I feel both RWD and html5 would solve a lot of issues the site has (for mobile users moreso), but I understand the caveats that come w/ redesigning a legacy system. Yes Lanzer Weenie Hut Franchise FeaturesI've noticed that some pages on the site have a fixed width. Will the forums also be getting that feature? It would be helpful since people have different screen resolutions. I was under the impression that people wanted variable screen width for the forum. If not we can certainly change the format. (multiple users replied to this confirming that they do NOT want fixed-width forums.)

October 18th, 2017: Lanzer Kazuma Ishimaru FeaturesIt's been a hot minute since the buttons changed on the site but I still haven't gotten use to them. I think it's just because they still stand out so much. Will we be getting more modernization of site parts to fit in with that new style? (sooner or later?) We're working on a header that will resize properly to mobile or tablet, and there will be some stylistic changes to that also. eek The forum mobile pages should also be ready next week. Those pages will look very different when on mobile. Lanzer Knight Yoshi BugI posted about this already in the pre-thread for this, but I want to make sure it doesn't get overlooked. When are you finally going to remove the padding from the .linklist element? This has been an on-going issue for Firefox users for many years now that causes the View Moderators link to be pushed down and behind the subforum list.  Thanks for the report! It should be fixed now.

I don't really have a question, but I finally got around to coming to the ATS to tell you about a glitch, or design flaw, on Gaia's homepage. You know the new colored buttons you updated the forums and other places with around the website? Well, on the yellow button on Gaia's homepage, there is a big line cutting through it that literally slices the button in half. For a homepage that gives a first impression of a website, that is not a very good thing to have on there. I think it was the yellow "Join" button that has this design flaw. I think I have also spotted the same button problem on the Gifting Page. Just wanted to let you guys know is all! Keep up the great work! emotion_kirakira Whoops, that should be an easy fix. I'll look into it later this week. whee

Right now we do have a quickie gift-gifting option, but it redirects to La Victoire for cash shop presents. Its the holidays and I love to play Santa so pls ho-ho-hold this suggestion in your festive thoughts. 🎅🎄🎄 That's a really cool feature! I'll look into implementing that, but deadline for Christmas event is pretty close and it might not make it for this event.

It's annoying the ever loving hell out of me, and it can't be that hard to add, I don't imagine. gonk We did at one point, but there was a large amount of negative feedback about it because it broken existing post styles and messed up post formats for others.

Hi there, As far as tabs go, I currently have 19 open in one browser, 5 open in another (I know, I have a tab addiction, don't judge me! smile ) and it hasn't slowed down my machine so I don't think it's number of tabs that is the issue. Jak Bauer 2sammygate i have hundreds of tabs open, to keep track of my vends. i use firefox-based browsers. how much RAM do you have, though? and how many of those tabs are gaia tabs? Hi there, All but one of the tabs of the 19 are Gaia and all of them in the other browser are Gaia, and 8 Gigs ram, not an excessive nor small amount these days.

Gaia had way too many features built over time, and many were written in different formats throughout the years, so night mode for the whole site would be really difficult. Lanzer Fibonacci To Infinity ForumsI was wondering if Forums would ever be updated with a "Dark/Night Mode" option. It would most definitely modernize the forums more. We'll look into doing that for the forums. Hard to do it across the whole site though. sweatdrop

April 3rd, 2018: it amy Sight Ninja This isn't necessarily a suggestion, but there used to be a Gaia Lab feature that when you did the Konami code, your avatar would shake, drop down, and run off the page. TBH, I mostly was wondering if this code still existed somewhere because I've since lost it and it would be funny to recreate it. So basically I had this same question a few months ago, if you had it turned on (from all those ages ago) it still works! But only if you had it turned on from back then!

May 22nd, 2018: Lanzer jenru SiteI asked several months ago if we could get an icon for runway on the actual Games page, instead of it just in the drop menu. The answer was yes. is it still happening? don't know how complicated it is, but many times on my mobile its hard to get the drop menus to work. (more of a nudge, 'do you remember' than a question) would love a tip just to know this was seen. It fell through the crack as we had more feature requests and bug fixes than anticipated. It'll be there soon!

We will remove the ad on mobile and for all Gaians who spend GCash.
