Aisha shrunk further into her hoodie as she approached the chilly booth. The dragon promoting himself was definitely handsome and classy seeming. But this was her first booth visit and she couldn't say she even knew who his competition was.

Playing a game would at least be fun and she gave the cups a try. Unfortunately she was quick enough to keep track and by the end was blindly guessing. Guessing wrong.

Bart smiled very lightly and nodded. "Good, good. I'll look forward to it." He then added a polite "Thank you" at the compliment. Bart considered leaving but figured it would be more beneficial for himself to talk a bit more. After all, the boil did seem like a rather prime candidate. "So far for treasurer you seem to have the highest chances, as the only other candidate's booth was.... Put up rather hastily to say the least." He said as he glanced over at Andrew's booth, which seemed to have been put next door on purpose. He considered saying something about how the other candidate- Andrew- had really said that the only reason he was running was so that Gabby wouldn't win. However, Bart got the feeling that he would be pointing out the obvious. "I take it that you two don't get along? It makes sense, I mean, fire and ice aren't exactly known to compliment each other."

Trisha was here. Oh so this was someone running for treasurer. She sat down with a small smile to play the game.

And picked an empty cup. Oops.

"Hello, I am Trisha. I'm running for Vice president. It would be good for us to have a nice strong dragon guarding our money. I think you are perfect." she smiled at the dragon and then offered him a ribbon. "You are a ghost right? This ribbon is for you. It even matches your icy scales." yep perfect. It would look good on him or in his hoard she was sure.

Sorrow had a thing about rocks.

She could sort of like, feel them. But not through plastic.

"Can I touch it anyway, mon?" She whispered. "I'm not going to eat it, though."

She was still buzzy off the brownie. Plant food was great and all, but...as a gargoyle, it was pretty tempting.

Recently, Van had realized that if he kept his tongue outside of his mouth while he walked, he could quickly gauge the almost psychic way his tongue responded to his feelings before he even knew he was feeling them. That was how, largely by accident, Van had ended up wandering around the Student Council election booths.

That was equally how Van literally walked into Gabby's booth, tongue out, alarmed it had just changed from its happy purple to a biohazard warning red. "WHAT," Van got out, which turned into a yelp, as he collided with the booth and then lay there blinking like a stunned animal.

Which, basically, he was.

He whimpered quietly. "IT's really cold, and I don't like being cold, and could it not be as cold any more? HEY, can you like turn the heat up, it's really chilly, I mean like I'm going to die" Van said in a constant stream, having pulled himself onto his knees and started to clutch at the edge of the booth, leaning his chin on the top of it.

Suddenly realizing the booth itself was cold, Van yelped and leapt off and started to shake himself like cold was contagious. "THAT'S SO CRUEL why would you do that, it's freezing I'm just going to die now I just can't, that's it for me, I'm dead," Van stopped shaking, dropped to the ground, and curled up in front of Gabby's booth to "hibernate."

Nevermind that dogs do not hibernate.

After playing the game with a quiet ghoul, Gabby was pleased (more pleased than he should have been, truly) to see Olivia at his booth. He sat down to play with her, all the while giving her a sweet, toothly smile. She had even taken his pin - and she couldn't wait to see what Andrew would say about that.

"I had loads of fun. Despite Andrew. I know you're fond of him, but I believe we're just too different. And he has a penchant for - " His eyes flickered to the side, to the booth right beside him, before returning pleasantly to Olivia. "Dramatics."

He handed her the minipet, and gave her another sweet smile. "I appreciate you coming here, though. I can tell you and I get along quite well."



Barth's comments only added to what he was saying to Olivia. "We do not. I appreciate your confidence for my victory, however. I hope you are right."

And he realized, quite suddenly, if Andrew's revenge based tactic had somehow managed to ruin his chances of becoming treasurer, he would be legitimately crestfallen. He hoped that Barth's predictions were right, but it would do to step it up a notch. Just in case.



The ghoul who'd kissed his cheek at the carnival had taken a shine to his diamonds, and he tried not to immediately shun her for her audacity since he'd just convinced himself he had to actually try to make people vote for him. So he handed her a pin, the one covered in diamonds. "Thank you. Please enjoy."

Was that right?



Trisha's comments were straight forward, but gave Gabby the boost he needed to remind himself that he was an excellent candidate for the job. She gave him a bow, and he admired it quietly, before fastening it to his lapel.

"A lovely gift. Please, take one of my buttons. I wish you the best of luck in your campaign as well, Trisha. My name is Gabriel, and I appreciate your compliments."



A ghoul who had visited his booth at the carnival came to play his game, but before she did, some very promising comments were spoken. Gabby felt like he was on a roll - so many people seemed to have come to inform him that he was a good choice, inflating his ego to a dangerous degree. "I will do my best, should I win." He promised her. Then he played the game with her, sliding the cup back over the diamond when she admired it. Instead, she handed her an especially fluffy looking pet, to make up for it. "Enjoy. And thank you."



Sorrow wanted to touch his diamond. Gabby looked horrified. He took the diamond in his hand, carefully considered it for a moment, and then opened his hand just enough for Sorrow to get a very light touch.

But that was it.



Another winner to his game took their prize - and his thanks - away with him, and things were finally starting to look up.

And then Van appeared.

"No I - I don't think - this is the booth for you, young man. Please, do not loiter - hey. Hey. This is not NAP. Please move before you start to melt my booth."

Things were already looking a bit glisteny.



Gabby carefully handed over another prize after a young lady played the game silently, but when AJ's tail began to break that silence with his loud voice, Gabby quickly grabbed the diamond and held it behind his back.

"No. No shinies here, please - take a button, and ah, off you go. Maybe take this young man with you." He pleaded, pointing at Van.
