I was just wondering something about the removal of IRL tickets. In Zero's post about it, it was said if tickets were bought with gold from another user, it would become a gift card at 45% of how much the ticket was originally priced at, however in the example with the Winter Gift Box Ticket the gift card amount given was about 35% instead ("For example: If you have a Winter Gift Box Ticket (14,900 Gaia Cash), then we will give you a gift card to Genkimix for $52.12." ) . Which percentage of the price is what will actually be given?
And also, any updates on when this will happen? Thanks c:
It'll be 45% of the actual GC price, my math was probably off. To use easier, round numbers, if something was 10,000 GC, we'd be giving you a gift card for $45. It will be happening in the next couple weeks, we've refocused a lot of the Gaia Box team onto other things, so we're trying to get through the rest of the e-mails first before we lock down all the items and remove them.

In the description for the Gaia Artist Alley Box Ticket reads as follows:
This box contains a collection of various art prints, stickers, postcards, and pins. Including the elusive G pin, available for the first time! You will also receive a special new achievement along with a special item! Please e-mail gaiabox@gaiaonline.com to redeem the Gaia Artist Alley Box Ticket. Include your name, username, and an address that you can receive packages at. Item will be removed from your inventory. If you live internationally you may be asked to pay shipping. Boxes may not include every item shown in images.
I've redeemed the box, but unless it's named something unrelated, I have yet to receive this achievement. I know these tickets are being phased out, but will the people who have already redeemed their boxes still get the achievement?

Is it wildly unrealistic to hope that staff may be able to make it to the East Coast in the next year? I started going to anime cons ten years ago because of Gaia, and it's been life changing. I'd love to pay homage to you guys and show support for what you've done for me.

(irl) Shops Hi guys! I just got my two Gaia NPC stickers in the mail yesterday and wanted to tell you how much I love them. I noticed that each order seems to come with the same little Yeti sticker (at least I think it does). Do you think you could do different stickers so we could collect them? It would be a little surprise that comes with your order! Like, "I wonder which sticker I'm going to get this time" You don't have to do this though, just an idea c: seriously though, I'm in love with my purchase!! I'm gonna find a good place to put them and treasure them for a long time

Yes I'm sorry. @_@ It's been incredibly busy in the office so we're trying to get to these. I am happy to report that we have started getting back to a few e-mails this week and we hope to ramp that up so we can make sure to get all that merch sent out to you guys (also because I want to clean out the storage room where we have everything because it's a death trap in there gonk). Thank you for presenting at the panel at Fanime! A long time ago, there would occasionally be IRL meetups where some people from the Gaia team would organize a casual meet-up with Gaians, hang out for some time, and have fun. One of these events I recall was meeting up at a movie theater in San Jose to watch one of the Harry Potter movies with members of the Gaia team and other Gaians. My question: Is there a possibility that such events like this would be possible at some point in the future?
Absolutely! We want to have events organized not just from us but from fellow Gaians also.

Last week Zero mentioned how the ball is slowly rolling in regards to the old merch tickets having the products sent out, and for that I'd like to first say thank you for the update. I was just wondering though, for those users who chose not to redeem their ticket in favour of waiting to get Genkimix credit, would it be possible to request items in the store to be put on hold? For me, I didn't redeem my tickets as there is one thing in the store that I have always wanted, and it's a piece of old Gaia merchandise which makes me worry as with every delay that has happened to this process means that there's a higher chance of it selling out before I get my Genkimix credit.
Also, could someone please tell Zero I'm sorry for nagging him so much about the Merch Tickets? Thank you emotion_bigheart

Go for it! We won't pursue that unless you're going to be ripping our stuff directly and using it for commercial purposes.

No update since my status last week, still going through them, the current goal is that everyone should get an e-mail back before the end of the month and then from there we can make sure you get your boxes (or refunds, if you requested those).

Hello! I'm wonderin' when are we goin' to get the achievement for when we redeem the Gaia Box tickets. It's been 9 months and we have yet to be granted the achievement. Also, we were supposed to have a chance to win a perfect parcel. (It was in the announcement) When will that happen? Gaian's spent money and or gold to get these tickets and we were promised those and yet nothin'. I'm not tryin' to be rude about it, but as I said it's been almost 9 months. Thank you.

I purchased a 2017 January Birthday Box PRESALE Ticket back in December of last year. I sent an e-mail Dec. 18 2016 to redeem the ticket, since then I sent multiple e-mails, pm a mod, filed reports. Yet! over 6 months later the ticket still sits in my inventory. Why!? I shouldn't have to wait over 6 months for real life merchandise and for the items that I was supposed to get. If I would have known that this was goin' to happen I would have never spent my money that I worked for just to have that ticket sit in my inventory collectin' dust. This is beyond ridiculous at this point, and unfair to me and the other Gaians who got those ticket and have yet to receive what they paid for.

I know right now trying to go to a lot of conventions is probably out of the question (we know you guys are stretched as it is in more ways than one!), but I'm curious if one day you'll consider going to some smaller conventions in the future? For examples, like Anime Midwest or Anime Milwaukee. They aren't big conventions, in comparison to AX, ACen, or Otakon, but it'd be cool if you guys could eventually consider going to smaller cons and meeting your fanbase that still love you but can't (or don't want to) go the bigger name cons!
Zero just did the Acen convention in Chicago a few months ago. I wouldn't mind as I'm currently in Wisconsin, so it would be quite easy for me to get there. smile
