Gypsy didn't open her eyes until she felt the chain appear around her neck, thankfully not made of silver. When she did, she observed everything through that cold aspect. She showed no reaction to seeing the scythe in front of her, no reaction when the wraith appeared in front of her. After a moment, she gave him a simple nod and took the scythe in her hand, tilting her head as it shrank down to a size she could handle better. She considered it for a moment then looked up at the wraith again, "I'll get you there. But you, and this," she said, lifting the scythe briefly, "will have to stay out of sight for a day, maybe two. I have to set up Morrigan, give some reason for disappearing for a while, then I can get you where you're supposed to be," she told him simply, still in that new cold voice of hers. She knew who was in front of her right now, of course, but found herself still strangely numb. She had no idea how she'd locked her emotions down, just that her ShadowFlame or DarkFlame or whatever it was, was now the key to all of that and she couldn't change it. She looked at him for a long moment with her eyes nearly black, "You aren't the man I knew anymore. You're gone. That's the way it is. I'll do what she wants me to and get you to the boy. But I'm done after that. I can't do it anymore. After I finish with you, that's it, I return to being nothing more than the mercenary I was before you," she told him simply then started walking towards the exit to the area, letting the scythe go but knowing that she could call it back at any time and tucked the emerald into a pouch at her waist. After all, she was still in the middle of the Re Base, a den of every baddy that thought he was all that. She didn't need anyone attempting anything stupid. Like trying to mug her. She didn't need a death that would draw attention. So the emerald got tucked away and the scythe went into the shadows for now. Whatever the wraith was going to do to hide was up to him. She knew both items would go to him once she got him to the boy. Then she'd walk away, as she said she'd do. While she'd known Shade hadn't been completely devoid of emotions, had in fact learned to use them for his own ends, her training with him before the big fight had been in enhancing her emotions. So she couldn't fully understand how she'd been able to shut them down so completely. All she really knew right now was that she had to get this done. Then she could be... Could be what? Free? She'd never been that, so it didn't fit... But she would be free of that tiny pesky nagging she could feel in her chest as she walked away from the wraith that she knew would follow her. That much she knew for sure. The man she knew as her grandfather was gone. This wraith was just the piece the goddess had kept and wanted to put into the boy she was supposed to track down. As her father had once told her, "Accept it and move on. It's just the way life is." Quite possibly the only good thing she'd ever gotten out of the b*****d.

