"She who must not be named," Roch drawled at the "lucky other" comment. "Honestly, as far as I'm concerned, I'm a single dad," he went on, looking with fondness at the boy entertaining two ghouls--until his little sister tackled one of them. "And, as y'can see, Terra finally finished helpin' out down in Los Muertos."

"El Padre is MUCH better!" Terra said happily, still hugging Yaya. It didn't look like she planned on letting go of her dance buddy. "Hola, Sobrino! Hola everyone!" she went on, giving Junko a huge, happy grin. "I am Terra!"

"ARRA!" Cisco said excitedly. "ARRA!" It looked like he meant Terra, because this was the first almost-understandable word he'd said. Then he went, "Deaddy, ARRA!"

"Yeah, Cisco, your Arra is here," Roch said, reaching over to mess up his hair. "But if you're not interested, that's fine, Marosa--also good t'see you're lookin' happy." Then he looked at Seiji again. "You seen Mikey lately?"

Yaya gave a rather startled yelp as she was suddenly jumped on, but she recognized that voice. "Terra!" She turned, twisting in the reaper's grasp, so she could wrap an arm around Terra's waist, pulling her into the hug as well. "Hey ghouly, where you been hiding?" Of course that question was answered by her brother a second after.

Cisco's reaction the sugar skull reaper had the djinn giggling. "Someone likes you." Though it seemed to Yaya that Cisco liked everyone. He was a cute kid.

She was quite thoroughly distracted with the girls and the toddler, but her attention did shift as Roach made an observation on Marosa's obvious happiness, and the ghoul couldn't help the pleased smile that lit up on dark lips.

Seiji had stepped back to give the reaper and fae a chance to greet each other, and was quiet as they spoke, but as Roch turned to him again he gave a small shake of his head. "Naw, man. Not since after prom." Which rather sucked considering how much they'd gotten to know each other in the lead up to prom. Seiji considered all his former band mates friends.

Junko laughed and looked down at Cisco. "Do you want her to hold you?" Jack, he was too cute for words. She bounced him on her hip to settle him more comfortably while shooting Seiji the most desperate little 'pleasenowpleasenowpleasenowpleeeeeeeasenownownow?' look. Scarelings. Scarelings. She wanted five hundred scarelings and she wanted them now. But she did turn back to Yaya and Terra after giving him her look.

She'd never actually met Terra before, but Junko wasn't going to interrupt her and Yaya's reunion.

Instead of answering, Cisco gave her a brilliant smile and reached for the hair again--because he had lured it into thinking he wasn't paying attention. But he was, hair, he WAS.

"Oh, he is fine!" Terra said, hugging Yaya for a few seconds later before heading for Junko, her hand out to shake. "Are you mi hermano's friend?" she asked curiously. "It is always good to meet more of my brother's friends!"

Not since prom--which prom?" Roch asked Seiji, completely distracted. "The one we played, or one that happened after I skipped out?"

The band was finishing up another song after the guest entertainers gave their all, and as soon as the song was over, the lead singer grabbed the mic.

"Hey, everyone! I know you're wondering what this is all about--and I'm about to tell you," he said. "Today is in celebration of the pride of the Scythe family--Cisco, little buddy, this one's for you!" he called over the mic. "Happy summoning day, kiddo!"

And to the audience's surprise, the guitarist pulled open a small box and started tossing out guitar picks to whoever wanted them.

Seiji avoided Junko's eye, knowing exactly the sort of look the ghoul would be throwing his way. He was aware, he wanted scarelings too. They still had to wait.

He did turn a grin down to Terra though. "Hey ghoulie, been a while. How you doing?" She'd been gone about as along as her brother, and the ghost was glad to see her back and in one piece.

"The prom we played at," he answered Roch, brow arching before he remembered the boil had been gone since just after that and was not aware that they hadn't had a prom this past summer. "There wasn't one this last year." A nice dance, yes, but no prom. Ah well.

Hadiyya smiled fondly after Terra had let her go, hanging now at Junko's side, though she did glance off towards her boilfriend, offering him a covert little wink.

