Orpheus was a stalker. It was what he was good at, it was what he knew and it was what he did to Zia quite frequently. He wasn't trying to be a creeper. He was legitimately concerned about his racially confused friend. He still found it hard to accept things with the reality that fell down upon him but time had helped ease him into a little comfort. What didn't bring him comfort was the behaviour that he knew Zia couldn't resist. If there was one thing Orpheus knew, if there was trouble nearby then Zia was too. She couldn't help herself, and there was no way he was going to leave her out there in the wilds.

He didn't like it in the open. He didn't enjoy being around this many terrorists. Most of all, he didn't want to associate with them as one of them. He had to look around, walk by them, get past them, to find her though. It wasn't extremely difficult to do so when she light up like a beacon in the night sky. Why the ******** would she remain in that form? He couldn't understand why she wanted to die so badly?! He groaned, his hand hitting his forehead in exasperation as he found his feet moving toward the power signature.

Part of him hoped it wasn't her. Part of him wished that this unusual, and strong power signature was simply some other idiot. Unfortunately, as he made his way through the crowds of terrorists, he found himself meeting the fate he wished to avoid. Lilac curls, unsettling cat ears and cat tail peeking out of the back he used to caress and the head he used to kiss. He recognized her, and he felt the dread as he marched toward her.

This was stupid. She was stupid. He wondered how she survived without him. They might not be a couple anymore but he couldn't help but feel like it was his duty to protect the crazy b***h from all the crazy people in this city. It was a big duty, and he didn't believe anyone else could do it other than him. He didn't care if she had a boyfriend. He was clearly incapable of doing as good as a job as him.

Her voice drew to his ears like nails on a chalkboard, and he found such irony in what she said that he couldn't help but laugh as he propped up an arm over Zirconia's shoulder quite suddenly. He expected to get hit but then again she's the one who'd knocked him unconscious with a bottle. He was used to the abuse, and whether or not he'd admit it he definitely liked it.

"You're the idiot! What are you doing here? Are you trying to get yourself killed?" He yelled. He sounded upset, and overly protective.

Carneli

Thetis didn't mean to get himself involved. He was just trying to make his way home when people powered beacons in the sky began to go off in his head like Morse code. There weren't many at first, and he paid little mind to it as he tried to make his way through the area but soon there were more people than he could ignore and by the time he realized what was going on, he wasn't sure where to go! There were people yelling around things he didn't understand, his ears picking up the voices without the appropriate context.

Why were there so many people gathered here? The small cat felt like he was going to be trampled upon any second as he scurried around back and forth between the feet around him. He was a small cat. Most people probably didn't even realize he was there. He made small sounds periodically that might draw their attention to him but his dark fur concealed him from a simple glance, and by the time someone had a moment to really look he had scrambled by to another part of feet.

"Excuse me... Pardon me... So sorry. Please, may I pass through here? Um... please... could you... ah! Ah! Oh my Mau!" The small cat cried as he got caught between several people. Someone had almost stepped on him, and the guardian cat had wailed out a dreadful sound. There were so many sets of feet around his head that he wasn't sure which feet belonged to who.

It was awful. It was like he was in a forest of people, and he couldn't escape

Be there on time

That was the only warning he had gotten. Being on time was important in general but was even more important to Ellie than anyone else he knew. He had no qualms being the one that lagged slightly behind and being fashionably late. Thankfully, the little push from that single text message was all he needed to get going on time. If she specified being on time then it meant he had to be on time or you are in a world of hurt. It was just his luck that he had caught up to his companions before actually reaching the final destination. Nothing like proving a point by running into the team. It meant he was taking it seriously or at least it looked as if he was taking it seriously for once. But he was on time even if nothing really ever happened before he got there most of the time. It was pretty uneventful. Normally. When they reached the picnic area, it was obvious that this was not normal circumstances.

“'Sooooo' is right…” Pure chaos was the best way to describe the scene. “I guess it didn' matter how on time we were.” It would have been a moment of self-righteous patting himself on the back for being somewhat right, but he figured it would be better to save that for another date. Another date when they weren’t facing an unknown and possible crisis. There were way too many people here for a simple bodyguard outing and it was obvious that Iris had not been expecting a large, uncontrolled battle. It was almost inconceivable how out of hand it had gotten before they had even arrived.

********* was right though. They might have gotten here early but it was clear that the circumstances had changed. Following Ellie’s lead, Waylon tried to be as discreet as possible when powering up. Slipping back, he called out "Parthenope Asteroid Power, Make-up!" His grubby day clothes shifted into the far classier semblance of a Sailor fuku (meant for defective girls or boys).

