It was pretty clear from the blonde senshi that she wasn't the greatest fan of the pair that stood in the centre - well at least not the white-haired one that she had referred to as 'his majesty' even if Liryn personally wasn't sure what the supposed size of someone's d**k had to do with the pile of once people that the white-haired (currently) eternal seemed to be almost proudly showing off about.

He didn't like it - this wasn't what senshi were supposed to be like, like that nasty corrupt who had way too much interest in Athene's starseed. Senshi's were supposed to be protectors - not gleeful mass murderers.

Neither Athene and Ida were looking so good, and Liryn wished that they were standing in more of a shoulder to shoulder way so he could give Ida a nuzzle since she looked like she could do with a kitty nuzzle.

He had looked up and over, curious, when the unfamiliar teal-haired senshi had greeted Ida and then concerned when she had started throwing up causing the smell of vomit to mix with the stench of blood and the cooling puddle of what had once been Athene's half full cup of take-out coffee to make a new smell that was frankly horrendously disgusting. As Athene had slipped after her, it meant that Liryn had ended up going too and he had peered down concerned as Athene had tried to offer the other senshi a bottle of water.

There were still conversations going on, well at least some of it (well make that a lot of it) appeared to also be yelling and so Liryn was able to piece together a view of what was going on and the more he pieced was the less he liked it.

Athene had moved back towards Ganymede just as an orange-haired super senshi, who appeared to have been ranting at the Cosmos Squire (Hvergelmir he thought her name was) from the BlackWatch meeting, was slapped by a black-haired super senshi dressed in white and blue and who had approached Ganymede whilst they were over by the teal-haired senshi and it was hard to miss the atmosphere turning ugly, especially giving the way he could feel Athene's shoulder tense underneath his paws.

Then the white-haired senshi had suddenly disappeared and the blond who remained had said something about a Dioski something or another (although he was planing to look the word up and find out) were declaring war on Earth and someone else mentioned police,

Athene had commented to the small group about them that they probably didn't want to be there if police were coming, although the dark-haired senshi hadn't made any move to move. Liryn thought it a good idea though.

And then the orange-haired super senshi from before had started ranting on at the Cosmos Squire again making Liryn seriously contemplate nipping her to the point where he shifted restlessly on Athene's shoulder. Two things stopped him - the first was Athene's hand that reached up to gently hold him in place, which reminded him of the second - distance and the fact that he would have to trot across that floor.

That the Cosmos Squire had appeared to agree with the super senshi, didn't make the little bobtail disrespect the Knight - he had thought on the Moon and thought now that there was a story behind her and without knowing what it was he wasn't going to make any judgements.

Then the second of the two orange-haired super senshi appeared to be trying to intervene, speaking to the first as she appeared to tug at her.

It didn't stop Liryn from wanting to n** the first one though, even though he wasn't going to.

Hvergelmir's reaction utterly baffled Megrez. She was expecting some sort of self-righteous defense of her oath, or at least some sort of counterattack. Instead, all she got was a candid admission that she was right. The dissonant calm did, to a degree, disarm Megrez, if only because her brain completely shorted out trying to comprehend the full meaning of Hvergelmir's statement. She wanted to fire off one last shot, to say that sorry wasn't enough, just like Castor had done to her (if indirectly), but then she felt a tug on her arm. "Penthe?" she said, turning her head slowly to face the other redhead. Her tone had shifted from aggressive to soft, almost sleepy and childlike. "I wasn't going to attack her," she said, and she definitely sounded like a confused child.

Suddenly, all that exertion from the raw expression of emotion caught up to her, and she felt very, very tired. She wanted to go to bed. But she also didn't want to go to bed. She wanted to do everything and nothing at the same time, which was probably a good indication that she needed to rest. If Penthesilea wanted to literally drag her out, she wouldn't resist.

Penthe lit up, for a moment, when Pollux addressed her in French. Sure, her version wasn't as clean and cultured as his, but she knew the words well enough.

"Bonnwí, Pollux. Swinn-twa, an' keep a good handle on that brother'a yours." It was thicker, heavy and clearly Louisiana Creole, but still recognizable. She started guiding Megrez towards the door, dropping her voice.