Roch hoped back on stage, and both ghost and demon turned their attention up him, watching curiously as he announced the the party to be in celebration of Cisco's summoning day.

How dare you, Seiji. How dare you. There would be hell to pay later when they were out of public eye. Rest assured. But for now he was safe, she had a scareling in her arms.

"Meairmahno?" Junko blinked. What was a meairmahno? She looked down at Cisco, then at Yaya, then finally Terra again. "Oh! Roch? I know him, but he's more Seiji's friend, I don't know him very well on a personal level." I'm just here to steal his scareling, obviously. Nothing else. Good job on the diversion, Seiji.

A long tendril of hair came up to wrap around Yaya's upper arm, coiling the length of it. She looked up toward the stage when she suddenly heard Roch's voice calling out from it. When had he even--what! Junko gasped and looked down at the little boil on her hip. "Summoning day! Congratulations, Cisco!"

It was his cue, so Roch hopped on the stage, summoning his guitar. "That's right, ladies and gentlemen, my boil is a jackin' genius. Only a year and some change old and he's already summoned his first part of his scythe. Since the rat's already out of the bag, I might as well take over the mic for a moment--and sing my boil his favorite song."

Cisco grinned and started bouncing up and down as he heard his deaddy's voice--and when the most RIDICULOUS song started, he started cheering his head off.

"I'M A DOG AND I LIKE SOCKS" Roch roared, jamming with his guitar, the band backing him up for Dogs Like Socks. Apparently they knew it well.

"Me--" Terra stopped, letting out a little laugh before covering her mouth. "Sorry, I have not seen that reaction since I first came to school," she said to Junko. "I know Seiji! And I know Yaya, too! We have a wonderful time at prom together, no? And I am fine, I went home to take care of El Padre," she went on, glancing from Seiji to Yaya and back. "He is one of the ones that raised me--he is... getting old," she admitted.

"SOCKS!" Cisco yelled at his Deaddy, waving his arms over his head happily.

"At least he did not sing the song about the 'Ding-a-ling," Terra said with a sigh and a shake over her head.

Uru`baen

He'd make an argument as to why he was out and about this late, but this was one of his offnights of not-staying-at-the-Monster-Dorms. Instead of heading back to his own room, he took a stroll. It was then that he had stumbled upon some sort of revelry that he didn't need his enhanced hearing to tell what was going on. Fisting his hands into his pockets, he pushed himself onward intending to ignore it. He wasn't a social hound like his friend was, nor did he particularly attract individuals with his brimming personality, so such settings weren't on the top of his list of places to be. However, as he was passing, he had that silly nagging voice in his head over and over; "be social, go make friends or something!". The demon stopped in his tracks, closed his eyes, and let out an exasperated sigh before making a swift turn toward the area the sounds were coming from.

If he was going to regret it, he better make sure it was worth it.

Inside, it seemed like there were games - typical for Halloweeners it seemed - concerts, students and residence, and what seemed like ghouls fawning over someone. The music that was blaring was something about dogs and socks.

Lovely.

Usual put-off/offended expression? Definitely warranted.

Oh he dared. Deal with it.

He did finally look down though as Junko attempted to repeat the Spanish Terra had been speaking at her. It definitely didn't translate well with their natural Japanese accents. He snickered, rubbing a hand over Junko's back as she visited, the babe still in her arms. The ghoul didn't know Roch well yet, but now that he was back she would probably be seeing a lot of him, considering how close Seiji and the reaper had become before the other boil had ventured off.

Half paying attention to what Roch was saying up on stage, it caught him a bit off guard when the reaper boil started singing. He blinked, brows rising up damn near to his hairline as he listened to the song.

And if it hadn't been something for his son, the boil wouldn't have heard the end of it. Ever..

Hadiyya on the other hand didn't seem in the least phased by the song. She was stroking fingers along the hair that had coiled around her arm, leaning into Junko and Terra. As the monster ghoul gasped Yaya joined in the cheer, giving the scareling a soft little tap on the nose.