At least as Sailor Parthenope, he would be of much more use. He glanced to his teammates, silently asking the obvious question for the evening.

Now what? With all the energies that were bouncing around, it was going to be impossible to find whoever Iris was here to help.

When Lydia had been prepped for this situation, it seemed fairly routine. Or at least as routine as assisting with the purging of chaos from a person's soul could ever get. Everyone had their assignments, and she had been looking forward to getting to help with a purification that would go as it was meant to. Ever since what had happened with Mister Alois, she'd been feeling somewhat melancholy.

When she and her teammates arrived, it seemed like everything go well. Until several other people arrived on the scene, many of whom were less than friendly. It was all terribly confusing, and it made what happened with Mister Alois look like an intimate gathering in comparison. What was going on? How did all of these people find out about their plans for the night?

There was no way to know for sure, and not much to do about the situation. With a sigh, she set her purse down on the ground before calling out her own phrase.

"Irene Asteroid Power, Make-Up!"

As soon as she transformed, Irene could feel her phone buzzing with a message. Summoning it and tapping a few buttons showed that it was a text from Athene, warning about the Negaverse interfering with a purification attempt. Which was nice, but also had some disturbing implications, which she voiced to her teammates as she held her phone out to them so they could read the text for themselves. "How could so many people have found out about this? Who could have told them?"

How could they finish the job they had set out to do, with so much standing between them and their goal?

~*~

It was a night just like any other night, and that meant another night of searching. Another fruitless night of searching. It would have been infuriating if Nazca hadn't become sort of accustomed to coming up empty-handed every time.

No, he thought, that was a lie. It was still infuriating, and every time he went out and came back with nothing just made things even worse.

Just before ten o'clock, he changed directions abruptly, heading for one specific signpost that he tried to stop by at the same time every night. The fastest way to get there was to cut through the park, which he did without giving it a second thought. He'd done it before, and nobody had ever messed with him. So what could go wrong?

His first warning that things might be amiss was something like a powerful vibration in his skull, which made him put his hand to his head until he was able to deal with it. He'd gotten weird feelings before, but never anything that strong.

The next warning came in the form of shouts, from a short distance ahead of him. Someone- or several someones, by the sound of it- had something to say. At the top of their lungs, no less.

But it wasn't until Nazca stumbled through a patch of trees that he came face to face with what had to be some kind of superhero convention. It was the largest gathering of costumed so-and-so's he'd ever witnessed. Since he was wearing a crazy costume too, he was probably supposed to do something. But he was too busy staring and trying to process the nightmare that was enacting itself in front of him.

Watching the scene actually made him pay less attention to his surroundings, and he was a perfect target. Not that he knew that. As far as heroing went, Nazca was still stuck in the introductory course, and unfamiliar with such advanced topics as watching his back.

[Nazca is too busy gawking to attack anyone. Irene is hanging out with Iris and co. Both are neutral for the time being. Please quote me if you engage one of them!]

As it always seemed to do, events escalated quickly. Youma came pouring out of the portals opened by the General. A flying lyre may have sent Buddingtonite back with a splash, but the damage was already done. Now, in addition to the three factions already present, unpredicatable beasts were roaming. Pasiphae swallowed back a knot in her throat and began to scan the battlefield for any who needed help.

Mica turned her spear towards Camelot, and although he could probably take the hit, the Shame Senshi still called a shield around him, "*Pasiphae Social Pariah!" The maroon energy settling into place would last one strong strike, maybe two if they were lucky.

*
--Social Pariah - Defensive
A more powerful version of Shameful Isolation, Social Pariah allows the energy shield to exist for a longer period of time, anywhere from 30 seconds to 45 seconds depending on the amount and intensity of attacks absorbed. The energy shield can now activate around one ally; if Sailor Pasiphae chooses to do this, she cannot shield herself. Whoever Sailor Pasiphae shields will find their mobility restricted and unable to attack as long as the shield lasts.

In addition to shielding Sailor Pasiphae or one companion, whenever the weapon/her attacker comes into physical contact with her shield, it induces a deep sensation of shame which can actively affect the enemy for as long as the shield lasts.

NOTE: How each opponent experiences this shame differs based on their personality. For example, a proud warrior might feel shame at attacking a purely defensive opponent, whereas a chivalrous guy might feel shame for attacking a girl.

--Drawbacks -
Only works on 1 person
Only works for a limited amount of time
Reduces mobility, making it impossible to attack as long as the shield lasts
Can be broken by a powerful enough attack/multiple lesser attacks

[OOC Note: Pasiphae is open to any attacks and wll provide support if someone needs.]

