I've had art work stolen more than I have edits...... but the one time my edits were stolen was all my shop keeper npc avvys, and the guy wasnt giving me credit in his lil display of them, didnt ask for em to begin with, and was a dumb arse enough to.....one.....to post in a forum that doesnt allow people to off the bat to post there (extended feedback) and two.....have the gaul to claim that the official Ian shopkeeper sprite he drew..... stare
someone else spotted him for me and sent me a link, though they told him already to take em down cuz I wasnt recieveing credit and so forth. He didnt listen to her but I know how to set people straight. 3nodding My mistake was being nice at the end after I scared the crap outa him, because then he tried to ask to keep the edits anyway. stare
just be frank and flat and serious and make sure you are clear and short and its good to stick a frank lil threat on at the end of like mod powers and/or copyrights....or anything that gives the impression that you mean buisness. (I know I kinda fibbed about the copyrights, because I hold no copyrights to any avvy edits cuz they belong to gaia.......but w.e.....most people dont know a thing about copyrights......)

I had someone do that in the past with some custom Sailor Moon sprites I made. I asked her three times to take them down and everytime she said "I'm sorry! If I put up credit can I PLEASE keep them?" then she starting saying that I told her she could claim them as her own.... WTF... >.> The girl who did it is on Gaia now... and I am keep an eye on her... ninja

i have just attended to this:~Jade Dracos~ Hello Shocktv3, I am just reporting to you that someone came to my shop posting a banner asking if anyone wanted to buy some ava edits. I clearly saw the 4th hokage edit you did and shaolins Kakashi edit in amongst the others he had stolen and told him that he didn't do them. stressed He then editted his post and said he made them. sweatdrop  That is the banner he showed us. I am sure you know the other editiors who did the others. So i will allow you to inform them, i don;t want to bother a whole bunch of people His name is soren shishimitzo, and in his history he has been doing it elsewhere also. gonk The page showing his fraud And that is the page of my shop showing what he did and such. domokun I hope you get this. Wow, I'm still amazed at what some people will try...
He takes edits that are not at all consistent (art styles), and then he advertises it everywhere to spread this picture
Not to mention that he spelled Naruto wrong in his picture!

I finally got a response from soren shishimitzo
But I've noticed that everytime I have to deal with these issues, the suspect always claims to have gotten those edits from 'a friend' or 'someone', and they never tell me that person's name. I have also noticed that most of these people speak Ian's native language too...Well at least he apologized and said he will inform his 'friend' about the severity of taking other people's artwork.

Yeah.... thats what happened to me stare .....they said to me that a "friend" told them to do it.
In my case I dont really care what their "friend" said, if this mystery person isnt the one ACTING. Those who steal should be punished(kinda simple), and it doesnt matter their "friend" telling them to do it. >_> I wont stand for a trail of blame to follow......dont be fooled....its a distract tactic as they try to flee >o<

That guy is such a greedy, thoughtless b*****d. The only reason he set up that very vague RP (and I use the term RP loosely) is to ask people to buy things for him! He can't even make a decent sentence, for chrissake! This is a sad day for roleplay. Remind me never to leave this guild, ever. blaugh

inyo2.jpg This guy didn't even think about changing the names of the files that he steals. When I saw 'Meri-JLoGown' I was pretty sure it was referring to Meriko. Son of a...he stole the gifts that people made for me!!
He's going around advertising stolen edits in other people's mini-shops and asking people if they want to start a team with him. I didn't think anyone could pack so much stupid into one post.
