She watched him as he showed her using the rod he was going to use on how to cast it. "Um I think so...so you do it like this?" She asked as she cast it out. Being her first time it didn't go very far, but otherwise it seemed to be pretty good. "It didn't go as far as yours..."She pouted softly.

Jack nodded when Seki spoke, watching as she cast her line out into the water. It didn't go very far, but for her first try, it was pretty good. He couldn't help smiling slightly as she pouted about how far she had cast her line. "Maybe not, but it was pretty good for your first try," he told her, then turned his gaze to his bobber.
Seki smiled lightly and took a seat and watched her bobber as well. "So Jack. How long have you lived in this area?" She asked smiling softly. She was wondering more because she was hoping he would know about some hotsprings.
It would be nice to take a dip after the fishing they would be doing. maybe after they got the little guys home and in the fridge or freezer. She smiled contently.

Jack stroked his chin thoughtfully as he pondered Seki's question. "Let me see, now," he said, trying to think back to when he'd first arrived at the manor. "I left home when I was eighteen, and I've been living here since I was twenty, so about five years. And yes, there are some hot springs around here, but they're in the forest, mostly. I can show you one or two after we get done here, if you'd like."
She listened to him as he spoke and nodded with a smile. "Could we? It would be fun." She says smiling and looked to him excitedly. And then a thought occurred to her. "You lived here for five years? Alone?" She asked curiously. She hoped she wasn't prying too much but she was curious to learn more about him.

Jack nodded when Seki asked if they could go to the hot springs. "I wouldn't mind taking a dip in one, myself," he said. He nodded again when Seki asked if he'd been living alone. "Aye, I've been living alone for five years," he said. "It hasn't been that bad, since I like being by myself most of the time. But there were times that I got lonely, and it'll be nice to have someone to talk to now and then. I had a maid that would come in once a week to cook and clean, but she quit a couple of months ago because her family moved away. I'd planned on finding someone else, but just hadn't taken the time to do so. Most of the time, I spend my time here or in the library, since I like to read, as well." He fell silent for several minutes before looking back at Seki. "What about you, Seki?" he asked. "Do you like to read?" Just as she was curious about him, he wanted to know more about her.
Seki listened to him and smiled softly. "I like to read but I didn't get too much of a chance to while in the cages of that shop." She says with a smile. Before standing up to stretch a moment while they were still fishing. "This is relaxing." She says smiling softly.

Jack smiled slightly when Seki said she liked to read, but didn't get much of a chance while in the shop. "The library's always open, if you want to read in there sometime," he said. He watched as she stood and stretched before sitting down again. He nodded when she said fishing was relaxing. "That's why I come out here often," he said, returning his gaze to his bobber. "It gives me a chance to think, without much interruption. Sometimes, I'll come out here just to meditate."
"You're kinda all about the relaxing part of life aren't you?" She asked jokingly. "it's nice...sometimes the more busy you are the more you are stressed out, though I will say for me dancing is what I find relaxing. To see that look on people's faces when they watch me perform. It's such a great feeling to know I made other people happy." She says smiling more. "who needs wings when you can walk on the wind." She added with a smile.

Jack nodded when Seki asked if he was all about relaxing. "It's not good to go through life worrying all the time," he said. "Besides, living all the way out here, there's not much to do, other than read, watch TV, or go fishing or swimming." He looked over at Seki when she mentioned that dancing was a way she was able to relax. "I thought you might have been a dancer at one time," he said. "You've got the fluid motion that most dancers have."