"Ain't just worried 'bout you, cher," she said, and her arm shifted to wrap around Megrez's shoulders and pull her along to the door. There was no need for them to stay any longer.

And that was why nothing had gotten done in all the years that the war had been going on - too much petty squabbling amongst one another that none would just shut up and hear out what they'd been brought here to hear before making their stance known.

Bellatrix had heard, and been privy to the bruises left behind, of Castor's return. She knew a SOS sent out by him was no mere SOS when she had come hear. She has come to see for herself. To hear his message for herself. There was an extent to which she agreed, as her words, fallen on deaf ears, would imply.

But still...

The senshi of fortitude had her own past connections to the Castor and Pollux pair. That was perhaps another reason she had come. She had not delved deep in to her home world, ever reluctant to rely on the past, but she'd seen enough to know. And therein lay some innate form of responsibility. She wondered, if Castor knew as much as his apparent flashback suggested, if her presence had perhaps not gone as unnoticed as it appeared. Perhaps that is what she had hoped to achieve in coming here.

She stay.

Turning his attention to the senshi of eggs and her apparent bodyguard, or keeper, he felt his own lips twist into a rather unkind smile. What was with these two red haired senshi? If they wanted a fight he was more tan ready at the moment, something he had never been ready for previous to this. he may not win but he was ok with that, he had a feeling he'd even have back up if things dissolved into a fight. "Boy? Why don't you think before you speak unless you'd like me to call you girl, as well as your completely immature friend here." Jerking his head to the red haired senshi of eggs, his eyes focused at the moment on the senshi of war. He was in no mood to be called boy by anyone, especially one looking to stand against him and support the wholesale murder of people who weren't even given a chance to make a choice, to change sides. it was wrong in every sense of the word as far as he was concerned, and he had no issue in voicing his opinion.

"I'd like to see you make me regret anything I've said or done. I don't do things that I'll regret, otherwise why do them? So I can be mentally and emotionally tortured by it all later?" Shaking his head, fingers reaching up to run through his hair harshly. he went after people online, hacked them, posted and leaked information, he had no guilt over the things he did - ever. Maybe in this war he would eventually but thus far no. After finding his own power was not something which hurt he didn't worry about using it and he had settled, in his mind, that he had to fight in order to protect himself and others. He had no choice so there was no guilt for the actions he had taken and would take in the future. He wouldn't regret a fight right now with a senshi or two; no way.

"If you don't think they should all die then why are you not standing against this travesty? How much do you want to bet these dead here." Pointing to the bodies. "Were not given a chance, not asked if they wanted to change sides." he questioned as he glanced over her shoulder toward the bodies. It was a shame to see them and he hoped, desperately so, that none of them was someone he'd known, someone he'd met in passing or gone to school with. What would happen if when they powered down someone here discovered such a horrifying thing? Especially those who were in support of this, he almost hoped that such would happen. It was with horror that he discovered he hoped that would happen - the idea of it happening would bring him pleasure. The horror though was pushed aside, he'd analyze it all later.

Now his eyes turned on Megrez and they narrowed as he spoke. "You're words are pretty but they are nothing but words. Do you think if you're corrupted you'll remember them? That you won't fight for you life? Perhaps even beg to change sides, again, and maybe those words if uttered should be ignored and your life snuffed out like those peoples - no chance given." He stated rather coldly. "Stuff needs to be done, I believe we all agree there, but not this way and not this." No, not this way. Not without a second, or even a first, chance given. Without even care given to the bodies. They were being treated poorly even in death. What respect was being given to them? They were still fighters in a war, as misguided as they were, and that bothered everything within him at such a depth it hurt and arched inside of him.

The words, the idea, wanted to come out so badly and he kept it at bay by biting down on his bottom lip harshly, almost enough to draw blood, before he turned round and went to join Ganymede and the group with her. he wanted to tell the senshi of eggs that he'd be more than happy to kill her if she changed sides, maybe even before then as she seemed dark enough to warrant it now. They were words that were not like him, not by any stretch of the imagination, and yet they wanted so badly to come forth and be given life in the form of spoken words left for all here to hear. Reaching Ganymede he turned so he could stand at her side and looked down at her. "it's impossible to talk sense to an idiot." He stated even as he took note of the brothers talking in some language he was clueless about, sounded a bit like the Spanish he'd been forced to learn in high school.

