So far, all he'd seen, and watched, was a bunch of kids try and fail to move what looked like gear from one car to a mound of dirt.
Kids always got the shitty jobs.

Kursha snickered when the yellowblood jumped. It was just the sort of reaction he had hoped for. He was however surprised that the yellowblood was not a bit more cowed. It seemed his target had a bit of backbone. Kursha found that admirable... and a little annoying.
“Maps, huh?” He repeated, stalking towards the yellowblood. “So, you're a spy then.” It was not an accusation. Just simple fact. His grin widened.
“I'm the bogeybeast and I'm here to seriously ******** up your day.” Kursha gave a derisive snort of laughter. “Come on. What kind of question is that? I'm not supposed to be anything. I'm just a curious passer-by, who thought you might be fun to mess with. So far so good. Just don't disappoint me all right?” The distance between them was closing rapidly. Kursha was close enough now to see the daggers strapped to the yellowblood's waist. Behind the s**t-eating grin plastered across his face, he was not worried. He had the advantage of blood colour to dissuade any premature attacks. The Colonel's intimidating presence overhead only added another point in his favour.
“But anyway, I'm the one asking questions,” Kursha continued cheerily. He stepped beside the yellowblood and snaked an arm around his shoulders, “So 007, tell me about what kind of intel you've gathered!”

Stryke Nvrmor
Stryke gave the other a small huff when he snickered at him, but didn't make any further gestures to rebuke his actions. While he'd been startled, he kept his shoulders square and didn't shrink away. Although, the invasion of space was a bit much. The yellowblood had the urge to squirm away from him and it reflected in shifting uncomfortably on his heels. This was like a game of chicken, one he'd been too stubborn to walk away from.
As long as he didn't try and hurt him, he could remain in his personal space. His brow furrowed, giving him a look. "Bogeybeast? He snorted at him, covering his mouth and smile not expecting the remark. You know..look the type so I'm not surprised never mind." He rolled his eyes at the other troll, barely containing his own laughter as he shook his head. "You asked me what I was doing..so I did the same. Don't be coy!" His lusus crawled from the bushes, a large Skink-like creature. It didn't move closer to the pair, merely keeping an eye on his troll son, the lizards tongue flicked making a quiet hissing sound.
The yellowblood didn't pay his Lusus mind, however; the large Lusus over head who's wings flapped did earn a moment of his gaze flickering skyward. "Very well. To answer your question, I was obvserving a Construction site and was off lbase locating. I wanted to confirming the exact positioning of uh..something." he answered leaving out any specifics of what. It was impossible to say if the other was truly friend or foe. Stryke needed to do some further snooping of course.
"If I'm 007, does that make you the cheery Inquisition?" He gave the greenblood a strange look, staring at him for their close proximity, bidding his time as they seemed to be testing the other.

