O: I don't know what a "nade chain" is. o.O And I don't think I'd be the best person to ask for help about charms/weapons, really. I'm just an artist, not a writer. > >;; I know what it looks like. I did not draw it though/could not draw it. That is why I am asking an artist to take the pics and make a ref pic. Why I am willing to send bout 20bil for the ref pic~ If you don't think you can do it it is ok~ would you like to know the info? I have ref pics of what it roughly looks like in pieces Oh, well if you already have an idea for it, that's a whole 'nother story. Hmm... I guess I can't say I won't/can't unless I see the info, really.

I guess I can't say I won't/can't unless I see the info, really. ok, so the chain is made from these disks that are made from animal shell that is metal. ten of the disks, this design with metal segments in between so they can move like a whip. The charms are solid and she carves charms and seals color and glass over it. The round smooth charm fits right into the disk. At the end of the chain, there is a handle that she can pull to remove all 10 pins at the same time To pull on it, you need to do it in a special way; because it is a handle so she can whip it around her head and use her thumb to release the latch so when she yanks on it it pulls them all at once. ( a split second difference between them all) the handle is like brace knuckles in shape; but leaves room for her fingers to move and slide when needed. The chain is six feet long. The disks are bigger than in the pic; bout a DVD size or so she can use many different nades, so I want it to be that she can use any of these and the disk is able to hold the weight.
The entire chain is made with that shell/metal. Springs wires and more. the back has the screws so she can open in case she needs to replace the wires.
To store it she snaps it together like a sash or wrap it around like a loose belt. So the handle hooks to the other end.
The charms are about the size of a half dollar. (she has about 50 different ones)
Does that make sense?

...You should have just said it was a "grenade" chain in the first place. That would have cleared up all the initial "What?" confusion. lol. > >

Well I'll know that for the future now. As for your weapon design... I'm a little confused about a few detail-specific bits... but... The weapon is say... like (emphasis on this "like," I'm making a very general and specifically visual comparison with this one) a segmented blade / blade whip / sword whip (like Ivy's weapon) in the way the metal pieces are attached...? And able to be worn as perhaps a wide belt given the sizes you're giving me (so switch the sword handle for a knuckle... maybe one with an open end so it can latch to the other, or would it maybe magnet or tongue-and-groove perhaps in/to the other end which might have a similar handle)... ...with grenades on it..? Something like that?

Something like that? yes yes yes and yes pretty much what I am looking at, though of course the disks are larger around than those blades. Same idea. Yes :nods: She had to do a lot of training to get her wrist to toss all the nades where she wanted lol She can wrap the chain around others and release all 10 on that one poor soul too xD

Oh, that's neat. o.O Okay, in that case, a general sketch of such a weapon probably shouldn't be that hard, really. So far as detail-specifics, though... I'm not quite following you on the charms. What are they exactly? I'm thinking like snap buttons, but I don't see how they'd hold the second grenade at all in that first picture. ...or is it supposed to be that the picture is front & side view, and not two different kinds of grenades on one section of said chain..? > >? If she can make it wrap around an individual, magnetism would maybe make more sense in the general workings of the weapon... *ponders* yes she loves that weapon so much It comes in use through her stories and battles~ Awesome heart the charms are just like a ring/pin; but filled in and they are metal/silver. She made a mold out of a grenade ring; and carved out a base she uses to make them. It is hollow; she adds a metal charm and fills it with colored glass then files it down so it is smooth. Front side view; the "ring" slides into the slot and it clicks into place. Magnets could definitely be a part of the mechanism.
XDif you like this weapon maybe I can get you to do her materia rifle. Her scythe becomes a cannon like rifle. Like a transformer. biggrin

I don't generally like guns, and my main issues with a lot of technical detail is in straight edges. Which guns have a lot of. So I don't have much practice with them either. This weapon, by being a "chain" automatically has curves to it, so I find it would probably be easier to draw in general. > >;

She hand makes all her nades. So she had to add some flare to them so ya, a solid circle that removes the pin; instead of a ring. :nod nod: understandable. Ya the nade chain is something she has been harassing me for a while now. And I have been writing with her and she was like DOOO ITT and I was like ._. I will seeeee

Correct? yes indeed biggrin She hand makes pretty much everything or takes parts and adds her own pieces etc Yes please biggrin show a nade or two with it to show how it works and whatnot but pretty much just needing a visual reference to see what it looks like so I can start collecting bad a** pics of her using her nade chain XD

Can't rush when the shop isn't moved yet anyway. P: Heh... The initial interest was in the fact that when I tried to look up an image to see if anyone had tried to make such a weapon (disregarding the fact that you had quite probably tried to before, for references), I didn't find anything. And yet I can almost swear I've seen one. Somewhere. In a movie or a game or something. Something post-apocalyptic. I mean, I saw an IMAGE of this. But I couldn't find one online. With several searches. ...that means my muse quite possibly made up the image. And why fight the muse? Right? P:
