Sailor Ganymede – 171 – 19 = 152 HP – Attacking Captain Cipritine for 7 damage! “Excellent, Cruithne, great job!” Ganymede shouted her encouragement to the retreating Chibi.
A pumpkin to the shoulder may not be much, but it'd given her the opening she needed for her kick to land. She crowed in victory whether or not the battle was over yet. This was not a smart move by any means, when the opening she provided allowed for a well aimed kick between the ********>!” Ganymede cringed and fell to her knees, doubling over as her eyes watered.
For some completely inane and obviously not well-informed reason, Ganymede once thought a kick between the legs was only effective when done against people with junk in their pants. Experience now told her that she had been very, very wrong about that.
It also made her very, very angry compared to the singular angry from ******** hell, you b***h! s**t, do you have any idea—”
She didn't complete the sentence. It wasn't worth it. Besides, she was a little too distracted by the pain to string more than a few curses together.
“God damn piece of—... So does that make you the Black Swan to my White Swan?” Ganymede wheezed. “I hate to break it to you, shithead, but I sure as hell am not dancing the part of the dying swan today, so I suggest you back the ******** up and take your skank a** home before I beat the s**t out of you and grind the heel of my boot into your God damned face!”
Thus, Ganymede sprang to her feet and launched herself at the Captain in a spirited tackle that wouldn't have looked out of place on the football field.

Chibi Sailor Cruithne - 100HP: Targeting Draconic Youma Abrudas for 4 damage!
Cruithne wasn't entirely sure what had possessed her to scoop up a skull from the random bones littering the beach. She was even less sure what made her stare up at the dragon-y youma and decide to throw the skull at it.
Somehow, she'd found herself in a tiny bubble of peace within the fighting. Taking a deep breath, she wound up her arm and threw the skull with all her strength.

Eternal Athene: Current HP = 196[Athene is targeting Captain Cipritine for a total of 18 damage] It would have been nice if his and the Knight's combined strikes on the youma had dusted the thing outright, but Athene reckoned that it wouldn't take long to finish it off - not by the way the thing was flying almost drunkenly as keeping to the air was a struggle. For a moment he contemplated heading after the thing and finishing it - one less youma for them all to worry about, but in the end he decided that the Page with what looked to be a watch of some sort that it spiraled towards could handle it. It didn't look like it take much to dust it. As he waited for a response on his 'are you okay' question to the Knight, Athene found himself wishing that the magic or whatever it was that had whisked them here had at least given him a chance to grab his satchel. There was a first aid kit in there and even though it was basic it could still have come in handy. Although not as handy as healing magic he acknowledged to himself and both the purple-haired chibi and one of the super senshi had mentioned healing magic. Cursing had him glancing first in the direction he had last seen the Captain in, the one with the huge hunk weapon who Ganymede was facing off against and then back at the Knight "I'm going to help her" he said simply by way of explanation, adding "Thank you again for your help with that youma" and then he was turning and heading in Ganymede's direction. It wasn't that he didn't think that the blonde eternal could handle the Captain, because Athene reckoned that Ganymede was perfectly capable of handling a Nega-Captain. Instead he was thinking that two of them working together that they could hopefully force the Captain to retreat that much faster and at the very least it would force her to have to pick a target. A thought occurred to him and he looked back at the Knight for a moment as he called "A couple of the others here mentioned healing magic" before going back to cutting the distance between Ganymede, the Captain and himself. He got there just as the blonde eternal was tackling the Captain and moving in he settled for trying to awkwardly kick the Nega-Captain. Asclepius: [143/150HP] ... Targeting Abrudas (then Taetrus?) ... Of course the dragon could breathe fire.
The Senshi of Medicine threw her arms up in front of her face to try to deflect as many of the flames as possible, but of course this only resulted in singed forearms and smoldering ribbons. And hot bracelets. At least her seifuku would regenerate itself the next time she powered up. Her skin would take a bit longer, though, most likely.
Hissing between her teeth, she stepped back until the breath of fire let up, then lunged in again to aim a kick up under the dragon-youma's chin. She also spared a quick glance towards the hawk youma, checking on its health and planning a follow-up attack if the dragon went down.