There was a hissing sound and Kursha's eyes momentarily darted to the side. A massive reptile had crawled out from its hiding place in the bushes; no doubt it was this kid's lusus. Though it was large, Kursha remained unconcerned. It looked fairly harmless with its short stubby legs and whatnot. He doubted it even had teeth. He turned his gaze back to the yellowblood and smiled lazily.
“The position of ‘something’? Sounds pretty suspicious. Almost like you're hiding something,” Kursha purred, enjoying the game. It was clear the yellowblood was uncomfortable. Still, he had yet to back down. Kursha would have to lean on him a bit harder, both figuratively and literally.
He decided to ignore the yellowblood's comment about his being the inquisition. Acknowledging the remark would mean relinquishing control. That and it was inane. “Do you want to hear a theory I have, agent?” Kursha asked. It was a rhetorical question. He continued. “I think you're being dishonest with me. The empire does not repay dishonesty very well, you know...” His arm slipped from the troll's shoulder and moved down to his waist, where he fingered the hilt of a dagger. Slowly he slid the dagger out of its sheath. He stopped halfway, contemplative. Suddenly...
“You're a rebel, right?” he whispered directly into the other troll's ear. Their faces were so close they were almost touching. With a laugh, Kursha gave the yellowblood a shove. The arrogant expression he had worn before returned. “Don't make that face. Just shut up and listen for a second,” he jeered.
“You're in the deepest part of Old Hemisect and eastward bound,” he began. “What's the biggest landmark east of here? The royalists' current construction site and more importantly their base of operations. Of course that by itself says nothing. You could simply be returning from the field to make a report. However I have to wonder at what kind of spy would have to sneak back into camp. Everyone knows where the military base is; it's not as though you have to keep it from the enemy. Therefore it's safe to assume you're not supposed to be there. Finally, there is the issue of your weapons. Unless you knew you were going into enemy territory and anticipated trouble, there was no reason to bring them. A kid openly carrying weapons is only going to attract attention.
“So!” His smile was so wide it seemed it no longer fit his face. “In conclusion, you're a rebel. How'd I do? Ten out of ten, right?” His voice pitched with excitement. Then there was a pause. He faltered briefly, studying the yellowblood's features. A moment later, he lit up again. “Oh, don't worry. I won't have you culled. We're on the same team! Anyway...” Some of the adrenaline was fading. So was the moonlight. By the looks of the sky they had less than two hours left.
“I'm heading back to camp. You should join me back at demolition tomorrow. Or you know, you can keep doing intelligence work. Just try not to die, Double ‘O’!” With a wave he turned his back on the yellowblood and started back down the way he came.
Stryke Nvrmor | Intelligence - Finish Up & Head Home
The small troll child actually had a wide eyed staring gaze as the other purred at him, seemingly toying with their little word game. It was like dancing, only he was creeping him out, scaring him even with every passing action. Flustered, the yellowblood's cheeks puffed up, huffing at the taller kid.
"Okay, maybe I am being dishonest. Just a little bit." he confessed. Still the greenblood was not done, he seemed like he was coming to a conclusion..and had a good handle on the situation already. This put Stryke at a disadvantage, much to his annoyance. While he enjoyed the little verbal game they were playing, he was unable to hide his shock and surprise as the other kept talking. Mention of the empire brought a shiver down his spine gulping uncomfortably.
Adrenaline had his blood rushing; the arm was off his shoulder around his waist and over the hilt of one of his daggers. The whisper, and correction assumption brought shock as he stood up to his full height, just shy of being at the others shoulder before stumbling nearly landing on his rear upon being shoved. "That's some impressive deduction skillsss detective. You're not wrong do go on." Stryke hissed a portion of the sentence, quirking a brow at the greenblood. Ryk should have backed off, but doing so now would prove him a coward; he was no yellow-bellied quitter.
All the while the grin the other wore could shatter mirrors he swore. So smug, and confident it made his nose wrinkle up at him and roll his eyes at his maniacal behavior. It should have sent him running, yet his wit earned the greenblood a bewildered blink, staring in wonder at him. Clapping, only the lightest of palms tapping against the other the yellowblood smirked. "10/10, confirmed agent id. You win the observation trophy." Ryk added sarcastically, laughing good natured despite the awkward situation.
Even if he'd wanted to lie further, it wouldn't have worked. How eerie it was to hear the other deduce such a detailed account making a more than well educated guess. He'd read him like an open book, plain and simple.
Relief washed over him when the other relived the nature of his alliances. Visibly relaxing he let out a small sigh, before scowling at the other giving him a bit of a shove back before he was on his way to head back. "I'll finish up here and head back to camp..." he paused, pressing sharp teeth to his bottom lip chewing at it thoughtfully at the others offer of demolition. "Sure!" He suddenly called out, giving the other a little wave. "I'll join you tomorrow. Hey, whats your name?" Stryke asked before the other was too far from ear shot.
Zeffer darted away behind cover, getting to safety just as the explosives went off and cleared another partially destroyed building. He laughed to himself, lifting his goggles up to peer over his cover at the job he'd helped to do.

Today's Activity— Intelligence
Odette perched on top of a nourishment stand canopy. She supposed the people around here were fairly accustomed to lowbloods acting as such, because no one paid her any heed. Good thing though, because the owner was particularly gossipy and the clientele were fairly willing to share information... until they noticed Odette. Aw, it was such a good plan, too! She thought.

Skae stared blankly at the troll in front of him. Oh he heard words coming from his food trap but none of it made sense. After what felt like a few sweeps the yellowblood seemed to catch on that his captured 'pupil' wasn't retaining a single thing he'd been speaking about. With a heavy sigh that seemed to be more growl than sigh, he tried again, going from a different angle.
Skae perked up once the troll started to speak again, this time using words he understood. Huzzah! No more complicated technical terms for him!

