November 10th, 2015: Rance Clear Nenanah Shops/Items The exchange rate for cash/gold in the MP is: 50,000,000g to 1 GC. If that is so the why do we have to pay so much cash in the gold shops to get cheap items? Example, Flamingo Inner Tube is 1230 Gold, but it costs 21 Gaia Cash. That is not equal to the conversion rate... Not having the gold shop prices match the conversion rate seems silly, I mean it only makes sense to have it equal throughout the site not doing so is ripping off your users. The current gold shop / gaia cash exchange rates were determined by an older system. They could definitely do with some updating! Thanks for the reminder!

November 17th, 2015: Zero Omega Nenanah Features Rather than having a reset timer, though, can I suggest having a minimum number of bids? For example, say an item is up with the bid amount being 15g. For a person to put in a bid at the last moment, they'll have to bid previously on the item at least - oh, lets say six or seven times. The lower the bid amount, the more previous bids a person will have had to make to be able to bid at the last moment. If an item is up for bid over an extended period, then the minimum number of bids have to be made over that time and not all at once, to avoid people getting in early and then waiting it out. A feasible idea? Probably not, but the reset timer is both irritating and unfair. Bidding on an item for some time and thinking you've won it only to find out someone else did because the timer reset and (a) you didn't realize it did that or (b) had forgotten that it did is more than a little frustrating. And for users who don't have a stockpile of gold, having a chance to win an item because it has a low bid amount only for the price to skyrocket because the timer keeps resetting... Why would you want to use a system that doesn't give much of a chance, and takes all the fun out of it? Question is originally by Calovere Mmm... We can certainly consider this as an option to bidding, it probably wouldn't be something we address anytime in the near future until we have time to take a look at updating the Marketplace, but we'll note down the suggestion.

November 23rd, 2015: excitable sloth Soul of Kyr Features/Games/Lake Kindred:Is there anyway you can make it so that Kin that are in your Storage or being Sold, do NOT show up on the list of Kin in Lake Kindred?? Because it is really annoying and confusing to have a Kin that you put up or are selling, get listed in available Kin in the game. If you store a Kin, it should not be available at all....same with selling it. We are currently working on a way to do this. c:

December 1st, 2015: Zero Omega Lady Saxophone FeaturesA lot of users have been getting their Trading passes disabled recently immediately after purchasing Gaia Cash ( example) Is there something malfunctioning with the payment system? Or are the monkeys in the back rooms just messing around with things again? We've recently implemented a system that flags certain purchases that are made in order to protect both users and ourselves. We're then immediately notified when this happens and the majority of users who get their trading disabled get their passes back within the hour.

We set it as opt-out as a way to help buyers and sellers adjust to the new possibility of using gaia cash purchasing to get items and so that sellers who had no opinion on the feature could cast a wider net to entice potential buyers. We'd just like to get more awesome items in the hands of people who want them. biggrin

Any good news about it you can share? emotion_kirakira It's delayed due to the issues with Avibuilder. The systems are supposed to work in tandem so until we can get Avibuilder addressed it's on hold. In case you're wondering we do have personnel looking at Avibuilder optimizations and improvements at this very moment, but I don't have an update on their progress at this time.

Staff, I sent Zero a message about this, but the kins that are being listed in the MP are still showing up in the game, which means I wasted about 30 potions trying to level up a kin, for it to be in MP. When I try to cancel the MP listing, it says "Error," This just started happening, could you please fix this? We'll take a look into what the issue is, rest assured that no one can actually buy your item (I just tried).

Sorry about that. :C excitable sloth Ensavondel GamesWith the recent release of gold gens in exchange for real money, a lot of users who play Lake Kindred were unhappy to hear the gold gen option was removed from the RIGs at the same time Gaia started releasing said gold gens in the cash shop. I propose (if it's easy or even possible), that these rig options be re-implemented but at lower payouts. Maybe max at 1 mil and the lowest being a few hundred thousand. It would make earning gold in Lake Kindred more feasible but not so much you get 100 bil plus. It just feels unfair at the current time because of how much the costs of the item drops have gone and the fact winning certain levels in Lake Kindred only give out 20,000 G or less. There will be no gold gens or RIGs with a gold option available added into Kindred anytime soon. excitable sloth Ensavondel GamesAnother Lake Kindred suggestion. Upping the amount of gold per win in battle. 20,000G (or less) can barely get you anything and I feel it would attract more traffic to up this amount even to 100,000 G per win. Or half that, but something more substantional to the players who dedicate a lot of time to Lake Kindred but can't drop real money to buy potions and new kins. Not everyone can afford the Sycamorte killer kins. We may look into increasing gold payouts in the future, but not for kin like Sycamorte.

A few weeks (or months, i can't remember) ago I asked about the possibility of allowing us to add game items to our wishlists. I was told that this will be looked into. I was wondering if there was any progress with that? I really want to add fish and kindred potions to mine

When a new RIG kin is released, usually it ends up being worth near or over 1t gold and that's a bit ridiculous (I'm looking at you right now Pixkit). Most of the rarest Kin get more affordable over time, thanks to new opportunities to get them. I'd wait it out if it's not in your price range at the moment!

Will the tags for certain items be fixed?
For example, when I want to view the item set 'Seven Days,'
if I type in 'seven' or '7' nothing works. I then have to type in
'days' and go through the giant list of items in that tag. The
same goes for the Day Zero series. If you private message me some specific items, I can look into it!

I have another question >x< There are people that left Gaia a long time ago and for the accounts that have been sitting there collecting dust for three to five years, probably have rare items that some of us can never find because there's a hoard where no one can get to it. So I was wondering if you guys are ever going to do anything with old accounts no one uses anymore and maybe re-auction out the things? We auction things off on Flynn's Plunder (granted we haven't had a chance to update it in a couple days) which is our way of bringing some things back into circulation.