Terra's laughter had Junko blushing, and she found herself looking down at Cisco with a sheepish smile. Was it really that funny? Though Seiji's rubbing did help relax her again, and she leaned into the touch before allowing herself to lean toward Yaya again. That was about when..Roch started to sing.

Glowing green eyes widened as she turned a surprised look to the reaper. Wow. Well. Okay then. The things creeple would do for their scarelings. She smiled and looked down at Cisco as he yelled along with daddy, giving him a playful bounce on her hip like they were dancing. "Socks~!"

..Ding-a-ling? Junko choked on her own laughter. "Wh-what?!"

"Yeah, pretty ridiculous, I know," Roch said over the mic as he finished the song. "And for all you werewolves and hellhounds--that song's about a minipet, so try not t'be offended." He took his box from the other guitarist and flicked a few more picks out into the crowd--one dropped right in front of Uru's feet.

"Now before I get off stage, there's one more song I want t'sing my boil." He counted off the beats and started singing a slower song (for him at least.) And he turned and stared straight at Cisco when he sang the line:

To tell you the truth I miss everything, everything
It's a wild, wild beautiful world
But there's a wide eyed boil back there
And he means everything, everything.

Every time he sang "Save me San Francisco," Cisco would grin hugely--since that was his name.

"The ding-a-ling song should not be spoken of in public," Terra said with a very serious look. "It really should not be sung to a scareling--but Cisco loves it," she admitted with a sigh. There was a slight smile on her face since he was reluctantly amused.

"Ah. Very sorry." Marosa replied to the comment about playing an instrument, as well as the other comment, his smile faltering as Roch stated that he didn't want to name the other. His gaze shifted towards Hadiyya, a bit troubled. He loved her very much, but was it the scareling that separated them, or was it something else entirely?

Shaking his head to ward off the unwanted thoughts, he stretched a bit before sliding an arm around Hadiyya's shoulders, bumping his forehead into the side of her head affectionately. It was a shame, really.

"Hadiyya," He murmured softly, watching Roch jump onto the stage. "Oi would never put ye through that... but are ye having an interest in scarelings as well?" He was really out of the loop, and didn't know the first thing when it came to little ones. Good Jack, he could imagine it now. Little Marosas running around causing havoc and being as stupid as he was.

The faerie let out a breath, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I dinnae think oi'm ready for that."

The hand sliding along her shoulder had the djinn looking up, and the smile she wore for the fae boil flickered just a bit as she noted his expression. "Rosa." His cheek was warm beneath her touch, and as always she felt that subtle thrill of his magic. Not that she had anything to worry about, she was already very much in love with the boil.

His question had her turning her head, meeting soft eyes from inches away, though before she gave him an answer she'd turn an apologetic look to her ghoulfriends, slipping her arm from around Junko's waist so she could turn, facing the fae-boil. "Do you want scarelings?" They were both still in school, neither was ready to take on the responsibilities of becoming a parent, but someday, after they'd graduated.

With a gentle smile she cupped his cheeks between her palms, drawing him down so she could catch his lips in a kiss. ""One day," she mused, smile growing. "When we're married, and have a house." They would never allow their children to grow up in anything close to the circumstances Marosa had been forced to. They would be loved, and cared for, and spoiled rotten. If they were djinn, then they would learn early how to talk to water, and if they were like their father, they'd learn how to control their magic.

"Aye. Eventually." Marosa smiled at her, hugging her tightly. "Just... not boils." Though, to be honest with himself, his boils would end up a lot better than he had... learning fey games, but not mental fey games, and with a lot more love than he'd received from his father.

"Lots and lots of ghouls. Twelve of them." He couldn't contain his laughter as his body shook, and he leaned back to see Hadiyya's face. "Or more." That grin of his just spread, and he took her hand and squeezed it gently.

"Oi couldn't imagine anyone else spendin' the rest o' my life with." He paused. "... do ye want a ring?" He was clueless about marriage at this point.

Junko, who had been cooing to Cisco, suddenly stopped to stare at Yaya and Marosa with wide eyes and a dropped jaw.