Oh, Serpentine knew the lily-haired Senshi that sailed towards him by now. He brought with him respect, not the same type given to those like Mica or Painite, but respect nevertheless. As much respect as he could ever give a Senshi, at any rate. Thraen was not one to be underestimated. It was this logic that lead him to leap to the side, but guessing speed had never been Serpentine's strong point. The booted foot of his adversary crashed into his left knee and sent the proud whip-wielder down with a hiss. He rolled off of the walk way and onto the grass; in an effort to keep out of the Senshi's grasp, he continued to roll, hoping to get a chance to regain his feet.

Taking the hit did not prevent him from barking a quick order to the girl who had sought his guidance. He did not know her, did not know her fighting ability, or did not even know her name. But none of that mattered she was a lieutenant that responded to the call and now asked him for direction. "Lieutenant, continue to the playground. I'll join you."

Because, as ever, he could not imagine a situation in which he would lose. Besides, her eyes would be better served finding new targets than trying to avoid the much more skilled fighter with which he would be grappling.

It might not have looked like it, but for once Horatio was paying attention to what others were saying instead of listening to the sound of her own voice. Well... she was listening fairly closely until someone new came on scene. A pretty Eternal Chibi (Hugbell) was looking around not too far away, and Horatio desperately wanted to cry out to her and add yet another friend to her aresnal, but the emergence of youma put a dampner on that course of action. There was a big fight going on towards the middle of the park, but they were going to have plenty of fun right here on the playground. The little Eternal was already heading towards the youma - what a pro!

She stretched out along the length of her branch and glanced at Pisces with an amused snort, "No way! They don't call me Speed Demon for nothing. I've got the need for speed and then some, though I certainly wouldn't object to a hug or some cuddles later or maybe a nice can of fish? BUT THAT'S FOR LATER. If you need to stay still, just attack from the trees with a boomboom pow and I'll use it to get in there and WHAMMO."

The Mauvian was not exactly known for strategy. Or for making the best decisions as a Guardian. She purred towards Massalia and Aludra, mischief clear even behind her strawberry-tinted goggles, "Of course we engage. Look, she's already going on ahead of us over ther. You guys ready to hit the walking pinata? I know I am! Grab your sticks or other beating weapons of choice because here we go!"

With that, she waited, eyes wide, for the right moment to pounce. She couldn't wait to see how fantastically all her winners did!

Falias had been coming to the park in the evenings quite often as late, sometimes he went powered, sometimes not. Tonight had happened to be one of those evenings when he had decided to go powered, although the Earth Squire hadn't been doing much.

He had been sitting on a bench pretty much doing nothing when he picked up on the first chaos aura, frowning as he realised it was a strong one - as in Nega-General strong. The first had been swiftly followed by a second - again General strength - and then more auras.

What's going on?

Having missed a certain video that had found its way - however briefly - onto YouTube, Falias had no actual idea what was going on. However by the strength of some of the chaotic auras - at least three Generals by his guess along with a few Captains - he didn't need to be a genius to know that something big was up, especially when Order auras started to flare up as well.

As a brief internal debate Falias decided to move closer and at least try to find out what was going on, but hadn't got very far when he came across a Page (Nazca) who appeared to be watching the goings on. "You should be careful" he said as he approached the other from behind. "The Negaverse generally tends to like to attack first and for no reason." At least that had been his general experience.

Do you happen to know what's going on further up there?" he continued, adding "Well apart from the obvious" and by obvious he was referring to the fact that it looked like some sort of fight was breaking out.

((Falias is currently neutral but is totally open for interactions))

Athene's greeting had been more of an exclamation of surprise rather than a true greeting, but he acknowledged the older man's greeting and wave with a slight smile as he closed the distance between them. It seemed that quite a bit had changed from when he had seen the Knight last - outfit change notwithstanding - Camelot's aura whilst strong had never felt so huge . Now really wasn't the time for catch up though - not with the Negaverse out in strength and somewhere further in the park both Pasiphae and whoever it was who was trying to purify.

About to ask Camelot if he'd had more details, Athene was distracted by Maia's arrival. "Evening Maia," he said to his fellow eternal with another of his slight smiles. "And thanks for forwarding the message on." The smile faded, his quiet voice serious as he continued "I was messaged about it myself by a senshi called Pasiphae - I think she might be involved with whoever's purifying."

Another familiar voice spoke up suddenly, coming from a nearby tree and glancing upwards Athene recognised the cat up there as Horatio. He recognised the green-haired chibi (Aludra) up there with Horatio too from the night, a while back that had taken place at the Zoo and was glad to see that she seemed okay.

