Vexis watched as his lightning sprayed up against the wall that Vexis belived was Gritz. Then the Quincy started to fire at him. He increased the density of his particle armor. Then utilizing his magnetic power, kited aroumd the energy bullets. The other Quincy joined her, unleashing a stream of bullets at his as well as the two of them hid behind a air conditioning unit. "You made your second mistake." Vexis sent a large bolt of lightning at the unit, making a small explosion. Vexis began to laugh, as he thought of how stupidly the Quincies had set themselves up. Just then, the Shinigami came and slashed at his abdomen. Vexis' eyes filled with rage as the slash knocked him back. His armor protected from any damage but the fact that the shinigami had caught him of guard made him furious. He grabbed his knife and and held it out to his side. As he did, purple spark danced around the blade. Small fragments of metal dust began to collect around his knife in a small cloud till a sizable amount of dust was collected. Then with one large spark the dust stuck to the knife, lengthening the blade to the size of a wakazashi. He pointed it at the shinigami and spoke."And you made the third." At the end of his sentence Vexis leaped at the shinigami and unleashed a flurry of slashes at him

Dora quickly drew a ginto canister and threw it to her side. "Wolke" she said, the canister exploded into a cloud of white vapor, slowing down the shrapnel to a less dangerous velocity. A pretty nasty piece of shrapnel embedded itself in her upper thigh, she hissed in pain but she knew that getting out of here was top priority.

She popped out from behind the Reishi wall Jessie had created and began backing towards the door. She could hear Jessie's rapid descent as she squeezed the trigger sending several more shots at Vexis. She aimed for the Fullbringer's center mass, but she was not too concerned with hitting the Shinigami. The two of them could fight it out for all she cared. The veteran Jagdarmee just wanted to evacuate.

She descended the stairs quickly, keeping her weapon out until she reached the bottom floor. She retracted the blade on her Seele Schneider and stashed it back in her sleeve. She felt her leg, the shrapnel hadn't hit any major blood vessels, but there was some bleeding. She would have to get it looked at later. In the meantime, Jessie was out there somewhere and she needed to find her.

With each wild slash, parts of the metal dust flew off of the sword and remained in the air. Although he was angry, Vexis still had a plan. He would use the seemingly random and erratic attacks to hind his true attack; using the metal dust to form a weapon to attack the Soul Reaper. This plan, however, was ruined when Vexis saw the quincy fire at him. Vexis turned the dust into a shield and moved out of the line of fire. The shield didn't hold out the well and one of the bullets hit his shoulder and burst into blue flames. In his distraction, the Shinigami took it on himself to attack him. Vexis was knocked back by the force of the attack, slamming into the edge of the building."I think it is time for me to get out of here." Vexis was no idiot and new when he was out matched. Knife in hand, Vexis used his magnetic abilities to force himself to a near by water tower, slashing it open causing water to spray out everywhere. The blue flame on his shoulder. He then sent an pulse of water through the water, electrocuting anything in range. With that, Vexis Fled the scene

Dora met up with Jessie and said "First we're going to the hospital and getting this shrapnel out of my leg. Then, we are going to sit down and talk, I'm sure you have many questions." She knew that trying to get her onto her side would not be easy, but she needed to try.

There could be no other reason except the stories filled with lies on how it prevents young growing boys from getting older. "The mall is a pretty fun place to be when you have money. So is it true that girls just use money for frilly dresses and shoes? I've heard that's all they like but I can't believe that they don't like comics. That's what they call them in America, but in Japan I think they call it something else. Magna? No wait, it's magma! Wrong agin... Um...Manga? Wait! Are comic books and Manga the same even? They seem so alike so I just assumed that they were, the only thing that was different for me was the language."

Then he began to feel self conscious about his age wondering if he was still to old to be doing this sort of thing, but then he remembered what it was like to be cared for by Bianca and he was fine.

Even if he grew up in Japan he was introduced to so many American comics that the thought of reading left to right sounded silly to his childish brain.

The gigaied arrancar arrived at the Karakura Mall after sensing a few strange spiritual pressures. They were similar to that of hollows, yet vastly different at the same time. With no information on this Vexis person's spiritual energy she could only hope one of the three was him. Upon arriving Esmeralda noticed two if the pressures were together, Arturo had said he wished to meet with Vexis and his allies perhaps she had been lucky enough to find him while he was with said allies. As she walked closer she noticed both were teenagers the female clearly older, could this Vexis person really be a child?

Stopping a few feet away, Esmeralda would clear her throat. "Excuse me do you two know a Mr. Vexis by chance? I have vital information for him, " ordinarily she wouldn't have added the second part as these two could have nothing to do with Vexis. However her gut told her adding that was needed, after all they could be hiding him.
