ya she didnt die falling on a piano she was in the temple and fell on the platform she was standing on and the guy was sephiroth that killed her and i watched once my bother play and he had vincent cloud and aerith on his team and cloud went to kill her and then stopped when i played i had cid cloud and aerith and he didnt even make a hesitation to kill her it made me sad

Keero_Tashimi -Draken- I'm not sure about the "falling on the piano" thing.. but yeah, my bro told me before it happened.. I wasn't disappointed though.. that way I knew I shouldn't bother training her;; I didn't like her anyway. neutral Meh i don't think i was ever told...I just played the game...and well.....(I KNOW people are going to dislike me immencely for this one.) when i saw he r die ...i laughed (*cough* partied)......i didn't like her to begin with. (i was just mad that i wasted some materia on her...)...... *coughs* My turn to be the hated biggrin goodie goodie. Well she wasn't all THAT useful -.- I mean ya white mage... wooooh. But cmon. She wasn't that useful, I was sorely disapointed and all but.... meh, no big loss -.- knew she'd die the moment I ssaw her anyway -.- I have a knack for predicting tragedies n stuff

Hey guys why are yall callin her Aerith? It's not her name anywhere but Kingdom Hearts. Her name is Aeris.

Beware! Talk like that could stir up a helluva war.
But Aerith and Aeris have the same sound in Japanese. It was just translated with an 's' here in the US instead of the 'th' I believe.

I half know. I was playing it first with a walkthrough, so I looked ahead a bit and one sentence said "Now that Aeris is gone...". That caused me to think "Huh? Where's she going?". So when I saw her death, it was more of a "oh, now it makes sense..." than a "holy crap, no!!"
Yeah. Spoilers are bad.

I didn't know when I started playing, but I did see a friend play it when she died. I was SO upset.
Erm, I have also heard that there is a way to prevent it that doesn't include gameshark type cheats, but I don't know what it is.

well, i knew someone was going to die. FF games are hardly ever happy, someone's gotta die, it was predictable. aeris just happened to be the goody two shoes girl that everyone loved, therefor killing her off would make everyone super sad, adding the unhappyness that is FF. but i prepare myself for things like that in games... and i didnt really like aeris... so yeah.

Yeah, it's too bad she dies. After acquiring her Great Gospel I didn't even get to learn it, forgot which part it was where she takes off. scream At least she went with a smile. domokun

she dies in disc 1 and ahe does not fall on the piano sephiroth stabs her and she fall to the ground and cloud puts her in the water and when she dies you are nt even close to beating the game my bro is on the 3rd disc im on the 1st one im not playing it no more