"When it works my senshi magic can trap things" he said at Horatio's question, before adding "And my eternal magic creates a shield, but it's tiring on me." He looked back at Camelot as the Knight spoke and nodded at the older man's comments before looking back at first Horatio and then over to Maia. "I'm going to go up ahead too" he said quietly. "That's where most of the Nega-officers seem to be" and mayhaps also where Pasiphae was. His attention turned to the cat still on his shoulder as he asked "Liryn would you mind helping Horatio and the others here?"

Liryn's response was in the affirmative as the small bobtail slipped off his shoulder and he nodded at the small cat's response that he be careful before following in the direction that Camelot had taken. It didn't take long to spot the group up ahead by the fountain and Athene made his way towards them.

The scene made him pause as he spotted the white-haired corrupt senshi in between the Generals and Pasiphae and the corrupted eternal (Vespa) with her.

Isn't that...? He blinked, then stared again at the white-haired corrupted senshi, recognising the taller senshi from the night the Negaverse had decided to attack the Dark Mirror court. What is she doing?! Because if he didn't know better he'd say that she was standing in between the Nega-Generals and the Pasiphae and the corrupted eternal (Vespa).

His attention was drawn to the red-haired General, who with a start Athene realised he recognised from the night of the black out, started spouting on about minions arising before being cut off by a thrown lyre, the instrument hitting the General with enough force to actually knock him into the fountain causing the portal that the General seemed to be in the process of opening to shut.

Athene hid a sigh of relief, not sure that he wanted to know what the General had been planning with the portal and then realised that he had been premature as he saw the youma bounding towards them - well more specifically him as he was right in its path.

((Athene is helping Vespa and is totally open for interactions too))

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Athene had explained in more detail what was going on as he made his way over to the park, so Liryn knew that a purification was supposed to be happening and that something seemed to have gone wrong, It hadn't taken long for the two of them to reach the park, partly because Athene had run there and partly down to the fact that the two of them hadn't been that far away from the park in the first place but even-so there were quite a few Nega auras around by the time that they reached the park and strong ones too.

There had been a super strong aura there too, stronger than the General strength auras that Liryn had been picking up, although it wasn't one that the little bobtail was familiar with. He didn't think it was a chaos aura since it lacked the darkness that he associated with them, instead it was more like a furnace - one of those big armoury ones - a intense blaze of warmth that was similar to the way that that Princess' (Iris) aura had blazed when she had helped him save Athene back in the warehouse on the night of the citywide black out.

The source of the aura had turned out to be a Knight, albeit different to the Knights that Liryn had come across in the past and based on their interactions with each other both the Knight and Athene seemed to know each other. Whilst Athene and the Knight, Camelot, were talking a red-haired eternal senshi arrived who Athene greeted as Maia and whilst the senshi wasn't familiar the cat with her was.

"Sheena" Liryn called. "It's good to see you again." And then another voice called and on looking up Liryn realised that it's owner was another that he knew. "You too Horatio."

Athene was telling Horatio about his senshi magic, and Liryn had been about to mention that he had the kitty beam too and claws but then Athene had mentioned going up ahead as the Knight had prior and asked him if he would stay with Horatio and the others there.

"Okay I will" he said, adding "Be careful Athene" as he watched the dark-haired eternal follow in the direction that the Knight had taken before turning his attention back to Horatio and those still at the playground. "Okay do we have a plan?" He asked. "I have a kitty beam if needs be and..." His voice tailed off as he saw the youma crashing its way in their direction. "A youma? Where did that come from?" The comment was more directed to himself than those around him however as he watched the thing approach, perfectly willing to scratch the thing if needed be although it seemed that a lilac-haired chibi eternal was already on the case (Hugbell).

It seemed that Horatio had a strategy of sorts - well okay it seemed to translate as 'lets cause trouble for the Negaverse' or at least that's how Liryn translated it. He was quite happy to go along and lend a paw to this idea however, at least for now, if it meant as a side result he was also helping out the pair that Athene had come to help.

((Liryn is helping Vespa too and is also totally open for interactions))

Massalia wasn't exactly a planner himself, but his hand shot to hold Aludra's firmly, to comfort and reassure her he was there.

There was a youma charging their way and the boy didn't flinch. Not this time - youma were something he'd dusted before, and surely between three senshi and two cats they could do something! So, the boy murmured.

"Keep our eyes open for anything we can hit them with, Aludra." He smiled warmly. "Pisces and I - she has high heels and I found a garbage soccer ball and we escaped a general trying to kill us. Youma are easy and so is trouble." He grinned mischievously. Pisces was a little less confident with a youma, but nodded, smiling to the hooded chibi affectionately, s a sister may.