That was more like it.
With a ferocious display of power, Ganyma swung with all of his might at a wall, causing chunks to fly. Sweat dripped from his temple. He rolled his large shoulders and readied the enormous sledgehammer for another blow. He hardly had to inquire with the demolition experts before going off in his own direction. He knew what he needed.
"GRAHH!" he roared as the wall collapsed in its entirety. He snarled and bore down on the edifice until there was nothing left. Finally, he regained his posture. Ganyma used the front of his tank top to wipe his forehead and looked down on the wreckage. It was a bit of overkill, but now the salvageable chunks of plaster and stone would be easily carried back by the construction workers. Smiling, Ganyma carried on to the next structure.
Stryke hadn't gotten much out of the other troll yesterday when he'd asked him for a name. Along the lines of "figure it out for yourself Double O." before they had parted was all he got. However, the yellowblood had made a promise to meet up with the greenblood down by the construction site and assist in a project he didn't know much about.
That left him wandering around, until he settled in fussing with a bit of bomb making after carefully reading material pertaining to the activity. Prepping explosives for use at least passed the time. As h e didn't have a name to go off, asking around for a greenblood he'd referred to as Detective sounded like a recipe for being laughed out of site. For now, Ryk worked with his task, keeping an eye out for his would be companion

Hand held up, he stopped their advancement, not wanting to speak aloud when he'd already heard whispers just around the corner of a half-demolished wall. This time Aprife had taken up snooping outside the encampment, rather far already from their territory, and the intense adrenaline that came with knowing someone (or perhaps two someones or three) was around the corner had his bright eyes wide with anticipation. The sense was heightened by the fact that he wasn't alone this time and that fooling around could get them both caught and in serious trouble.
Glancing back at Zeffer momentarily, he motioned to continue, but with caution, to peer around their hiding spot and see just who was muttering about something or other some short distance away. It was two trolls, though he had been all but certain it would be at least that many, and they were obviously keeping tabs on their surroundings as they talked in hushed tones.
They didn't look familiar to him, there was a good chance they were loyalists, and he leaned in close to the blueblood, all but inches away from him and whispering. "Those guys look familiar to you? We might be able to get some information if we can get close enough to hear them."

Zeffer
Activity: Intelligence
Happy to take a break in his demolition work in order to cover his friend's back, Zeffer was not always the stealthiest fellow, but could at least provide some security. He stopped as Aprife gave the signal, tense and alert himself as he kept his hands close to his weapons. He knew that they weren't out to fight, but to gather useful information, and so it was with the utmost caution that he shifted forward again when Aprife instructed, and carefully took a glance around the corner.
"I don't think I recognize them as anyone from the camp. Let's get a little closer..." He said with a smirk, and waited for Aprife to lead the way.
After adjusting their location, it was easier to hear what the conversation was about; securing the area to prevent the rebellion from accessing the resources in one of the nearby buildings. They'd be out of luck this time, wouldn't they?

Kursha had found Stryke helping to build explosives back at the camp. Maybe surprising the yellowblood while he was handling on explosives was not the best choice of action but at least nothing came of it. “Come on!” He exclaimed. “Let's get out and do field work!” He would not take no for an answer.
An hour later they were back in Old Hemisect. Stealth was the least of their priorities this time. Loaded up with dynamite as they were, they were about to make... a lot of noise. The first target was an abandoned warehouse. It was packed with dry goods and lit up rather nicely.
Almost a week had passed since Rasali had joined the rebel cause. Rasali still couldn't quite believe she'd done such a thing. "Rebel cause," was a term reserved for bombastic action movies with car chases listed in their titles and posters of ragtag teams back-lit by explosions. Yet here little Rasali was: doing work for a cause that happened to involve rebelling against the basic tenants of society--the main one being "don't ******** with highbloods."
The struggle Rasali had dealt with in trying to recruit new members to the cause (the rebel cause), had forced Rasali to slow down. The frustration had worn away the glitz she associated with the rebellion. Rasali had taken a good, long look at what she was trying to tell prospective recruits, and why she was saying it. It was more difficult than she'd anticipated, to confront people once she realized the immensity of what she was asking them to do. The cautious solemnity Rasali began to exhibit in her rounds seemed to work better than any number of pretty words. ]