It seemed the white haired one was leaving, good, he seemed off his rocker to the dark haired senshi. He wasn't just...human as far as Chaldene was concerned. he was worse and should be considered as dark as those of the Negaverse. Would anyone stop him though? From the looks and sound of things - no. Watching the other one take over the talk he shook his head at some of the words. "We are what we each make of ourselves. I may fight but I am not a murderer. I have not killed and will not." Not unless it meant his life...and even then he'd rather incapacitate than kill. He didn't want the blood of the dead on his hands. He could injure, to save himself and others, he knew this now but to kill? That he could not do. He would do all he could to avoid it. "We are not who we were in the past, if we were murderers then we do no need to be now. We are who we are here, individuals separate from the past selves we once were. And I may only speak for myself, which I doubt, but please do not try and lump all senshi as being murderers- I am not."

After a moment he tilted his head down close to Ganymede and whispered to her, for only her and those about her to hear. "Perhaps we were born here, all of us, because all our homes are uninhabitable and others were reborn elsewhere. How does he know this is not why? And how does he know so much on the balance of things? He is no higher than use, no more knowledgeable. Him or his brother. That is something neither could or should know." He whispered, his words harsh, while green eyes flickered up to Pollux for a moment." A lookg about the small group, Ida, Athene, Ganymede and some others and he mouthed something to them all. "Dioskouri?"] What was that? Who was it? he wasn't sure and wanted to know.

Watching again as that red haired idiot opened her mouth, did she not know when to shut the hell up? He wanted to scold her, to yell at her, and more importantly he wanted to shut her up himself. Someone should teach her to hold her tongue, to watch what tripe poured from her mouth. because if she continued she might say the wrong thing, bring up the wrong topic, to someone and hurt them or enrage them and what then? He may not have been involved long, maybe longer than her and maybe not, but he knew better than to speak as freely as she did. Who knows what her words could cause with that Cosmos knight. Could she have any less tact? Watching as it seemed she was to be dragged, or guided, out he shook his head. "Perhaps she could use some help as well, even a talk with someone else amongst our ranks." He stated, no longer whispering as he spoke.

"She should watch what she says, she doesn't know how killing or fighting can effect someone. So has no right to pass judgement because of someone elses choices." Tsui knew why he hadn't been able to fight, why he'd hated the idea of it. Pollux also. he had grown up with a drunken, verbally, abusive father and the idea of hurting anyone, of doing anything violent, bothered him so much that it was only to defend others that he allowed himself to fight. he had a bit more value in himself at this point, was willing to protect himself and fight, but who knows what reasons others had?

"Cops were mentioned...It would be wise for everyone to leave." And no more abusing the bodies, he wanted to say that. The idea of hurting the dead, of disrespecting them, hurt. "Ganymede....can I stay at your side tonight...till I power down." Then he'd go home to Tsui's place and tell her all about this and get her opinion on it. he'd possibly cry and he knew he'd rant and rave and pace about her apartment. But he would tell her everything that he could, including that he'd slapped another senshi and had enjoyed it.

Avalon took Kairatos' hand in both of hers and squeezed with all her strength, like he was the lifeline keeping her from falling to many small pieces. He said she was okay, but--he didn't know her, he never had. A small, strangled noise escaped when Pollux explicated the exact meaning of Castor's declaration. War on Earth. War on her!! There was no one else of Earth that she knew. Avalon's face was still as stone but she couldn't focus on anything but the sudden terror that flooded her. No no no, she didn't want to fight Pollux...

"Can we go," she beseeched Kairatos and Hvergelmir, her tone still all trembling. "I'm ready to go. Please?"

Why did that shithead have to get Megrez fired up again just as she was getting ready to settle down and drift away? Fortunately for Chaldene and the others, she was simply too fried to be coherent, and all that escaped her was a loud, pitchy, coarse grunt of utter frustration. Once she thought everyone was out of earshot, though, she whispered to Penthesilea, "Why is that guy such a shithead?"

