Yes, it really was a simple wish, to tell the truth - but what else was there for a Gehaka? They were not allowed to do so many things, not as the Haka were. Their ability through life was limited through their Haka - and if you had no Haka, then you could not make a dream, for only the ones based around the limits given to you would ever come true. If a Gehaka wanted to make his dreams, he had to dream of a Haka that would be good to him. Simple as that.
"I'd not have it any other way, Master Sato," he breathed, shifting his wrist some as his eyes glanced down to the bracer. Though he may have been eager to find a Haka, he had always been patient in presenting himself the right way to the right one. He knew which ones would be the kindest or the most sensible, which ones would suit him well. Noriko seemed to suit him just fine, more than so in fact.
"Three days," he breathed, biting on his lips as he nodded his head, storing the information into his mind so he'd not forget. His mother would be pleased to here - so little time outside his home and already snatched up, and by one not so different than himself. Did everyone marry someone like their mother?

Noriko looked quite pleased with himself, finding such a rare gem amongst the grains of sand, as he'd said before. His own mother would be proud, and now he could get his small estates set up. Tiny, even. But he would somehow make everything better, he would do well in life. If only because that was what he strived for.
And in marrying someone like his mother? Hardly so. Though in comparison to his gehaka fathers? Makoto was quite different. Friendly to him and calm, good at telling stories. He would just have to test this other's strength, though.
"Yes... three days and we will move in together, you will be my Gehaka and no other's." Very pleased indeed.

He nodded as he shifted his legs a bit, slowly bringing the cup of tea back to his lips, trying to familiarize himself with the feel of a bracer clasped so tightly around his wrist. It was an odd feeling, and it would probably be a bother during his extensive work with so many hard and laborous tasks, but in some ways it was a large relief. He no longer had to look out for a Haka trying to claim him while he was busy getting something done - and the best of all was that he had found one not so unlike himself. Higher in respect and standards, but their cores were not so very different. Not, at least, from what he had seen so far.
Perhaps it was only the Gehaka doomed to marry like their mothers did, perhaps the Haka themselves turned into their mothers. Whatever the case, he was thankful that his own mom was not one in a million - he didn't know how he would fair with someone unpleased with his developed mind. He could have been punished for his words or actions, though, he still could be - even if he doubted it.
"Alright, three days and I shall move in with you," he breathed, wings unfolding for a moment to stretch out behind him. Holding them tucked so tight and neatly always made their working joints cramped. He was used to using them, especially when patching roofs or other such high-leveled tasks. When they sat still too long it was highly uncomfortable.
"How many other Gehaka shall I be joining?" he asked quietly, suddenly remembering that he may not by far be the first. Though this one was still young, he could still expect two or three Gehaka perhaps. After all, they had no say when a Haka claimed them. None at all really, unless some other Haka of a higher standard had his claws sunk in first.

Enju's eyes widened a little, his frame unmoving. How funny was this going to look? Oh well, if he offered he was going to take it. He just needed someone to steady him was all. Enju bowed thankfully, not too low but just enough to offer proper thanks and gratitude.
"Thank you Akimatsu-sama, I am in your debt."
Enju was of course, very aware that the Haka couldn't provide much of a crutch but he slowly placed his hand on his shoulder to balance.

Reizo flicked his hand in a gesture that signified something like 'forget it', bracing himself against whatever weight Enju was going to put on him. He looked up at the Gehaka, tilting his head to one side. "Are you ready?"

Careful sips were leading him to almost be done with his first cup of tea, he could honestly lull around for hours drinking tea and doing nothing else, especially in the sunshine. Though he'd decided he could not sit still for much longer today, he was very excited and had a good boost of energy. His first Gehaka! He hoped his mother would be pleased with his selection.
"Ah, you are my first Gehaka. So zero." He smiled slightly, glancing to Matoko. It was odd, how quickly Haka left their nests, so to speak. One moment tucked in the safety provided by their mothers and the next latching onto a gehaka and making a place in the world around him.
Oh! The wedding called for shopping, something Noriko was very excited about. He would look magnificent... he placed down his empty cup and tapped at his lips, thinking. He supposed Makoto's mother would buy the wedding clothing for him, though he was uncertain. He would have to go over this with his own mother.