"That's right!" She beamed. "We can do it! Just think creatively! I know you can doi it - it's fun!"

No sense giving up, it was just ging to be hard, and to show it was alright, Pisces jumped from the tree, skirts billowing a bit as she landed and moved to look for an opening. Massalia watched, reading his surrounding. Things to kick, branches to throw - anything helped, and he began to climb higher.

"Blah blah blah." Kairatos called to Zirconia, though his attention perked at the outraged commentary from Orpheus, who he immediately cataloged as Elvis.

He didn't know him off hand, but clearly she did. Then again, she knew a lot of people.

Man things were heating up though. Youma on the scene, Painite burning her energy to pop up and terrify lower levels... man he kind of missed the early days when she'd helped him go jump a bunch of idiot kids in the junk yard so they could scrounge for parts, but she'd not only drunk the Murder Koolaide, he got the impression she was doing the backstroke in a pool of it.

Iris even... between her and Camelot he was starting to really wonder who the traitor was.

"You're just jealous because I am having WAY more fun than you!" He called to Zirconia, snapping a tentative punch at Kerberos

Camelot was glad to see Athene heading toward the large, central gathering. It looked like things here were going to get heated far too quickly. With youma popping up and joining the party, they needed all hands on deck to make sure this encounter in the park did not branch out further, and drag innocent civilians into this. He did not, of course, realize that there already were neutral parties getting pulled into the fight.

Out of the corner of his eyes, though, he saw a familiar knight being accosted by a dangerous antagonist that Camelot knew would not be taking the gentle road in this battle. Painite did not know 'middle ground' and Hvergelmir, and those gathered around her, could be in for a hell of a fight. His instincts tore at him to go over to them, to help them, but he had also forced his focus on the main battle here, knowing he would be needed. It was that trust issue again. Trusting in those he cared about to be strong enough to defend themselves. Worrying endlessly that they wouldn't.

But they all had to grow up some time, even him.

His attention was once again drawn by the Negaverse General leaping at him. He lifted his mighty shield to defend against Mica's spear, but he found her attack halted by another force, a barrier he did not cast with his own magic, but was supplied by a senshi. He turned to see Pasiphae using her magic to defend him. He was glad to see her, but he did not want her to use up her energy on him, when he could defend himself in a similar fashion.

"Pasiphae! Thank you! I'm alright, I can handle this one. Focus on our others, make sure they're well defended!" It was imperative that they work as a team, rather than the splintered forces they could sometimes be.

The addition of the Dark Mirror caused Azurite to stare for a moment before simply shrugging it off. She knew why he was there. When Vespa adressed her, Azurite just smiled sadly. "I already am Vespa... I've done things I regret in the past. This? This won't be one of them, even if it means loosing you to the other side.." She was seeing this through to the end. Even if it resulted in hers.

"I've made mistakes before Buddy. You know I have. What's one more." The smile dropped however, and her eyes narrowed when Mica spoke up. "Yeah yeah.. I remember you. What? Are you going to run me through with your little spear like that kid if I don't listen? That little trick won't work twice General. I'm not going to fall for it, you'll have to do better then that."

When Buddingtonite summoned the portal, she had to suppress a small snort. Yelling like that was totally him... Even if it was a bit too much. "Look.. I don't care what you guys do. But I am not your enemy this time." She said, glancing from Tantalus, to Camelot, to Athene. "Do what you want, but Red's mine."

Sailor Ate was late to the party, actually she was always late to the party but this one, this one was a little more special than the other shindigs she attended. This one actually cut a little deep.

Because the host was one she had crossed paths with, one she had spent time with.

One that she would hurt a lot more because of it.

Turning up she saw the destruction caused by both sides and smiled. It was so nice to see everyone getting along! She clapped her hands gleefully like a kid in a candy store and walked forward, making sure to miss the flying punches and random blasts of magic that erupted all around her. Everyone was twisting around her like dancers, each person working on the other's weaknesses and strengths. This truly was a party to remember.

But she wanted her own dancing partner this evening and only one would possibly do.

Mica had seen Camelot raise his shield, but her spear had been stopped much sooner than she would have liked, thanks to Pasiphae and her magic. She had thought that slamming the spear against the shield would have spared her from its effects, as she recalled the effects to be bothersome, and the overwhelming sense of shame she felt welling within her angered her. She was doing the right thing! Vespa was the one in the wrong- why should she have felt any shame in what she was doing?! Though it wasn't in her nature to ramble, she found herself assaulting the enemy before her with words when her spear could not penetrate the shield.