Sailor Amphitrite - 74HP: Targeting Captain Cipritine for 1 damage! The closest Amphitrite had ever come to a burn was a sunburn. Those sucked. Those were awful and she would lay around grumbling about them until the skin started peeling. That was not this. She was ashamed to say she cried out again, just desperately trying to keep her face covered -- the only thing that worked in her favor was that one shell was still intact, but it was reduced to a black mess by the time that was over, and it didn't do anything for the rest of her. If someone else wasn't there, she didn't really know what she would have done -- but hopeful, she squirmed furiously to try and free herself of the weight of the youma on top of her. One of her stupid shell spiked shoes came off in the process; she happened to see the Captain, and knew she was fighting Ganymede. So on impulse, even if her arm was shaking, she threw her shoe to the winds of chance.

Sessrumnir — 189HP: Targeting Captain Cipritine for 36!
“Damn,” Sessrumnir hissed, pulling his hand away from his shoulder to see how much blood had soaked through the fabric already. He wrinkled his nose in a pained grimace, reaching up to unlatch the now torn cape from around his neck. It was normally a pointless accessory, but it did help for makeshift bandages.
“I’ll live,” was his response to the dark haired Eternal, using the tear in the fabric to rip the cape apart. “Probably,” he added with a grunt. The blanching of his face was in stark contrast to his expression. While it wasn’t like him to overreact to injuries during war time (if he reacted at all), he was now at a serious disadvantage with limited use of his arm.
Try as he might to hide it, his distress showed even as he tried to quickly wrap the strip of fabric from his cape around his injury. Over his shoulder, under his arm, around his back and chest to keep it from sliding off…. it would have been easier if he could actually grab hold of the wrapping as he tried pulling it tight… and he didn’t know how he’d manage to knot it properly.
Luckily, another knight joined in the fray to attack the youma, hopefully distracting it long enough to allow him and the eternal to regroup. He could see Ganymede and some others trying to take on the more powerful captain.
With another grimace, Sessrumnir heaved his stormglass up to rest against the palm of his hand, a storm brewing inside, but only he and possibly the Eternal could see if he looked into the glass as well…
Captain Cipritine would find herself in a strange setting of sudden darkness and fog; the sound and feel of rain pouring down, beating out any other noise…. And yet, it was all an illusion only she would witness. To everyone else, it was normal. Such were the effects of being caught inside the storm glass.

Castor 239 HP; Attacking Captain for 21 leaving her at 18 HP
Castor was excited at the aspect of bloodshed, the fact that others were getting hurt did have him pause, yet not long enough to really pay all that close of attention. "Aw, see now I'm feeling a little bit out of this gang bang."
He swung the now clean tiara on his finger lazily, amused at how quick they were to dash in to attack a singular target. How quick to, under pressure, act no better than thugs.
Ganging up on a single being, all to break them, to kill them. How pretty they would talk until faced with the reality- then the talk became little lies they told themselves to make themselves feel better.
Ironies, histories written by victors. By murderers. Setting his tiara back on his head, the royal licked the blood that had begun to dry on his face, the taste of metal familiar in ways that should not have been.
He laughed as ice formed on his fist, thickening as he muttered under his breath. His attack was designed to hurt, to maim, to kill. "I wonder how they'll paint your grave captain. How they'll call you a martyr for the cause. How will they write you in history-as an upstanding officer or saint?" He swung his fist upwards at her spine, happy enough to attempt flank the agent and cripple her if he could. Shards of ice flickering off his hand and arm, landing in sand like glass. Some, going so far as to lacerate his own skin.
"The question left now I suppose, is which one of us will do the honors and make you nothing but a name on a gravestone." He laughed bitterly, shaking his head as he walked back towards Pollux, who remained fixed, ready to defend before attacking. "This isn't even a challenge. They could have at least sent us more."
Pollux's scowl was steady, his annoyance at his elder sibling apparent. "They will, and then you can do as you like. Until then-" "Blah blah get organized and get on the defense to ready an offense jesus christ you're a stickler."