Once again everything was black, once again he floated in perpetual darkness. This time it was different, he no longer felt the eternal cold he had grown accustom to. Why was this so? Why could he not feel his limbs? These thoughts filled his mind. Was it his mind? Or was it something else? What was he missing? What was it he could not remember? As if in answer to his mental shouting. There came a bright flash of light erupt into life, maybe a mile or so ahead of him in the darkness. From that light came a tremendous force of heated energy. He felt the heat, and felt as if there should be pain. He was no stranger to explosions, however implosions were something he had no knowledge of. He found himself being pulled towards the epicenter of the explosion. Watching in horror at the growing ringed Mushroomcloud. For the first time since his mortal heart stopped beating, he felt fear. The scene disappeared as fast as it had come. Leaving him once again in the darkness. Shade now knew what he had forgotten. He had forgotten that he had died during a great battle, and he was not the only one to fall. He feared that he had single handily caused the complete extinction of his clan. " NO!" It had not been him, it was that Gin. How long had he waited to sink his scythe into that monster's chest. How long had it wished to watch the light leave that man's eyes, that disgustingly evil gleam. HOW LONG! A voice came to him from the black. A voice of warmth, a voice of nurturing , though there was the slightly hint of sorrow in that voice. Whether that be because of what it said, or because of the deaths of so many of her children. What the voice said echoed in whatever qualified as a mind now, " You were never meant to RULE... I know now it was a mistake to place my faith in you." These words brought the first pain he had felt since dying. A feeling like something cold, hard and sharp were thrust into his chest. Though before he could question, before he could even find the energy to muster speech. There was a bright blinding light, and the voice was commanding him to leave through the opening that now presented itself. He did as commanded, and as he advanced through the oculus. He felt every ounce of emotion drain from his being. There was something else taking over as he forced his way into the mortal realm, Something he had not felt in millenniums. Twas as if a great beast awoke to find a mountain had grown over him. Slowly it's eyes opened for the first time, as it's head and shoulders were now through the gate. With it's awakening came a flood of energy, the return of power. Feeling his strength return he launched himself out of the Abyss, and into the realm of mortal men. The Wraith hovered in the air watching the woman, with an unwavering gaze. He knew whom this girl was, but cared not for her. His mind like state wondered if that was normal, but the only memories he could muster of his behavior was that of his cold, calculating, stoic features. This thought process bored him, so he returned his attention to his surround, only to return it to the girl. Did she just command me? As he mentally questioned this. His eyes were to fall on the faint glow of green from the collar of her armor. That was also when he decided to check in on the fact that she was also wielding his scythe. So then she had said something about him, and the scythe having to hide for now. He thought to turn away from her, but found himself unable. HIs crimson glare fell on her once again, and the goddess last words echoed clear in his mind. As he gazed down at the Woman he knew to be the granddaughter of a past life, a terrible sound was to reverberate off the walls of the cavern. The sound was as deep as the drums of war, grating against the soul like the crumbling of mountains. Was it amused by something? Then with an action commonly seen in horror films. The specter rushed down at her with it's demonic laugh, slamming straight into her face. The Wraith exploded like black smoke around her form, enveloping her in shadows. Then slowly it took the form of a black hooded cloak. At first it resembled the shadowy cloak her Grandfather and his men wore. Though now it slowly solidified until it resembled a thick water resistant black woolen cloak.

Gypsy stopped with a look of annoyance at the interruption of her exit from this place by the wraith's antics, staying where she was until it was finished with whatever it was doing. When it was finished, she finally understood those cloaks much better and gave a shrug of one shoulder before continuing to leave the swimming area. As for the destruction left behind, she knew someone else would find it and simply see to fixing it. It seemed to be the way things worked around here. At least no one had seen what had happened here. Fine with her. Her connection to her grandfather was supposed to be a secret from everyone but the Reapers anyway. Now it would be an even bigger secret. The only ones who knew it now were her and the wraith, who would likely forget all about it when it was sucked into the body of the soulless boy. Good enough for her. It would make moving on just that much easier and so much less messy. So she moved on towards Morrigan's rooms...

Esabel reappeared in the swimming area she'd created, but somehow wedged between some large rocks off to the side and hidden from view. She really hated giving bad news and she'd been giving alot of it lately. She might be evil at her core, but it was more on the fun side of things.
She liked having fun and having the people around her being happy. It was one of the reasons that Ren was able to put up with her for so long and why Gih had taken such a liking to her that he practically did adopt her as the daughter of his true and black heart. Telling Lily that they were dead, along with everyone else at the battlefield, had nearly broken her dark heart. So telling Meno about what had happened to Dancer had her staying right where she was right now, afraid he'd blame her for Dancer's kidnapping.
It was ridiculous, of course. But it was how Esabel tended to think at times.

Allistair Allistair led Hal and Dev to the swimming area. He took the basket from Hal and retrieved the blanket. He laid it out and then sat down. He set the food out and gestured for the two of them to join him on the blanket. "This is such a lovely spot for a picnic, isn't it?" he asked.

