 Monochrome didn't expect a response to his question. Returning to chair next to the bed, he held Katio's hand gently in his. Katio's hand was so small in his that he felt Katio's fragile-ness intensify inside him.
Monochrome felt the guilt inside him grow. It was his fault that Katio felt emotionally insecure. Still holding his hand, Monochrome rested his head on the side of the bed closing his eyes. A heaviness washed over him before he fell asleep still holding onto Katio's hand. XxXIrrelivent_InsanityXxX

Monochrome woke up as he lost touch of Katio's hand. Looking around, he sees Katio gone. Rushing out of the room, Monochrome rushes down halls until he finds Katio. "Katio! You can't leave like this! You'll catch a cold if you go like this. Besides, you do not need to escape. The doctor said you could go home after you woke up. Just wait a little longer until he discharges you," he said as he placed a hand on his shoulder.XxXIrrelivent_InsanityXxX

Monochrome felt his heart break that they gave him pills to control Katio. As the doctor signed the paperwork to discharge Katio, Monochrome vowed to never use them. He rather struggle with Katio than make him lose that life that he still had within him.
After everything was settle, Monochrome and Katio left the hospital to return to the school. He didn't know how long the medication would last so he didn't order Katio to do anything he said. He asked instead. "Katio, do you want to go to your room or the club room when we arrive back?" he questioned, leaving the option to him.

Monochrome sighed as Katio didn't answer. "We'll go to the dorm for tonight. You can do what you wish. I shall be in my room doing paperwork." he said as they pulled into the school. Parking his car, he climbed out as he waited for Katio.
As they walked down the halls to their room, he ran a hand through his hair feeling exhausted. They entered their dorm. Monochrome went into the kitchen to drink a glass of water.

Monochrome could feel his heart tighten painfully inside his chest when he turned to look at Katio. Thinking he glanced at Katio. Maybe drinking enough water would dilute the medication. "Katio, I want you to at least eat an apple. After that, drink a lot of water before going to your room. You can read manga or watch anime. You can sleep as well if you wish. If you need the bathroom just go, you do not need to ask me. Just be careful alright?" he said, the guilt increasing inside his chest.
Couldn't the doctor have given him something else rather than this? "I shall be in my room. If you need anything just come into my room." With that, he left for his room, feeling his heart break during the process. Closing the door, he closed his eyes before going to his desk and working on paperwork.XxXIrrelivent_InsanityXxX

Monochrome was working on finishing the remaining papers he was grading when he heard Katio coughing in his room. Feeling a sense of unease, he left his room to go check on Katio. The door was locked. Cursing under his breath he went back to his room to grab some pins. Kneeling in front of the door, he starts picking the lock until it unlocks.
Walking inside, he sees Katio in his bed coughing and breathing heavily. Going to him, he touches his forehead to only curse again. He was running a fever and coughing blood. Rushing out the room, he goes to the bathroom to grab some medication, cooling pads and a glass of water.
Going back to him, he places everything back onto the small table next to the bed. "Katio, take this. It should help you with your fever," Monochrome said as he handed him the glass of water and pills. Grabbing the cooling pads, he places one on his forehead. Noticing the blood, his heart squeezed even further. Taking the blanket, he goes into the laundry to put it to wash. Grabbing a fresh blanket from the cabinets, he goes into the room once more. He pulls the cover over Katio once more. Monochrome gently lifts Katio to add more pillows behind him so he won't suffocate from the blood.
Monochrome greatly wanted to take him to the hospital but decided against it since the last time he took him. He would try to help him first, if he doesn't break his fever by tonight he would take him back. Monochrome once more leaves the room to grab a bowl and fill it up with cool water and a towel. Returning, he wipes at Katio gently with it in hopes to cool him off.XxXIrrelivent_InsanityXxX

Monochrome held Katio's hand throughout the night. Changing the cooling pad for a new one, he continued to wipe as Katio to cool him down. He places a gentle kiss on Katio's forehead as he moves his hair aside.
Relaxing slightly, he moves his hand and covers him to keep the warmth inside the bed. Running a hand through his hair, he goes to the kitchen to make him some porridge. He knew that Katio wouldn't eat it, but he rather he ate even a little before taking the medication again to help with his fever. XxXIrrelivent_InsanityXxX

As Monochrome was making the food, he heard the shower turning on. He felt the urge to go check on him, but knew that Katio would like to be left alone for a while.
When he finished the food, he covered it to preserve the heat before going to his room to finish working on the paperwork, keeping an eye on the time. Every now and than he would check the time before working.
It wasn't until an hour later that the water was still running. Leaving his room, he grabs a towel before walking into the bathroom. Katio was under the water crying with his clothes still on. Monochrome turned off the water before wrapping the towel around Katio. Picking him up, he took him to his room before placing him onto his bed.
Silently, he grabbed some more towels and a change of clothes. Quietly, he dried Katio with the towel before pulling off the wet clothes. Once they were off, he quickly covered him with a towel. Working on drying his hair, he moved Katio to the seat inside his room before changing the sheets of the bed.
He helped him with putting on a shirt and underwear before tucking Katio back into the bed. Grabbing the wet clothes and towels, he placed them into the hamper before going back into the kitchen to get a small bowl of porridge. Returning to the room, he placed the bowl onto the small table once more. Spooning out a small section of food, he held it out to Katio. "Please eat a small portion of the food before you go to sleep. It will help you once you take the vitamin pill that you need to take." Monochrome murmured softly. XxXIrrelivent_InsanityXxX