[[Wonderland Page - 99 HP - attacking Capt. Cipritine for 5 dmg]]
Wonderland wailed, fleeing the falling youma - and she mostly managed to get away, too, except for the edge of wing that clipped her and left long scratches on her arm. She retrieved her pocketwatch and looked around, but it seemed all the youma were exhausted. If she wanted to do her part, she'd have to go after the captain.
Well, throwing her weapon had worked alright the first time. She wound up again, spinning the watch on its chain, and let it fly once more.
To her surprise, it managed to connect.
Which begged the question of what they were going to do with the captain once they knocked her down. They weren't going to kill her, were they? Oh, no. Oh no, no, no. That would be terrible. Oh, no.

Draconic Youma Abrudas is dusted! Cruithne's skull crashes into the gaping maw of the dragon, catching it there. It attempts to breathe more fire, and only roasts itself for its efforts. Hawk Youma Taetrus is dusted! Taetrus doesn't Asclepius's attack gracefully. In fact, it crashes to the ground like a rock and dies. Humanoid Youma Digeris has been dusted! Captain Cipritine [150 - 39 - 9 - 1 - 7 - 18 - 1 - 36 - 21 - 5 = 13HP] targeting Eternal Sailor Ganymede! [25dmg] Cipritine laughs. She's still laughing when she goes down under Ganymede. "Are we going Natalie Portman on this," she asks, but the laughter fades under the barrage of attacks. Athene's kick, a shoe, a ******** rainstorm, a fist of ice and then a pocketwatch--but she keeps going, kneeing Ganymede again as she summons a violet crystal to hand. "It's gonna be okay," she says, but the words are meant for herself--and maybe a little for the horrified Pluto page--"Gonna be fine."

"You could always leave you know." Castor said, conversationally as he leaned on Pollux. "Don't have to join us. I could remove the grasp they have on you, let you start over. Or you die for a cause that will write you off. Another corpse to line history's unspoken victims. Victors don't even remember the fallen. They use your death to their own ends, they forget who you were, what you were." Castor looked at her, crouching to reach her eyes to his own. "You still have that choice. End it on their terms, or end it on your own. I don't want to save you, make your a knight, make you do anything. All I do is give that choice the power."

Cipritine looks towards Caster and smiles, a little bitterly. Her teeth are stained blood red and yellow, and her perfect lipstick is smeared dark over her face. "This is my choice," she croaks. "I am--I was--Coradine. Of Pluto. I don't think you can go back once you take the black." Her attention returns to Ganymede. "C'mon," she says. "Before my sisters find out and come to kill you."

Pollux's stance shifted, as did Castor's. Frost remained guarded, while Hail stood looking down upon the captain, expression shifting to sadness. "I am sorry then." The royal sighed, his gaze turning sharp. "You are Cordaline as much as you Cipritine. You are a soldier fighting in a war. If it is your choice to die, then stand up and face your enemy. Die looking your enemy in the eye. Die, but don't let them forget you." He turned, walking away from those gathered. Pollux debated it. "......" Then he spoke, finally addressing the agent of chaos. "You've given up." His posture loosened, gaze at the blood soaking into the ground. "I am sorry that you have been caught in our war."

