He smiled and gave the other hunter a once over as well. "I know you're not a lackey or anything of the sort, Jan." Logically, he knew that Jan defending America had been correct. Logically. He squeezed Jan's arm briefly. "You'd think there would be some sort of way to tamp down on the insanity emissions here..." He muttered to himself. At very least, they definitely needed to develop some sort of fear and insanity filtering masks.
"No need, I do at least read everything thoroughly." Did Jan think he was stupid? Clutching his pendant, he spoke the words to go home. Horace did not wait for the others.

She gave Horace a tight smile and then turned to Lawr, "Already did so ********." Still waiting, America pulled out her own phone and sent a text to Taym, warning him of her imminent return and all that would entail.

The claws flashed with further intensity, the runes flaring up in vivid white.
But then they sputtered and went out. He desummoned Butch. There would be other chances.
He looked her up and down, watching her text for a few moments before he stated coldly, without the pretence of accent. "If I could hate you, mark my words I would."
And then grasping the pendant he left.
