Riyo hadn't completely caught the exchange between Titus and Amarus, though she could only assume the nightmare demon had his charm meter turned all the way up today.
Titus's comment made her smirk and flip her hair sarcastically. "b***h, I look fa-AAAAA!" And then the feline was in Hel's loving deathlock. Riyo's body was not particularly up to par for such a strong demonstration of affection, but she cut off the scream that was dying to leave her vocal chords in favor of keeping things looking civil and keeping questions at a minimum. "I-it has." She squeaked, delicately, and awkwardly, wrapping her arms around the ghoul to give her a weak hug in comparison.
"Yes hello Hel's other friend." The demoness coughed and waved, hiding her discomfort behind an obviously fake smile. Riyo was not good at names, and it would take a long, long time for her to remember anyone by theirs.
"HelpleaseIcan'tbreahte" Was her answer to Hel's question.

The longer Alexander spent at the dance, sneaking glances at the entrance as he leaned against the wall with his hands in his pockets, the more concerned he became. Where was the other boil? It really was not like him to be late at all, and they had both agreed that they should attend. He really hoped it was just something small that was keeping his bonded behind, and not something terrible. After a few more moments thought on the matter, he finally pulled out his eyephone to send him a text, though he wasn't even sure if Yin kept his phone on him. ramenli Text to Yin: I'm at the dance. Are you here? I arrived early and never saw you come in.

Hel was just abound with affection and Titus was extremely glad the ghoul had not turned her affection on him. Riyo seemed to be her next victim of choice and Titus watched with mild amusement as Riyo seemingly had the life squeezed out of her. He did not comment to Hel, however, as far as who looked better he really didn't care. The demon saw himself as passable and had at least worn clothes though he had given up on the idea of tying his tie. Attention drifting back to Amarus Titus gave the ghoul a wolfish grin. " Humor is the tip of the iceberg, Screechheart." He wasn't sure what kind of reaction the ghoul was hoping to gain by dropping the knowledge that she was on the student council but Titus certainly wasn't impressed. Probably less so now that he was on probation and technically shouldn't even be at this dance. " What do you want a gold star for being on the loser brigade? I'll keep you in mind if I lose my number two pencil during a quiz or something." Suffice to say he wasn't sure how the student council would help with real world problems. He gave the ghoul a shooing motion as she departed looking back to Hel and Riyo wondering when the fun and excitement was going to hit him. Maybe he should have stayed in his dorm.

Mathias was not too overly concerned that his "date" had not arrived yet, especially since she had given him the courtesy of a text to explain that she would not be on time. What was rather disconcerting was the way people kept running into him, claiming to have not seen him standing there, stepping on the toes of his boots, inadvertently jostling him. The dark was not effecting him as it was so many other people (he refused to believe it was his height) his natural ability allowing him to see as if it were as clear as daytime, though with many things glowing too bright around him, which was more than a little distracting. Eventually, his phone buzzed again, and he pulled it out to read the message. Oh. Oh dear horrible everything. He looked at the picture that was sent and actually shuddered. She was probably going to be the brightest thing in this room! Easy to spot, but ultimately hard on the eyes...unless he focused on the parts of her that weren't covered, which even in photo form had him blushing. Biting down on one side of his lip, he sighed, and put his phone away once more. There were no signs of Dirge or Jove as of yet, and despite the fact that his date was basically a beacon, he decided it would only be polite to find her. It took him probably less than 5 seconds to spot her, but several more (see minutes) to wind his way through the crowd and get to her. "Good evening." He smiled, trying his best to smooth his features so that he was not frowning, his lips twitched up into a small smile as he gave her a polite bow, eyes staying locked on hers as if to prove that he could (while in his mind he focused on what Jove looked like in a dress because that always seemed to help). "You are looking very um...bright. Is good, nah?" He didn't know if maybe she had been going for that look. Best to assume that she had been. "Vould like to get drink maybe, or find seat?" He had to practically shout to be heard over the music, and to his credit, he was still looking directly at her.

"Ah, so good to see you as well, Amarus! I shall catch up with you again soon!" In regards to Mot, she could only give the ghoul an exasperated smile. That cowboil was incredibly finicky at times, and Hel had been through the wringer enough with him to just known when to leave him be. "Ah, Riyo...breathing is overrated!" She squeezed the ghoul for a bit longer before she finally released her, and grinned. "How are you, friend?" While asking, she shifted near Titus and reached out to his back. She pulled one of his suspenders, and then letting it go, cackling as it snapped on his back.

It was the dance, and the tall Rakshasa was feeling a bit nervous about it. Before the day, he was trying to make sure that he was dressed right for it because it's his first event with Tavi. They're not just best friends. They're boilfriends now. Walking in to the dance, he felt him clinging to his arm and felt a few sparks from his excitement. While right now he's feeling a little upset in his stomach due to nerves, but he wanted to be here with him. He has to after seeing how cute he's dressed up.
At the squeeze, he looked down to see him and nods his head. "I'm good, don't worry . . ." The boil smiled softly at him, he lifts his hand up and pets down his spiky, charged hair down. "We just got here anyways, so lets have some fun. Okay?" He tugged his arm to pull Tavi along, wanting to ensure him that nothing is wrong even though he might not be able to keep some food in his stomach due to his nerves.

Riyo took in a deep breath as she was finally released, rubbing her tender, slightly bruised sides as she looked back at Hel with a smirk. Some things never changed.
"Peachy. Just peachy." The sarcasm flowed from her mouth like a powerful river. She glanced around from side to side momentarily, trying to ensure nobody who didn't need to know wasn't in ear shot. "Found out my father is a worthless hobo. That's something." Really though it seemed like the cherry on top in comparison to... Other things that she failed to mention. "But. I've got a job and can stand on my own two feet again, so I guess things balance out." The ghoul couldn't hold back a snicker as Hel snapped one of the boil's suspenders.
"And you? How's life outside of Amity?" Because Riyo planned on glazing over her current situation as quickly as possible.

