Either way, it was fun, and she needed them to play her games with Rhapsody. Was it a game? Oh, well, it was now. One where she had to hide.
Within seconds her bright frame was completely engulfed in the puffy white clouds separating the land from the earth. A great amount had massed over the land and threatened to stretch completely across the land. Perhaps a storm brewing? Again, Flick was not thinking of such things. Her focus now was the game and circles. Which were still fun to do. Even in the clouds.
Though, as fun as clouds were, they were impossible to see anything in. She had to trust that where she was flying would be void of obstacles. The air seemed weird when something of an obstacle was coming up, that was something to pay attention to. As much as she could spare from being amused with clouds and games, maybe circles as well...
Cain cracked his good eye open to see the underside of his wings. The veiny membrane still a glow with the light on the other side. It was still too bright for him to unfold his wings and continue his task. The cursed sun had risen too soon for him to complete his task and return home. He could not fly that fast, and he refused to return until all his appointed jobs were completed fully.
Once more he closed his eyes and tightened his wing around his frame. The comfortable rocky roost he had found was little more than a shallow cave nestled inside a rocky hill. Enough to provide shelter from the sun and any fool that may try to pick a fight.
Though not as impressive as the caves at home, it was just large enough to fit his bulky frame standing. Curled up and laying down it was a cozy place to lay.
He drew a breath. Soon... the light was not intense. He would be able to leave soon.