Hvergelmir was feeling far from her best, but there was Avalon to think about: she didn't like the way the Earth page was looking. There was a blankness on her face and a faint quiver in her voice, and while she seemed less at risk of exploding than Megrez had, or Kairatos, earlier, Hvergelmir was nonetheless familiar with the look that Avalon had. Like she was teetering on imploding, instead, trying to stave off some kind of internal collapse. Trying to box up emotions that she didn't feel like she was prepared to handle. Carmine said Laney got a look like that, sometimes.

It was time to leave. "Me too," she agreed with the taller woman. "Let's get out of here."

She kept one hand around Avalon, and gave her a little squeeze that she hoped came off as more bracing and comforting than it felt to her. With her other hand, Hvergelmir very desperately wanted to reach out to Kairatos, to slip her fingers between his and borrow more of his strength: but holding hands was too much like Cove. She got an ugly chill up her spine and couldn't do it. She reached up to loop her arm around his, with her hand settled on the Mars knight's bicep instead.

For a while, Ganymede kept her silence and let everyone else do the talking. They were all more than capable of arguing the same points. Additionally, she made no move to stop Chaldene from flinging a hand out at Megrez. She should have, she acknowledged, but there was a part of her that thought Megrez deserved it. It satisfied her to watch it happen, without the guilt that would have come if she'd slapped the girl herself.

In any case, Chaldene was his own person. He made his own decisions and acted on his own conscience. It wasn't up to her to do that for him. If she felt mildly responsible it was only because he was her teammate and relatively new compared to someone like Europa or Kallichore. He needed someone at his back. But she wasn't in any position to be issuing orders to anyone.

So she watched Castor and his brother instead, though her attention was naturally reserved more for the former than it was for the later. There was something completely off about him, something she didn't think had been there the last time she'd seen him. Not that she could claim to know anything about him beyond what few brief encounters they'd had years ago, but he'd made an impression on her back then. He was the source of so much bitterness and resentment. As much as she didn't like to think of the war's earlier years, she carried them with her like she meant them to prove something about her.

To her, Castor seemed incapable of separating reality from whatever memories he'd gained over the years. She picked up as much of the Italian as she could, filing it away for more careful consideration once this confrontation was over.

Ganymede glanced to Chaldene again, noted others making their respective exits, but she didn't want to leave yet. This didn't feel finished. The argument had lapsed from shouting to quiet admissions and mild disagreements. Nothing had been resolved. This seemed like too big of a moment to turn away from it and leave, and yet there they went in their groups of twos and threes.

Perhaps it was no more than stubbornness that kept her there a little longer, or stupidity, foolishness, ignorance. Or perhaps it was the memories, that old resentment, the need to prove to herself that I am not who I was.

“You can stay,” she said to Chaldene, though he deserved more than that from her. He would have it, in time.

With Castor gone and Megrez on her way out with the Super Senshi of War, Ganymede had no one to direct her ill will towards but Castor's brother. She looked at him with a mingled sense of outrage and mild pity, that he should play lapdog to a brother who wasn't even all there.

“You go after the big fish, you can count me in,” she told him, “but I'm not going to waste my time and countless potentially innocent lives going after their pawns when we could go straight for the Queen. Or King. Or whoever's at the center of all this. You're going to drag out an already exhaustive war and earn yourself more enemies than allies when we could be using whatever the purified ones are able to tell us to go right in and get 'em where it'll hurt 'em most. Preach all you want about war, it isn't going to do you a damned bit of good. We are not murderers, and if that makes you and His Most Esteemed Majesty our enemies, so be it. You can come after me first,” she offered.

Ganymede dipped a sarcastic curtsy, her mouth twisted into a saucy grin. When she rose, her steps took her back to Chaldene, close to Athene and his cat, Ida, and the lower level Senshi with them.

“I take it we're all in agreement about this?” she asked them.

Beyond them she caught sight of Themiscyra. Ganymede caught her eye, nodded her acknowledgement, her expression changing from sardonic to one that was much more serious. “Can you send a message to Val?” Ganymede called to her. “And another Knight, Sessrumnir, too, if you can. Let them know what's happened.”

