Texas realized immediately what Mirai was trying to do. "Looking for your boyfriend? You're too late. You can't set him free," he said, using a burst of flames to counter Mirai's telekinetic blast. The flames blew it away quickly. It was obvious that Texas was suddenly much stronger than Mirai would remember. He quickly moved towards Mirai, retaliating against her attack with several swipes from his flame sword.


Abilities in use:

Texas laughed when he heard Mirai. His wavelength increased with hers and when she appeared behind him, he swung around in a full circle attempting to slash her through. He was forced to stop halfway into the attack when Mirai's sword turned into a huge gauntlet and used his flame sword to block the attack. He was pushed backwards several feet but didn't seem injured. "You can't defeat me. I'm not the Texas you know," he told her before coming at her again with the flame sword, slashing towards her torso twice. Mirai would find that he was also much quicker than the Texas she knew.

As the one called Rubia appeared above him, along with his guns in her hands, the man just stood there, he didn't seem to be concerned that he was now weaponless. Sighing, he looked up at Rubia, "Is this really all there is to you?" he would ask. "Underwhelming, to say the least." The man then raised his hand up at the girl, his palm facing her. Suddenly a orb of energy formed in his hand and fired off at the girl. As soon as it did, the man turned to face Chilia and SC, "I trust that you two will be more of a challenge?" Through out all of this, the man's eyes would every and then, shift towards Texas, it would appear as though he was keeping an careful eye on the boy. Should anything happen to him or somehow the girl managed to convince him to switch sides, he was prepared to kill Texas.

Texas's flame sword burned brightly as he slashed at the tendril roots that attacked him. He was cutting and burning them apart though some of them still scratched him, lacerating his body. Once he had gotten through them he turned to face Mirai. He continued increasing his wavelength as well, continuing to match hers as they rose. "You never should have come here," he told her before lunging at her again with his flame sword. He swiped high and then he swiped low, attempting to cut her in the face and then in the stomach before doing a spin kick towards her chest.

SC perked her ears up at the other Machinists statement. "We're too tough for you, Meowster," she told him with a small shrug. "Try coming back when you're a little older."

Texas stopped when Mirai called out to see if the Texas she knew was still there. A slow grin spread across Texas's face when she finished. "Mirai, help me! I've fallen and I can't get up!" He said, mocking a small voice. "Wow! I guess he's still there! Guess you still have a chance." He laughed slightly before charging at her again swinging vertically to try and slice her right up her shoulder.

Texas shrugged before Mirai launched a punch at his face. He stepped backwards and leaned to the side, barely missing the punch. "She got what she deserved. Saint Clara is a better lay anyway," he said, the grin not leaving his face as he used his close proximity to send a horizontal slash towards her stomach.
