clay?" Phact sighed, taking a moment to breathe as the watched the youma/senshi's dieing moments. In its last moments, Phact heard what she needed.
Walking up, she placed her hand on Sidouer's shoulder and nodded. They had a job to finish. "This ends tonight." The senshi of doves spoke and took the lead, heading towards the so called 'House of Fun.'

If this was another day or another time Sidouer may have lobbed a chunk of clay at the pristine white senshi with red stained bandage wrapped around her arm. But now was not the time for such childish antics and so she nodded her head curtly and followed after Phact.

Palatine was dispassionate as she watched the youma burst into dust. He hardly mattered to her. It was unfortunate, but there was no other way for this too end. Showing mercy would merely waste the time they could be using to find the others.
She did, however, pay careful attention to what was said.
The funhouse? Naturally. Where else could they have hidden so many people? Keeping them in one place would make it easier to keep them confined, and the funhouse no doubt had plenty of areas in which they could keep their hostages separate.
Palatine sprinted toward the funhouse without giving a second glance to the spot where the youma had been dusted. There was nothing else they could have done.

Perdita was only mildly disappointed when the Senshi youma burst into dust so soon. She'd been hoping for a chance to examine it more closely, and could have kicked herself for putting so much force behind her blows. Maybe if she at least had gone easier on it they could have knocked it unconscious instead of dusting it outright. Then she could have stayed behind to study it while the others...
No, there were captives that needed saving. That was what they were here for. This was what they'd spent the last week aiming for. There were Senshi and Knights in that funhouse that needed their help, and she had every intention of being a part of the group that freed them.
She could consider the matter of the Senshi youma at a later date.
With the metal rod still at hand, Perdita motioned for Oberon to follow her as she led the way toward the funhouse.

Lucasta cared nothing for the youma; she felt nothing as it burst into dust. It had ceased to be a Senshi the moment it became a creature of Chaos. The only thing to do at that point was to destroy it. That was simply a fact of life. More Senshi would die before this war was over. Not all of them could be saved.
The last clue was obvious. The funhouse. Lucasta doubted it would live up to its name, but she made her way toward it all the same.

Sadachbia was standing right there when the youma burst into dust, covering her with the foul stuff. For a moment, she just stood there, stunned. The creature had gone from alive to completely gone in a matter of seconds. The creature that had once been a human, now nothing more than dust.
She would not be given time to think more on what had happened; Megrez was walking forward. "Let's go. They're waiting for us. Let's move!"
When Megrez took off towards the funhouse, it was all Sadachbia and Glitnir could do to keep up with her.

At some point Falias realised that others had joined them, a super senshi in blue (Chaldene), a brown haired senshi in red, black and gold (Nephthys), a Mars Page (Glitnir) another super senshi (Megrez) and three other senshi (Sadachbia, Sidouer and Phact).
The youma didn't have a chance. Even with all its 'tricks' there was just too many against it. Some like him chose the physical method whilst others used magic including some sort of magic that took the form of what appeared to be bats.
Even the two kids, for all that he was uncomfortable with their presence, appeared to have some sort of system going to effective effect.
And then it was over, well at least this part was over because who knew what else the Negaverse had planned.
Others were heading towards the fun house.

But others were continuing to come and despite its nasty, painful 'tricks' the once senshi youma didn't have a chance - not with all of them pulling together to dust it.
And then it was done and the youma was gone, reduced to dust blowing on the fairground ground but not without giving them the final clue - the exact location. Others were already heading there, to the fun house, and like Ida and Tsui up ahead Liryn followed after his purplish eyes angry.
The Negaverse had done this, had created this abomination from one of their people but no more.
One way or another things were going to end and with the ending that he would accept - they were going to get the rest of their people back.

The once senshi youma had never had a chance, there were just too many of them against it.
No not it - him - he'd once been a person, someone with hopes, dreams and a life.
There were attacks from various sides, some physical, some magical and at the end of it the youma was dusted.
Athene could feel no happiness at the dusting though - he wasn't sure he'd ever feel happy at the dusting of a youma again.
For a few long moments he found himself staring at the dust on the ground and a promise made never to kill - a promise that had long ago been broken without him realising it.
Ida and Tsui were heading after those leaving, Liryn was following after and Athene knew that he could do no less - not when the Negaverse still had their people.
He hadn't been in time to save this particular senshi, but there were others who had been taken.
There was a determined look in his eyes as he followed after his team. He had failed this senshi by not being in time but he would everything he could to help the others taken - whatever it took.
