Helmut was more or less delighted by the change in scenery; she lost one horrible reaper-shaped pain and gained a whole lot of shining lights and spinning things. If there was ever a good place to escape to, this was it. Even though Xavier was with her, and he had been momentarily downgraded from bestest of awesome friend to...well, she wasn't sure, but she was pretty sure it was gross, because that's what courting was. And dating, and sometimes boils, and marriage, and kisses. Gross. All of them. Blegh.

Still, she didn't want him to leave her alone, so there was that.

"THAT ONE FIRST!" She cried, pointing at the spin the wheel game before she ran at it, letting go of Xavier and trusting that he was going to follow. Once she was there, she grabbed the wheel, and pulled.

Sadly, she won nothing.

"Ah," Barth said. "Unlabeled chemicals. Well, this should prove...exciting."

He put together an arbitrary combination of frothy colors (sorted mostly by the nearest few). His beaker simmered, before bubbling over.

"Not very precise in their measuring equipment either, are they. Err." He sipped some of the sticky liquid from his claws.

"Hmm. Sweet. Is that...no, not quite ectoplasm. Makes your tongue...ring a bit, doesn't it?" Barth pulled a face. "And your...nose."

"LUUCKKYYY!" Helmut screeched loudly, maybe a little too enthusiastic in her attempts to get things back to normal. She chewed on her fingers after, standing on tip toes to watch him get a ticket, only a little green with envy. Oh well, there was plenty other things to try first!

She leaned down to grab his fallen feathers, having noticed them in her scan around the room which somehow included the floor.

"NEXT!" She pointed at the build-a-plushie, and promptly began to drag poor Xavier towards it. "Can't have too many!" She liked plushies now that she was able to have them. She especially liked the horribly ugly plushie that King Brat Li Shou had made for her in a fit, because it was her first. Xavier's sleeve was let go as she leaned over the table with the plushie parts, and she gazed at them, then at the demon at her side, and finally began putting the pieces together, fitting a mash of various parts together into something that resembled a...well, puff.

"FOR YOU!" She chimed happily, revealing her final result.

Damien flushed at the exposure he was getting with Deacon and Brand, both boils losing it to the drinks they were making. "Ill just have one Deacon, one. someone has to be the mature one between you two." the hound insisted, supporting the pink haired one as he went around the table for his infused delights to chug. It was a very tactile experience that he was ok with, chuckling at the offered Mirror. "Did you just get vain on us, and brand, i did not expect you to have a mirror."


It showed how much the hellhound knew.

The tabby was very ken on looking dapper. "You look wonderful duchess Deacon, no need for a touch up, and i'm glad to see you are enjoying the night Brand." he agreed, poking the boils face and giving him a grin from ear to ear, bright and fluorescent. The ghoul was polite, and Damien shared his grin in the ghosts direction as she went about the juice and infused extracts, up until she was off in candyland. or I can see into foreverland, that seemed like the better way to describe it, one of the inner voices piped up.

Before the boils he had to call dates could begin the mantra to chug, the hound got to work, rolling up his sleeves and grabbed things of colors and scents that seemed, ok. taste was one thing that he learned did not correlate well to this.

There was no bacon so there was already a problem, but a little vial of essence of carrot and V8, type A which he remembered was ok, if not a little grown up and pretty red. There was a little bit of crushed powder called treating, that had a faint sweet smell that he rimmed the tube with as he added Jelly spider extract, a viscous pink and thick substance that lightened it and grabbed something blindly and adding a few drops, which were quickly regretted after the scent of boiled eggs, hit his nostrils, pungent and hopefully not potent. "Sweet jack, i hope a couple of drops wont kill it." he rumbled and shakes the tube to give it a good homogenization and took a tentative sip.

The taste was cloying sweet at first, to the point where it was overbearing, until the aftertaste muted it, brought it to a more tolerable level. It did leave him swaying his hips side by side with deacon and brand, bumping into them. "Eh, i feel, bouncy."

It could have been better, but he was glad it wasn't any worse. Also the music sounded even better, who knew? Wub wub wub made sense, clarity in the span of seconds.

And then she spun a wheel just because she could, and get another piece of paper out of it. What were these things even for?

Hollandaise had almost, sort of, dragged Mathias over. Now at the table, she clinked vials together, trying to remember what had tasted good and what was awful. "Mathias, was your last drink good?" She sort of shuffled a few together - at least Hollandaise had remembered which was was pumpkin pie. It fizzed and bubbled and she titled it to prevent spillage. Unfortunately, a gnome bumped into her (was it the same gnome as before?) and she stumbled, bumping ungracefully into the boil next to her. Not Mathias, the other one. She turned, a generic apology on her lips.

Oh. Well, then. The words died on her lips as she turned. Hollandaise had bumped into Zar. A very shiny Zar. The only reason she had no noticed him before was that she had been so focused on avoiding thinking of anything other than drinks and Mathias and studiously not thinking about Deszeld and Aisha. "Sorry," she mumbled before peering around him. There was another demon with him, someone vaguely familiar, although she had only met him once, briefly. But Hollandaise remembered faces easily. "Oh, hello Barth. And, ah, Zar. You're looking quite shiny. I'm surprised I didn't notice you before - it's quite striking." On Critter, it had been so utterly easy to come up with words to say to Zar, backhanded compliments and bickering. She took a step back, the chains keeping her dress modest clinking lightly.

"I think you are brighter than I am. I had expected a debounair suit." Her head canted slightly to one side, a lock of hair slipping over one shoulder.