"He is a traitor, to us as well as to yourselves! Are you all so desperate and naive to think he's not just jumping to your side to hide, like he's doing now? He is a coward. He's weak, and you see just how easily he turns on us... what makes you think he won't do the same for you in the future?"

Quicksilver the Archangel

Lithiasaur

[[Mica is open for attacks on any angle]]

It hurt to hear those words come from Mica's mouth, but not because any of it were lies and slander. She was right. He was a coward and he was weak, but he felt his heart swell with anger when she accused him of betraying the White Moon Court, and that, if anything, caused him to lash out.

"That's not true! I was brought into the Negaverse with a lie! Everything you think you know about the Negaverse is nothing more than a lie! You're the victim here, just as much as I am... Metallia's using you and when she's done... then what? What will she do to you, or me... or ANY of us?" Vespa wasn't sure where the courage to speak had come from- maybe seeing genuine, human emotions come from the person he thought to be a stone gargoyle did it, or maybe he was inspired by those around him, but he didn't regret his words. "I'm not expecting others to trust me... I wasn't even expecting so many to come to help me tonight, but I know I'm doing the right thing. I won't be Metallia's monster anymore! I'm going to do what I should have done and save myself, before anyone else gets hurt trying to save me!"

Buddingtonite had opened a portal and though it was short lived, it was enough to let loose three youma. One of which was moving straight for Athene and Maia, two Senshi he had never met before this night. He didn't think twice. He moved to intercept the youma. They had come to help him, and he would do the same. He didn't want anyone getting hurt, not over him!

This was not going how he wanted it to. What Buddingtonite was hoping for out of this evening was to simply halt the little traitor in his tracks, long enough to have Mica come over and end his miserable little life. And yet, nothing had gone his way.

Azurite not only stood against him, which likely meant all of his efforts would be spent trying to either talk her down or drag her off the battlefield, because she was just being a completely, unruly little mess and she was going to get him in trouble. Again.

Then there was Buyan, who had so rudely interrupted his fun and grand moment of the fight by throwing her lyre at his face. Now, he was soaked, humiliated, and that fed into his growing anger... he glared at the Neptune page as she fled, most likely using herself as bait to lure him away, and the sad part was that it was working just fine. Because right now, he wanted to ring that slender little neck of hers.

"Oh, you... you little tart. I thought we were friends! What kind of friend does that?!" He pulled himself to his feet, fighting against the knee deep water and the added weight to his form as he waded towards the edge. He probably looked the part of an enraged feline that had just been dumped in the tub by its owner... he certainly FELT that way. He felt Tantalus gaze upon him, remembering his face but too angry to quite place it, as he snapped to the Dark Mirror Senshi. "Get lost, I have no qualms with you and your kind tonight. And you-" He pointed directly to Azurite when she chided him, and there was not a single hint of playfulness in his voice as he snarled, anger and possibly even betrayal fueling his response. "Go home, and stay out of this, or so help me I will report you for treason myself! "

He didn't want to, but between that and Mica doing it, Azurite would get much more leniency if he did it... Mica would just straight up kill her and dare anyone to call her a liar. He tried not to think about that- whatever the hell was wrong with Azurite would have to wait until after he made Buyan suffer.

Eternal Sailor Tsui had received multiple text messages, and the Tiger senshi was never the one to ignore a call for help when it came. She didn't want to abandon Maddy and Jacob, but she managed to grab the car keys and hide them- there was something about a double moon event that her sister wanted to take them to go see at the park, and given the showdown that was now likely to occur, Tsui had taken it upon herself to ensure that her sister and baby brother didn't get involved. With a half-assed excuse written poorly on a note, she rushed towards the park, expecting there to be some activity going on but genuinely surprised by just how much was going on.

There was a purification attempt, and apparently, that was sort of a big deal. Not that Tsui was the kind of scoff at such a notion. She went to the meetings, she knew it to be a possibility and she favored the idea of it, even if it seemed a little farfetched. She may not have banked on it as much as others have, but would she ever deny someone the chance to switch sides? Nope!

So when she arrived at the park, she spotted a familiar figure, one that hit her conscious like a brick. Ate was making her way towards the center, where the bulk of the fighting was going on, and Tsui was quick to try and intercept her. She came to a skidding stop in front of her and didn't appear combative, though with Tsui, a fight was likely inevitable. "Hey... so, you the one purifying tonight, Ate?"

She had only done one fight alongside her, back when she was still learning the ropes. It was a silly thing, to be so upset over the thought of her giving in to the Negaverse considering they only had one fight together, but Tsui couldn't ignore the pain it caused to see her like this. "Because if so, that's be great! We really miss you, you know..."