Hal gave a soft chuckle as he sat down on the blanket and took his boots off before laying back on the blanket with his head right next to Allistair's hip, "I find that I'm particularly partial to it," he said softly, remembering their last outing. Though he was hoping that this one would end much better than the last one. Dev took off his boots as well but his mismatched eyes were drawn to the water, "I haven't had a good romp in the water in nearly forever..." he said, his voice clearly colored with longing to do just what he'd spoken of. As a tiger shifter, Dev held a particular affinity for water and playing in it. But in one of his feline forms. In his human form, he preferred water for simply soaking and getting clean. Hal gave another soft chuckle and nudged the tiger with one foot, "After we eat, cat. No sense in letting the food go to waste," he teased a bit as one of his hands found a handful of grapes and reached up to offer one to Allistair. Dev gave a grumpy sound but gave in anyway, shifting around to lay on his stomach by Allistair's other hip with a plate of various rolled meats in front of him. He took a bite of one and rubbed his cheek against Allistair's thigh as he chewed, giving a deep purr just from that simple contact.

Allistair Allistair reached down to mess with Hal's hair and then laughed when he heard Dev. "I'm sure we could fix that after we eat," he said. "I enjoy good romps in the water as well." He scratched Dev's head when he felt him rubbing his cheek against his thigh. He took one of the rolled meats and began to eat, looking out over the water.

Hal and Dev both simply enjoyed the moment, and the food, for a bit before Hal turned over onto his hands and knees to give Allistair a kiss to his cheek that wasn't quite as innocent as it seemed, "I missed you..." he said in a soft whisper before adding another light kiss to Allistair's shoulder. Dev found himself feeling a bit left out but didn't move to interfere, knowing that his human friend didn't get much attention when Allistair was away. Dev got plenty of attention, but only in his tiger forms. He rolled to one side and sat up, giving the other two his usual teasing grin, "Why don't you two snuggle for a bit... I can let one of my cat's go play in the water and give you a chance to catch up," he offered before getting to his feet to slide out of his shorts and harness so he could shift form. Hal frowned a bit, originally intending for them both to tackle Allistair and give him a nice welcome home. But he'd forgotten what Dev reacted best to and had been missing while Allistair had been away... that left Allistair to consider that the tempermental tiger might be in need of a spanking...

Allistair Allistair smiled and pulled Hal onto his lap. "I missed you, too," he said. He looked over at Dev as he worked on getting the harness off. With a wicked smirk, Allistair used the shadows to create a whip and sent it in Dev's dirsction, hitting Dev across the back, just as he had done when they first met. And then he waited for Dev to react."

Dameon Black I think one more post from you and I can do a timeskip on this bit. Hal went willingly into Allistair's lap and continued his teasing kisses as his master took care of Dev's attitude problem, his hands toying with the buttons on Allistair's shirt, silently asking if he could take it off. The human had no idea that Dev was feeling a tad bit jealous, he simply thought Dev would enjoy the plan as much as he was intending to... Dev reacted to the slash of the whip with a pained hiss, his back arching away from the hit by instinct as he dropped to his knees. He turned heated eyes back to Allistair, easily noting what Hal was wanting. He felt both of his eyes begin to shift over to crimson and fought it down as he started to crawl over to them. Once his eyes were back to being mismatched, he let out a sound that was a mixture of purr and growl. "Was that a tease or a promise?" the cat asked, still feeling the sting of the whip across the skin of his back. Probably not the best question to ask but it seemed to fit the situation. Still, his body was reacting to the pain in two ways. The first was to be expected, after all, he really liked pain. The second showed that he'd been without it the entire time Allistair had been gone: as he crawled closer he was shaking a bit with pent up emotions and bottled up need. Clearly he needed attention as much as Hal did, just with a slightly different focus...

Allistair Allistair gave Hal permission to remove his shirt and then gave him a brief kiss on the lips. He returned his attention to Dev. "I suppose the only way for you to find out would be to get as close to us as possible," he said. "It would be a bit of letdown if it was a tease. But if it was serious, getting close would mean that I would be able to use a few wonderful objects on you. A few of your favorites."

