March 7th, 2017: Lanzer bluecherry FeaturesLanzer recently announced a new account setting for favorites. In the staff announcement he said, "This is a privacy setting that will make all favorites of your avatars not show up in public. Only the individual who favorited your avatar can view it. The decision to not completely disable the feature outright was made because any user can save the graphic of any avatar image, and to force users to go back to saving images manually just doesn't make sense." However, it seems it is still possible to delete one's avatar from the favorites of other people, not just hide them from public view, albeit not through using the new account setting. This just doesn't make sense. If you don't think it makes sense to make us manually save stuff again, then it shouldn't be possible to delete avatars from other people's favorites. If you are going to allow the deletion of avatars from other people's favorites, then what is the point of not allowing the account settings to just prevent favoriting in the first place? Deletion can accomplish the same thing, just slower. Why, Lanzer? What is up with this combination of the setting you went with and the reasoning behind it and keeping deletion of other people's favorites around still? Hmm, that wasn't supposed to happen. I'll need to check on the code as I thought I've updated the setting after releasing the option. Will get back to you on this one.

My question is, is there any way to add a "color" feature to the Avatar Builder (Similar to tektek) There is, but the problem presently is that not all items are accurately tagged, so the results would be lacking. Riyokuma Kor Saiyajinkami Features - AvatarsI like how the Avatar Builder was added to Gaia to replace TekTek's Dream Avatar function after TekTek was shut down for stealing your items for their dress-up site. Could we possibly get a Inventory Feature where we could create a link to send to others so they could build avatars using what we have in our Inventories? At the top of the page there is a link that says "Ghost?" and you can put someone's User ID in and then you can use their inventory to dress them~ Just make sure in the drop down menus that you change Item DB to Inventory. -w- Narumi Misuhara From the avatar builder, select the "Allow Ghosting" option. Then just have other people enter your user_id into their "Ghost" box. Once they do this they will then see what you have in your inventory. We can definitely look at making this feature a little less ambiguous though.

Because I love the avi builder but sometimes it is just very frustrating. This was the original plan, we had to stop work on that part of the plan when we were having issues with site outages with the feature. Now that it's more stable we can look at this project again and see if it can be squeezed in. Lanzer diosas Gaia FeaturesThis question is regarding the favorites section: Is there any way you guys can implement a way we can subscribe to users favorites that way we can keep track of what they come across and maybe save it to our own? That's something I always wanted to do. It's on my to do list. Hope I can get to it soon!

Lanzer Shiro Nishida Features arrow Favorites I've been loving the favorites feature ever since it came out, since I've loved to save avatars since... well... forever it seems. (been on and off the site for the past 14 years now) but I recently noticed that if inside of a folder in favorites you possess more than a certain amount of avatars saved, pages 8 and onwards do not show up. At the moment there's a folder in my favorites with 11 pages, but from the bottom menu I'm only able to access up to page 7 and then have to manually change the page number in the address bar. Is this something that will be worked in the future, or is this working as intended? I know, I have saved waaay too many avatars in that folder. sweatdrop too many pretty avatar combinations from friends and forum goers that have great taste, so I can't help it emotion_facepalm That should be an easy bug to fix. I'll add it to my bug list. eek

I really like to get notifications when someone adds one of my avatars but would it be possible to suppress double notifications and to try to fix the duplicate problem? Thanks for looking into this. Currently it's possible to have more than one favorite of the same avi in different, or even the same collection. I can run some check and not send notifications on duplicates.

I'll add achievements to the list. A random equip feature sounds like fun. What would be good filters to ensure that we equip what's good or interesting?

May 24th, 2017: Lanzer Quos Features - Avatar customization page Could the item limit per page under the tabs be increased? I have a couple of pages for Hats/Items and some users have several times more. More than 600 would be tough because it takes up a lot of memory with stacking enabled. We'll need to do some overhaul to change this.

May 30th, 2017: Lanzer MingSao Features // FavouritesAvatar faves aren't stacking anymore? Before when I'd re-equip an outfit and new people would fave it, it would get added to the existing tally, but I noticed this time around people faving my current avi got a new spot on my list (see image behind spoiler tags). I know this avatar is exactly the same as it was before because it's one of my saved outfits for when I'm feeling uninspired to do something new - and it's only 3 items. Favorite stacking applies only if the avatar has the exact same items/poses/expression equipped. If anything is slightly different, the storage location would be different, resulting in a new counter. That part of the code haven't been changed since Favorites was released I think.

June 20th, 2017: Lanzer sheepcakes Features InventoryCan we have a little check on items in inventory, trade and Market Place sell pages that show an item is part of an avatar saved in the wardrobe. We don't have it yet because the feature is a bit resource intensive for those with large inventories. After we get the inventory related features in place we'll work on this feature. Lanzer Chin City features can you guys start a program where users can apply/volunteer to help tag items? recolors often dont have some tags that they should that the originals have even if the recolors also have those poses as well as some items not even being tagged with their color. Yes, that is one of our top 3 projects to do. After we have the item sorting and filter features in place, item tagging feature will be next.

June 28th, 2017: Lanzer Quos I was too late for last week's ATS so I'll be posting in this week's. So 2 ATS prior, I couldn't reply to a quote since I had to get up for a while. Lanzer Quos FeaturesOption to disable item "previews" or descriptions from avatar customization searches? Example: Make that look like this: Or an option to disable descriptions entirely. That's odd, is it blocking any feature? It's not blocking any feature sweatdrop It just stretches the page downwards and it's sort of annoying when descriptions for items vary in length and I lose my place on the items I'm previewing. It's honestly just a pet peeve, and I'm wondering if it'd be possible to have an option disable item descriptions and just have the MP links. This feature's been added to the wishlist. When I work on dress up next time I should be able to add it.

I cannot tell you how many times I've listed items only to find out I was using them on an outfit I've saved! We'll take note of the request and see what we can do, but it'll probably be a lower priority issue.

Google also has self-driving cars....But seriously, we are making some changes to inventory as well as to the tag search, but no plans to put exclusions searches at the moment. As soon as we are done with the Gaia self-driving car, we can work on the other features. Lanzer Dyre Raydrick FeaturesAbout tag search: Will there be unique tags assigned to individual poses for items? Right now, when you search for an item the names of specific poses of items are completely ignored. Say, if an item has a camisole as a pose called "camisole", but neglects having that tag in the item's tags, the item won't show up in your search. Similarly, in avatar builder, all the poses (and the normal item) will show up when you search something like "glasses", when the actual glasses from the item are only one pose. It'd be good if it didn't do this. (Is there info on how this will work anywhere, already?) The initial version will focus on allowing user submissions only. Hope I can find a good way of displaying poses with tags