"Well, if this isn't the stupidest thing I've seen in my life..."

Sarras, Squire of the Cosmos and still resenting everything there was to resent about his attire and lot in life, had managed to snag the aftermath of a video being removed but had not actually seen the video itself. Most of this was word of mouth, and Daran Moreau at the time, didn't really care, except he noted that his brother was missing from the store, and though he was worried and naturally suspicious of his brother's whereabouts, he took this as an opportunity to venture out. No point in trying to get this damned shop up and running if his brother wasn't even going to bother to stick around.

So, powered up and only taking a few minutes to complain about his attire, Sarras made it to the park, with time to spare. Thus far he had only been watching, but he managed to catch the jist of it. Apparently someone on the Negaverse side was trying to purify, and, as expected, there were members of the Negaverse that were trying to stop him. Not that he blamed either side. Helping others cross over and restoring balance was supposedly his goal as a knight, but he couldn't blame the Negaverse for wanting to prevent any asset from moving over to the other side. Too big of a security risk... assuming this wasn't all a ploy to lure the White Moon and knights out.

That was why Sarras remained out of the way for awhile, simply because he figured this was all an elaborate scheme from the Negaverse. However, he knew they he would have to act eventually, and the sight of Buddingtonite, the general responsible for Victoria's death, being thrown into the fountain seemed like the best time to act. That was why he moved in- if he could kill that monster now, then his mother's death would be avenged, and Richard would finally have the peace of mind that he needed to recover.

What stopped him, however, was the soft 'excuse me... pardon me' he heard, followed by a wail, and he looked towards the sound. There, he spotted a small cat, and he let out an aggravated sigh, shouting to the civilians that came dangerously close to stepping on the poor creature. "Watch your feet! There's a cat walking here!"

And if that wasn't enough, he moved towards the cat, nudging his way to him and kneeling, so that he was easier to see. He wasn't fooled- the star on his forehead and the fact that he could speak meant that he was like Horatio, a Guardian cat. "Hey, you need a lift or something? It's not safe for you down here."

Maybe once he got the cat into a safer position he'd move towards his target once more. With the splashing he heard, he wasn't going anywhere...

Appeal
I hope you don't mind? He has a weakspot for kitties though he'll never openly admit it.

((Sarras is open for attack on either side, he is caught in the middle))

The park was part of her normal patrol ground, and she had hoped that tonight would be just like any other. Super Sailor Canopus had no idea what she was getting herself into when she passed through the Mirror and entered the park, though the moment she planted her feet on the ground, she could feel her senses explode with Order and Chaos energy of various strengths and degrees. Only thing did she receive a message from Mintaka.

It was not too late to turn back now, she told herself, but with so many gathered in the park, what was Canopus to do? Now, she was curious, and the thought of her friend being in some kind of danger worried her, so she did the completely foolish thing and ignored the text message's warning. She ventured through the woods and into the park, poking her head out from behind a tree and observing everything from a safe distance.

She had no idea what was going on. She was too far away to make out what anyone in the fountain was saying, but apparently, there was a powerful Knight and several members of Order standing in front of a Corrupted, looking as though to protect him from his own kind... was one of them trying to escape the clutches of the Negaverse? 'Good... good for him!'

She saw Tantalus and another member of her court (Amytis) standing among the White Moon, as well as another Corrupted with long white hair (Azurite), but any thought of joining their side was crushed when she caught a familiar sight. Was that Mintaka?

It was! But there was an officer next to her, and, fearing for her friend's life, Canopus made her way towards the senshi she had come to call her friend, knowing that she was putting herself in danger but unable to lead a friend to be harmed by any member of the Negaverse, running at full speed towards the grassy area.

To say it was easy to get lost in all this was an understatement, from a dark mirror approaching Camelot and being seemingly on good terms with him, to Mica declaring she was kill Camelot to fights breaking all around them, she felt a little lost.

Athene mentioned that he was heading toward the fountain and Maia gave a nod, "I'm coming too," she said quickly before looking toward the dark mirror (Navi) as Mica engaged Camelot and got caught in Pasiphae's attack. She still didn't really care for dark mirror's but she trusted Camelot with her life so she motioned for the girl to follow, before running off after Athene.

She didn't think Camelot would need help, but she would certainly double back and tear into Mica if need be, but she didn't want the dark mirror possible getting hurt, certainly not if she was here to help.

She skidded to a halt seeing a youma in front of her, and looked to Athene, "I can use my magic to slow it down, it should be easy to take ..." she started before she saw the corrupt (Vespa) that was with Pasiphae headed for them. He'd been shouting about lies and Metallia which made it obvious if it hadn't been before he was the one switching side.