Hal went ahead and unbuttoned Allistair's shirt then slid it off and let his lips move over the man's chest, letting his master deal with Dev as needed. Dev took the invitation and finished crawling over to them and leaned in to give a sharp n** to Allistair's shoulder with another of those purring growls, clearly wanting that to be a promise instead of a tease... Over the next hour, they all enjoyed themselves while Esabel stayed in hiding, not wanting to let anyone she was there at all. In the end, Dev ran down to the water to clean up, shifting to his blue tiger form on the way, and played in the water while Hal cuddled with Allistair on the blanket. The human had to laugh as he watched the tiger play in the water, only vaguely worried about Dev's attitude issues but unable to find anything to really point out as a problem. But after a short while in the water, the reason for the problem took shape all too clearly as Dev suddenly shifted to his HellCat form. The demonic tiger was still new to Dev and he hadn't had much chance to let it out and figure out it's quirks. After the shift, the huge flame-colored cat approached the two on the blanket, giving off a deep low growl. It was stalking behavior and not a good sign. While Allistair had knocked the cat down once, it hadn't really been tamed yet and was the source of Dev's jealousy issues. It stalked closer and closer, giving off silent snarls as it focused crimson eyes on Hal...

Jake Jake arrived at the location, that the shadows led him too. It was almost as if he could feel his Target within the shadows. His crimson eyes peered from the realms of shadows, down onto the couple by the water's edge. A short distance off was a rather large tiger, stalking towards the couple. Jake walked through the realm of shadows, His eyes forever scanning the scenery for his target. He found this to be very familiar, as if he was born to it. His control of the shadows, was almost effortless. He could hear them whispering to him, as he strolled among them in silence. Soon he came to a stop, having now laid eyes on the construct. She was beautiful in a way. Jake glanced back over to the others, contemplating whether he should attack them to draw her out, or just go straight for her. While the tiger attacks the couple. He moved his eyes back to the woman in hiding. He gave her a complete up, and down, critical read. After a moments calculation of her skills, he made up his mind. Jake shadow stepped out of a shadow along the caverns roof. He fell out directly above the tiger. Jake aimed himself to land on the beast, His fist coming down in the last couple seconds, aimed for the base of the tiger skull. Jake's fall was silent, though if anyone cared to look up. He was without a shadow cloak. What would been seen is a man of considerable height, very broad, with short dark brown hair, with reddish tints. He wore no shirt, baring a chest rippled with perfectly sculpted muscles, gained from years surviving alone in the waste. His skin was, as white as a moonstone. Jake would not open his eyes until after he landed, using the shadows to see the entire scene. Jake wore a pair of blue jeans, and his black combat boots. When jake landed, whether it was with a hit or not, he was not stopping. He rolled to the side, springing to his feet. IF the tiger was still up, he would move in with lightening precision, to deliver a knee to his throat. If the tiger was down after the first, or the second. Jake would shadow step behind the couple, swinging hard as he could at their temples. He cared not if they were out cold. Because as soon as he had struck, he vanished again. This time behind the now fully aware Esabel. Jake made sure that he used the momentum from his jump into the shadows, to propel him the four feet from his exit, with a knee aimed full strength at the construct's back, right between her shoulder blades. If she were to turn around, she would meet the eyes of pure abyssal crimson.

Dev went down with a growling sound, rendered unconscious by the perfectly placed strike. But Hal was human... Even with the bond to Allistair that allowed him to live longer and heal faster, he was still human... the hit to his temple damaged something in his head... Esabel heard it and stepped out of her hiding spot to see what was wrong. She felt the knee hit her in the back and went down with a pained sound then rolled, taking Jake with her as her hands summoned daggers by instinct. She slashed up at her attacker without seeing him just yet, simply trying to defend herself. But he'd gotten the upper hand by surprising her and had the chance he was hoping for... But it wouldn't last long...

Jake wasted no time. He moved in close as she rolled, Swing his fist hard at her throat, while her blade cut him across the length of his collar bone. Jake didn't even flinch, as his hand opened to grip at her throat. If he was able to land the grab, he would begin to slam her head into the ground, hard. If jake didn't, he would shove his knee into her crotch. His free hand moving to grip one of her wrist. If he grabbed eihter her throat, or her wrist. He would fling her against a rock, followed by a boot to the gut, and a flurry of palms, and fist.