When Athene reached, Ida reached back and wordlessly clasped hands with her team mate, offering support and love through that simple connection. They were together, they could weather anything and there was comfort in that thought.

When a familiar voice spoke up behind her, Ida turned in surprise to see Bohlinia there. Of all the times for the girl to show up... Ida would not have chosen now by any stretch of the imagination. The eternal's lips pressed together when the other lost the battle Ida had won and she went to comfort her as Athene did, reaching out to brush Bohlinia's hair back from her and then settle a hand over the one that had grasped her arm.

"Its okay... just breath through your mouth." She said softly to her. There was no real answer Ida could give about what was going on and the long they stood here the more revealed itself. The shouting, the arguing, the words that bit at her very soul with their wrongness... Ida remained silent through it all, watching and taking in all of it, her own resolve firming at Athene's words and Ganymede's.

This was wrong. This was not how to fight this war and it went against everything Ida felt she stood for, every reason why she henshined and fought after all this time. It was fairly obvious though that neither of the men who had been here when they arrived were going to accept any argument against their actions or the course they had declared. Castor... she had had no idea that he was like this, under all the bravado and easy carelessness she had seen when they first met. The way he spoke, the way he acted... she was in agreement with Hvergelmir that his mind was perhaps not all there.

When Ganymede finally called to them for agreement, Ida nodded slowly, her dark eyes solemn.

"Tactics like this are the way the Negaverse approaches this war. We define ourselves and the rightness of our stance by refusing to use their methods. If we stoop to wholesale slaughter the way they do, we're no better than they are and then how can we claim we have justice on our side?" Ida shook her head as she spoke quietly to her friends, looking over at Athene. "I won't fight other senshi, but I won't stand by and watch people die either. I took at oath to protect Earth, and I will."

Ida ran her fingers lightly down her glowing cheek before she turned and grasped Bohlinia's hand, tugging her towards the door. She wasn't going to stay here and argue with anyone, the shouting going on between Kairatos and the super senshi grating on her. Hot-headed emotions were not her style and there was nothing productive in that sort of approach.

Ida offered Ganymede a nod of support as she turned to go, her eyes sweeping to Athene to let him know she was ready to leave. Whether Bohlinia wanted to stay or not, Ida's hand was firm around her wrist and she gently dragged her away from the bodies and the blood and the war she wanted nothing to do with.

Okay. Safe. She was so safe right now. Hvergelmir would take care of her and wouldn't let them say any more lies like Earth is corrupt. Earth wasn't corrupt. Avalon wasn't corrupt. Ipso facto, etceteras. And Hvergelmir's friend... he seemed kind. Maybe Avalon could trust him, too.

She looked at the bodies one more time before trying to pull Kairatos and Hvergelmir away from the bloodbath.

Athene nodded as Ida turned to do, tugging the teal haired senshi along with her although he didn't immediately move to follow his team mate towards the door, looking first at Ganymede and then Chaldene as he said quietly. "Ida's better with words than I am, but I won't stand by either." Whatever may have gone down in the past, Earth was his home now and there was people he wanted to protect there. "And if you need me because either of those decide to make good on their threat then I'll come if I can" it was a honest offer.

Small piece said he turned and then, along with Liryn who had been good with keeping to his shoulder as he'd asked, he followed Ida out of the warehouse. He wanted out - out from this place of blood and senseless slaughter.

The guy with the butt wings was... not lookin' too hot. Themiscyra didn't know names, but she could register energy signatures that went off in her mental reader--or whatever magical sense that was--to at least grasp the guy was stronger. She could assume pretty easily by his lack of symbols he was a senshi, and the way the others were talking about knights. As the guy kept going on though about screams and bodies and slaughter.... She'd sent a quick glance to Kairatos. Was this guy dealing with a memory..? Or a hallucination?

She glanced to Kairatos when he put his hand over her shoulder, raising a brow to his hissing words before giving him a faintly bitter smile. "Only that I found bodies. Mom puts too much faith in the Negaverse-strewn media for me to divulge more than that." Not that she wanted to believe her mother would have her arrested for terrorism. But her own desires to be forthcoming... paled in comparison to what she could risk losing. Pros and cons to having a parent on the police force: the law was actually the law.

When the Eternal left, his--brother, was it?--began to speak (Pollux), and she kept her mouth shut. He made valid points. Rules only existed in war--any combat really--as they were set down by the participants. Meaning each side could be adhering to very different sets of rules and regulations. But it was soon after that she lost her agreement. Maybe they couldn't see Chaos as human, but that did not mean they should overlook the human bodies and lives caught in its trap. For a moment she wondered if this senshi even knew what the source of youma had been.

Deciding it would do no good to voice how, then, were they to prove they were not sheep--by stepping forth to follow their personal beliefs and ideals, or by following the brothers' rendition of how beliefs and ideals should be set? Either way they sounded like sheep, by his own words--she spoke on another point she found... difficult to accept. "You say purification leaves the balance tipped, and the universe must fill the void. Ok, I can understand that, and see that point. But to then say death does not create the same sort of balance tilt is... rather idealistic, don't you think? It creates the same void on either side that a purification or corruption does. It means there is still one more agent of Order or Chaos on the board than there is for the other. Or at least that's how it sounds, when you say purifications cause such a balance tip." The Page kept her voice neutral this time--the necessity for laughter was gone now that everyone seemed to be leaving. Yet his other questions. Why they were here on Earth. What it meant of the cosmos. She already knew those answers. The Code had already spelt it out for the knights at Olympus.

Far as she was concerned, these brothers were delivering a message too late, and in a fashion far from necessary in comparison to how the Code had already explained it. Yet that was half the problem. The Code had spoken to the knights. Who'd been there and then relayed this information to the senshi?

Turning to Kairatos fully this time, she pushed at his shoulder, nodding to Cosmos Squire and Earth Page she didn't recognize. "Get out of here. Once everyone's gone I'll be out soon. Make sure she's alright and... if you wanna grab drinks later, lemme know. I'll probably need a few rounds after this," she added dryly, her laughing facade cracking a tad as she finally allowed her eyes to skim to the bodies. People. Kids. Her mind was already whirling around how she'd make up a cover story to her mom. She'd have to give a statement for how she found the bodies. Her attention shifted to Andronicus and she gave her friend a small smile. "You should probably get out, too... less you wanna stick around for this show?" It occurred to her the potential use of someone else staying around while she was unpowered. If only to make sure they were really alone when she made the call. But she moved away to stand farther from the bodies, glancing around the scene as she debated how to best go about her story. And how she'd need to set it up. Her eyes closed for a moment as she pondered how many footprints they'd find from all their various footware in the area. How bad was the dust? Ugh.

It was then she caught Ganymede's words, and the Page lifted a hand in simple acknowledgement. "Will do." Would give her something to write out while she waited for the cops at least.

Personal note~ Themiscyra's not an idiot with her identity any more. She'll be lingering until everyone's left to power down and contact her mother. Or, barring that if anyone else stays, she'll be leaving the area before powering down. Meaning no one should be later coming around hinting they know Themiscyra's civilian identity. If you have an issue with this, feel free to talk to me in private, but as of right now this is how she handles these situations so I wanted this made crystal clear so there's no OOC confusion <3

Bohlinia had taken Athene's bottle of water when offered, although the act of thanks she wanted to say was done with a small smile and a nod than actual words. She didn't trust herself to not throw up again and just seeing and catching a glimpse of a body made her knees wobble with disgust. She had lost the will to concentrate on the words being said but she knew it was all above her head. She was too young and experienced in this game to even know what what was going on. She was playing with the big kids now and she hadn't been told the rules. God she was so stupid to come out tonight. She had just wanted to see - to show Ida that she was patrolling, that she was doing her part.

She didnt want any of this.

And when Ida pulled on her hand and then her waist she let herself be pulled from the scene, her body leaning into Ida's as she took charge of the situation and made good on their escape Bohlinia's mind anywhere but in this moment.

"Is this...is this what it means to be a Senshi..." She mumbled as she put her fingers to her lips and brushed any remaining residue away. She was pretty sure she looked a right state but she didnt care. She had seen death this night and she didnt want this.

She didnt want any of this...