Makoto never really got the chance to sit around and drink tea, he never had the chance for such leisure time. He was usually either working or on his way to work - he did rather enjoy this, though. Still, even as it were, he was unaccustomed to staying indoors for long periods of time with the exception of sleeping. He felt out of place, but as long as Norito wanted to stay here he would obey.
Obey, what a funny word.
"Well then, I am doubly thankful," he said with the most gentle of laughs, taking another - and the last - sip of his tea. "I don't know how I'd act around other Gehaka, most of the time we have very little in common, and so as much, they're not often fond of me." Though, he supposed now it wouldn't matter if a Gehaka he shared a house with was fond of him - it was the Haka he lived with that pulled all the strings.
As he sunk into throught, though, Makoto settled his eyes on him. He knew that look, knew it pretty well in fact, there was an older smart Gehaka - the first of his mother's he thought - that often looked that way when he was trying to explain something. He must have something on his mind. Though, he would not say anything else, it was not his place for now. If Norito wanted him to know, then he would say - asking was probably prohibited.

"Right then, work." He murmered absently, standing slowly and waiting for Makoto to do the same. After the other stood he moved to the door, giving a small bow of thanks to the haka mistress of the tea house.
He waited to be helped into his zori and moved into the street in the small, gliding steps. "Do you have to get back to your work?" Of course, if Noriko requested that the other say he would, putting his work aside. He was just curious, really. And if he honestly did need to get back to work noriko would send him off for now, he could ask one of his mother's gehaka to retrieve him when he was in need of his services. Until the wedding, of course. Then they would be together much more often.

Makoto simply bowed as well to the Haka mistress that had been so kind as to serve them, then moved to pull on his own shoes before hurrying after his soon to be mate. He kept close, and once he wasn't hurried to keep up any longer, he seemed to melt back into his calm state without worrying so much - but still a pace behind to his side. Always conscious of those around him.
"I do, actually, have some work that I need to attend to," he whispered, bowing slowly to the Haka before him, "I was on my break when I chanced meeting you. I need to finish thatching a roof, if, of course, that is alright with you Master Sato?" He stared up at him, still bowed, through his white wisps of beautiful hair.

He waved his hand slightly. "It's fine, perhaps I will call on you tomorrow to spend some more time with you.." He murmered, letting it trail off.
"I have a request though, I'd like you to wair your hair down on the day of our joining." He murmered, smiling slightly as his eyes danced along the white strands. "If that's all." He murmered before turning and heading down the street with out so much as a goodbye, but that was just Noriko for you.

Enju' was enjoying the situation a bit too much. He was forcing himself to keep quiet and not engage the rather sweet Haka into a conversation. Maybe he could coax it out of him, but he didn't know how. The Haka was just there ti give him so balance, making sure he didn't leave to much on the fragile thing. He couldn't help himself as a grinned escape him, starting to walk slowly down a pretty secluded path to his own family's garden which lied behind his shop where he could rebandage himself.

As long as they were not talking, Reizo merely glanced at the scenery around him, wanting to get back to the studio desperately. Funny, wasn't it, that he was so anxious to leave Enju's company so that he could work on a picture that featured the very person.
He might tweak it so that the features themselves were of no specific Gehaka. There was no reason to glorify this particular person, though he was good-looking.

Enju's mouth twitched as he forced the grin off. He was suprised how exciting it was to be escorted by a Haka to his home. He had always viewed them as untouchable. So touching the Haka of course made him a little riley. Thankfully, his wound had slowed in its bleeding so the Haka's kimono was safe. For now. He kept his eyes pinned away from the Haka, wings shifting restlessly behind his back. Oh how he wanted to talk to the Haka, but it was out of the question. He wasn't good enough to speak to a Haka and that was that.

The silence stretched until it was uncomfortable, Reizo tossing his head finally. His eyes slid from the scenery to the Gehaka he was helping, and then down to the badly-patched wound on Enju's chest. "A training wound, you said?" The artist inquired haughtily. "It must have been quite a session." He quite often watched the training sessions of his mother's Gehaka because the beauty of swordplay was inticing to him. Rarely had he ever seen so many wounds on a Gehaka after one of the sessions that took place at his home.

Enju had found a strip of flowers that he thought were quite pretty and was slightly startled by the Haka's voice. His wings has flexed open slightly in reaction, making him smile weakly and pin his wings closed once more.
"Ah! Yes, I was practicing disarming opponents. I'm not one for weapons, I enjoy hand-to-hand. It comes in handy if you don't have a weapon near you if your suddenly attacked."
Enju would have gone on to slightly brag about his wound and how long it took his mother's prize Gehaka to finally wound him but he kept quiet, eyes downward in thought.