Titus had managed to stand quietly for all of a minute until Hel decided it was a good idea to pull on one of his suspenders. The elastic rang with a snap as it hit him in the lower back making him flinch forward like someone had lit his a** on fire. " Candlejack! What the hell, Kidget?!" He rubbed at the area to help sooth away the sting, his brows furrowed in irritation. In retaliation the demon reached toward the reaper to grab one of her suspenders while Hel was busy talking to Riyo. He snatched a bit of it right by her collarbone and pulled it taught before letting it go. " See how you like it."

This was certainly different! The lighting had Junko blinking her eyes a bit too much while she adjusted to it, tightly grasping one of Seiji's suspenders both to keep her balance and so as not to lose him in the growing crowd. But this was certainly exciting! It had been so long since she had attended one of these! Yay! "I wish you'd let me keep the netted skirt that goes with this," she pouted up at Seiji, though she smiled soon after. "Let's go find something to do~." Seiji gave an amused huff, one hand deep in his pocket, the other resting lightly on Junko's shoulder. "I'm usually all for your skirts, but it just would have been under foot, and I'm not going to risk the chance of ripping it." No way, no how. Flicking his gaze up from the ghoul and out around them, there came a thoughtful tug of lips. "What do you want to do?"

Junko pouted. "I like the torn look," she argued, but ended it at that. Sigh. Oh well, at least she still had the rest of the dress. "Soooomething fun! Oh, like dancing! Or games." She tapped at her lips. "I want to do everything." Good enough.

Rosy glance around as she squeezes Spinar's hand. She was nervous to say the list, as this would be the first time she was actually at a dance with Spinar as his ghoulfriend. Looking over her attire, she turns her eyes back towards him as she chuckles "Are you sure I look alright?" she couldn't help but look around again, finding she actually like how everything look.
It was different, and it made her curious.
Stepping closer to Spinar, she slips her hand from his as she wraps it around his waist. Leaning in close, she spoke close to his ear so he would be able to hear her over the music "Dancing...or games?"

Mort was vibrating with excitement. Almost literally. His brain was certainly humming away with electricity, making his hair stick out a little more than usual--he'd finally gotten a little hair cut just in time. This was the most enthusiastic the zombie had felt about socializing in a very long time, whispers still in the undercurrent of his mind, Insanity streaks and a left blue eye still standing out in the mirror. It had all wreaked a bit of havoc on his nerves. But he was dealing, he had promised his ghoulfriend. Nothing bad was going to happen...Well, it was easy to believe when on his little high at least.
His movements, while slow as was expected from his species, were still a little twitchy, however. His head was slightly ducked out of habit now, always preferring to blend in rather than be seen. Insanity hadn't been brought up in ages, but he still felt uncomfortable not having an excuse to hide the marks behind his usual hoods. Focus on the party. Mort told himself. Mad. Science. Party. He hadn't bothered with a suit and tie this time: no sir, he was full blown in a labcoat, a belt with small pockets and empty vials, gloves, goggles, and sturdy boots. Just in case.
"Aleeeeeeex!" he called out as he shuffled over with a big grin, ready to clasp his bro on the shoulder. "Ahahaaaaa! We should've done this! Told you all!" He was a rotting little boil in the megamart candy store with an unlimited budget. Belladonna needed extra time to get ready, sure, but he couldn't wait to see how the student council had decked it out (and he sort of wanted to let her outfit be an extra surprise on top of the festivities). Thus far, he was extremely pleased.

"I am avoiding physical contact." He told Mia curtly, as he weaved carefully back around in a lazy circle until he was floating in front of her. "My mistake for dressing as something that usually likes petting. My very large mistake." And just then someone proved him right by touching him, and tugging on his sheet. He stiffened in mid air, and whipped around, preparing to remark with some scathing comment about how rude it was to simply touch people without permission, but no such remark came out. The perpetrator happened to be the only person who had full permission to touch him without permission. He relaxed, and floated against Efflo, wrapping his arms and his sheet around the boil. "And I like your face." He actually liked Efflo's wings, but had no idea what he was dressed as. And he liked how the compliment actually sounded like a weird jab, so he grinned playfully and bobbed in the air. "I was wondering if I'd see you."

Needle was quite proud of their costumes, though she hadn't lifted a finger to make it. Well - that wasn't true. She did cut holes in the sleeves for her needles, and she did pull her hair back into a long and thin ponytail, but as far as things went, that was pretty much it.
The run across campus was probably the most fun she had experienced in a few days, falling in right ahead of 'accidentally stabbing her boilfriend with most of her needles and getting stuck for a good five minutes while watching Days of our Undead' on the list.
They arrived unscathed, and both breathless - Muka from running, Needle from laughing - and the Engraver clung to his hand happily, swinging it very lightly between them.
"You were correct, my darkling - you could do it." She conceded with a small bow. Even she couldn't run across campus on her own, let along with someone on he back! She was quite proud of him for carrying her all the way with him.
Though she didn't let go of his hand, Needle stepped through the door into the dance first, and gave a short, surprised yelp as electricity coursed through her whole body, shocking her pretty thoroughly.
"Oh my!" She gasped out, free hand curling to rest on her chest. "That was delightful!" Shivering visibly and grinning wickedly, she turned towards her charming assistant-date, and leaned in to nuzzle his beard. Well, she tried, but got distracted staring at his beautiful arm tattoos (not biased), and ended up leaning her head on his chest instead. "What should we do first?"