Sailor Ganymede – 152 – 25 = 127 HP – Attacking Captain Cipritine for 10 damage! (Way to go, Ganymede, you can't even finish the job.) How Ganymede managed to avoid any of the attacks meant for the Captain, she had no idea. With no other explanation, she chalked it up to dumb luck and left it at that. The important thing was that she was still in one piece, after all.
The Captain's knee came up but Ganymede shifted to avoid it and managed to catch it in the stomach instead of another round between the legs. It knocked the breath out of her momentarily. She wheezed and coughed until air returned to her lungs—briny and carrying the scent of rot, but cool against and within a body that burned. She ached all over but hadn't the time to take stock of her injuries. This wasn't over yet.
That Castor paid no heed to her close proximity to the Captain did not surprise Ganymede in the least. She'd long resigned herself to nothingness in his eyes. It riled her, but she held her tongue during his exchange with the Captain, using the moment to catch her breath and determine the best way to knock the Captain unconscious.
“Something tells me your sisters would be happy to kill me no matter what,” Ganymede said. “That seems to be your M.O., in any case. I hope you don't expect me to feel sorry for you, because the only thing I feel right now is pride, because I'm going to win, and you and your sisters and whoever you have helping you are going to fail, just like you always do.”
Ganymede spat into the Captain's face. She smirked victoriously. It wasn't one of those pretty little smiles she showed the world as Paris, nor was it the sort of self-satisfied grins she wore whenever she dusted a youma. This was arrogant and nasty, not quite vicious, but leaning close to it.
Her hand grasped a nearby rock as she prepared to climb to her feet. Ganymede stumbled in the process, weighed down by fatigue. She didn't think at all as she stepped toward the Captain—not what she meant to do, or how she meant to get home, or what they were all even doing there. She stared right into the Captain's eyes and straightened her posture as if to prove herself capable of another round.
“You had a choice,” she agreed, “and you just looked it in the face and let it walk away.”
Ganymede struck her then. Her arm flung out, too quick to stop, and brought the rock she held against the side of the Captain's head.

Nyx [93HP] targeting Captain Cipritine for 8 damage! Their combined attacks on Abrudas were devistating, at last piercing through its defenses. However, what they were left with was a horribly wounded, dying thing, and that breeds a rather heinous form of desperation. When fire crackled from the youma's mouth, Nyx fell back and brought up her thick gloves to defend against the worst of it. Her eyes were still a bit wide and boots a bit deeper in the sand as the heat subsided, clipped short by the dreary weather of the shore. Glancing around her defense, rather than more billowing plumes of fire, she saw the youma crumble into its own meat, ashes, bone, and ontop of the other senshi. Nyx waited long enough to see her wiggle out from under the remains (plucky, she thought) before taking in the rest of the battlefield. Hn. Only the captain remained. She hovered on the fringes of the fight, nearby the Royal and his seemingly extra appendage. The urge to help Ganymede was certainly there, but there were so many attacks flying in the vacinity already and there was little to say if any of them had trained together before. Friendly fire, confusion, self-destruction could be just as dangerous. She would wait for a signal from Ganymede, at all else, before interfering. A signal, she told herself, skin shivering with a subdued flinch as blows landed between them. When the Royal spoke, Nyx quirked an eyebrow. It was a fair offer - she had far less qualms than most for killing those that would have killed her. But this one did appear quite fond of bloodshed. Nonetheless, the Captain's choice made it a moot point. Ganymede's vicious blow to the Captain's head - by now possibly fueled entirely on spitfire, willpower, and pure enmity - should have been the end of it. Nyx readied herself to go to the Jovian, call over the chibi to have her patched up if need be. But like the draconic youma they simply didn't stop. The senshi of phantasmagoria took that as her sign, and flicked out her magic with little fanfare. She wanted this over. "Timerous Shadow." Quote: The target begins to feel an ominous presence with the entrance of a creature made of darkness and wild paranoia. - It generally appears to be the size/shape of a medium canine, though with some... off-putting features such as elongated legs, joints out of place, and tendrils of black licking off of it. - The attack is unable to take an entirely visible/physical form; instead it stalks about the target: showing interest from a distance, brushing against them, and making noises in order to distract them. - It brings with it a great sense of unease, anxiousness. This may manifest in a way true to the other character/youma. - Duration: 1 minute. - Cannot block an attack. It will simply pass through. - Non-sentient.