"It's okay," she said quickly, "we'll be fine. Stay with Pasiphae. Do what you came here to do."

Sheena looked to Liryn when he greeted her and greeted him in kind, " good to see you again too, to bad its in such a crazy situation."

She looked around at all that was going on and saw Athene and Maia running off toward a youma, but decided to leave them too it. Liryn headed off towards Horatio, three chibis and a another senshi.

She looked to the crazy powerful knight now engaged in a confrontation with a general in front of her and moved back to avoid tripping him on being stepped on. She turned looking around before heading off towards the trees.

[[Alignment: Neutral]]

One moment, Hvergelmir had been hanging back, observing the proceedings from what she'd assumed was a safe distance. The next she had a soft, fluffy white cat on her shoulder (who'd been at the BlackWatch meeting, as she recalled) and a familiar companion in Mimisbrunnr.

"Oh," she said, belatedly noticing her ice cream, "I..."

There was nothing for it, though, and Mimisbrunnr's question was more interesting. "No -- I hadn't heard anything. I showed up and it was -- this." She gestured ahead to the battle, if it could be called that. She recognized more of the faces now. On both sides. Her heart sank. "What's going on?"

Hvergelmir didn't have time to turn to see Anabel addressing them, however -- they were simultaneously interrupted by the sudden, teleporting arrival of a Negaverse General directly in front of them, wielding a spear like she meant business and leveling threats.

Hvergelmir put her hands up immediately in a surrender gesture. The last of her custard toppled from its cone and landed on the ground with a sad plop.

"I can't fight you. I'm a sworn noncombatant," she began -- but too late. The General was already swiping at them with her spear. Hvergelmir fell back, away from its reach -- accidentally slipping on ice cream and then toppling into Anabel with the sudden movement.

None of this was conducive to defending her own life, or to Snowball or Anabel (or probably Mimisbrunnr) defending theirs. Fortunately, the four of them apparently didn't stand alone. A nearby voice -- a familiar one -- sent an arrow flying at their deadly opponent.

Ida.

Hvergelmir looked over with an automatic grateful smile. She scrambled to get back to her feet.

[[Location/Movement: Still in the Trees area. No movement: she fell on her a** and probably knocked Anabel over also. The ice cream cone has officially died.]]

Oookay. Maybe this hadn't been the best idea. If she'd stayed in the picnic area, at least she wouldn't be facing some whackjob with a spear. Anabel, having already resigned herself to die at the hands of, you know, someone just like this whackjob with a spear, mostly just sighed.

Except then Hvergelmir bowled into her, and Anabel went down hard on her back. If Mendel hadn't been at the vet, he would've been pitching a righteous fit right then. Luckily, or unluckily, he wasn't there. Anabel rolled onto her side and curled up tight for a moment. Okay, she thought. We are going to breathe. We're going to breathe right now. Right... now. Anabel inhaled convulsively, once, twice, and again. She pushed herself to her knees, then, and wished bitterly that she had henshined up.

"Ow," she said, weakly, heaving another breath."Ow." Okay. Now we're going to get to our feet. We're really going to.

Despite thinking this with a fair amount of conviction, Anabel stayed put on her hands and knees, trying valiantly to not throw up everything ever.

Rainbow Senshi

PostPosted: Fri Aug 29, 2014 5:04 pm

IRIS + ********* the three fully suited, the eternal senshi of rainbows glanced about again, this time fully aware of all of the auras swirling about them.

"...so what th'f*ck is goin' on...?" was her initial question before the purple suited senshi thrust a phone in her line of vision.

The message was clear.

Somehow the Negaverse got intel on this whole operation she had planned. "...how th'f*ck..." With a hard look to Parthenope, then to Irene, she considered the options.

Her own teammates she trusted to not blab about this. She didn't even like others knowing Ellie Spectre was Sailor Iris, and even more often, that Sailor Iris was a princess. ********* could be a chatterbox, but she wasn't a blabbermouth either.

"...I think Vespa f*cked up..." was the accusatory growl that escaped the captain.

The manx sighed a bit. "...considering how he knew the Negaverse was dangerous and playing with the lives of his family... you'd think he would have used more caution..."

Iris probably had more to say on the subject, but then her own phone seemed to go off. Reaching behind her and grabbing the phone from seemingly nowhere she glanced at the message.

"...oh... Victoria's here too..." It looked as if she was about to type out a message in response, but then something else caught her attention.

"...looks like we got company..."

It was miniscule in comparison to the other energies slinging about, but a small aura of darkness began to creep about them, approaching them in the form of a single youma. Within an instant the phone was banished away.
