Etsali wondered if any of the other Tunnel Snakes were around as everyone went for supplies. But before she could get a good look through the crowd, the rebels appeared. For a moment, she stood frozen, eyes wide as she took in the shine of their yachts and armor, and then Keeper tugged her back into movement and they were running. She tripped over a beach chair along the way as they desperately tried to get out of attacking range and the sand scalded her hands and knees for one long moment before she could get up and move again. Keeper seemed to want to go fight back, but they were so far away...[1,4] rolled! Deals 1 damage, takes 2 damage, and can roll again!

Dictys is on INTELMommydaddy HP: 30 - 1 = 29 Master Recruiting: x x x Unfortunately, Mommydaddy wasn't able to dive about in the crowd for long before they met more rebels, and it was back to Dictys' shoulder they went. That was fine, though. Dictys would help them watch for opportunities, and then they'd strike. These docks had been Dictys' playground of sorts, before. Mommydaddy takes 1 damage (they can fly)

Atiqua is on Assault
Huffing at how the sea dweller was 'working' Atiqua figured it would be up to her and those lower on the spectrum to pick of the more demanding bits. That being, the physical stuff. Hoisting her weapon over her shoulder, she looked around for the nest part of their mission. Progress was being made after all, but it wasn't a heck of a lot.
Then the real battle started. Rebels from the waves and- hissing as the light caught her eyes, she like the others was forced back. Switching from close combat to ranged mode, the teal blood teen took aim.

Vulpin is on the ASSAULTHP: 38 - 2 = 36 Con: X Demo: X Intel: X Rec: X Sly ran for cover under the umbrellas during the rebel attacks. The attacks barraged down on the two, and Sly sustained some injury from shrapnel. "You dumb dog!" Vulpin yelled at him, batting at his ears. He could have gotten both of them killed! He took some daggers out from under his poncho and tossed a few at the rebels. Curses, he really did have to work on his throwing arm.Vulpin did 3 damage. Sly took 2 damage.

Alifax is on ASSAULTHP: 18 Grandmaster Intelligence: x x x x Apprentice Construction: x Apprentice Demolition: x Alifax really had no idea what was going on, but the moment the group reached the docks he darted back into the front line. Or at least onto a yacht. Well, same difference...right? [6,6] ROLLED! Alifax takes 0 damage and deals (6 (roll) + 1 (military weapon) ) / 2 (not ranged) + 1 (dodge) = 4 damage!

Atiqua is on Assault
Hissing at the light Atiqua attempted to use her flag to buffer but it was of little use. Still, she was able to see enough to locate on of the rebels, sending the blade spinning their way. The sound of impact was music to her sound holes, and grabbing the blade on it's return, she clicked it back into place. She'd get rid of them yet.
Things were not that easy however, and she wasn't going to last long at the front of the battle. She'd need to back off and take some refuge if she wanted to survive the battle. Or at least the night. After all, she wasn't the type to go running to her death. To battle? Sure, no problem. Death was a little more intense. And Longer lasting.
For all her wit and power, she wasn't one to risk her hide for this whole debacle. Not unless she knew she'd come out the winner. As things were however that was at risk. And in being a risk? She'd slide to the back, and pick a better, more opportune moment to join they fray once more.

Sinter is on INTELLocation Rolled: Restaurant Blu (Rebel-Controlled) Lophie's HP: 39 - 2 = 38 Journeytroll Intelligence: xx Master Recruiting: xxx [ Sinter was no stranger to running on sand. Being shot at however, was another story entirely. Lophie emerged fro the sand beneath Sinter to carry him away from the worst of the danger, but even in her element she wasn't nearly as fast as the boats out there. ]
Sinter does 0 damage and takes 2 damage himself.

Ephias is on AssaultWolly HP: 38 - 2 = 36 Grandmaster Construction: x x x x Novice Recruiting: x Somehow Wolly and Ephias had ended up at the front of the march. It was a bad place to be. They found themselves trapped on the beach when the rebels launched their attack. Despite Ephias' protest, Wolly pinned his charge to the ground, as they were besieged by fire. The troll clutched a clump of the sheep's wool protectively. Wolly was getting hurt because of him. Without thinking, Ephias pulled the spyglass he had made during the construction process out of his pocket and hurled it at the enemy. That would teach them to hurt Wo--WAIT WHY WOULD HE DO THAT?! Ephias (Wolly) dealt 1 damage!

Vulpin is on the ASSAULTHP: 36 Con: X Demo: X Intel: XRec: X Using daggers was pointless. Vulpin sat for a moment and watched the yachts pass, devising a strategy. On Sly's back, he rushed to the beach and moved quickly from side to side, making himself a target for the yachts. He hoped he could turn their attention enough to accidentally attack each other.Vulpin used his intel bonus and dealt 3 damage.

Abrila is on ASSAULTHP: 16 Apprentice Construction: x Master Demolition: x x x As the troops moved on, Abrila followed, dragging her feet a little. She was feeling worn down from her outburst and really wanted a nap, but that wasn't possible at the moment.
Especially when they'd just stumbled into an ambush.
Mayhem ensued and Abrila ran, her shovel next to useless against ranged weaponry. The flash of metal on the water indicated that the attack was coming from the water. Abrila searched for a place to hide, but all she could find were rows of umbrellas and chairs and debris.
An uncomfortably close explosion made her hit the ground, the searing heat licking at her horns. The sand was no better, and she felt it burn on her hands and face.
Another, but smaller, explosive whooshed by. Abrila reacted instinctively and used her shovel blade like a shield. A stupid move, really, but the object hit it and didn't detonate. She wasn't going to take any chances, though, so she flung it away as far as she could like Troll Babe Ruth.
Oh gog, she needed to hide. Maybe if she hid behind an umbrella, she wouldn't be a target. Yeah. Abrila takes 2 damage, deals 1
