Personality: Deeply in love with her mate, Nendiya doesn't mind males and considers most of the good ones to be equals (or thereabouts). She's always loved pups, even the difficult ones, and enjoys teasing and using her size to gently, but humorously, put them back in their place when they try to get into trouble or step out of line. She doesn't worry over-much, and takes punches as they come. She is fairly laid-back and doesn't have much of a temper, preferring to take things as they come and with a sense of humor.
Bio: Nendiya hails from a tribe-pack: a wolf pack consisting of wolves bound to humans within a village setting in a hot, southern region of Telk. She met Istanzi when Istanzi's owner, a fur trapper, came to trade with Nendiya's tribe, bringing his prize pet with him. Nendiya had been aware she cared for females more than males, but she was smitten at her first sight of Istanzi. Although content with her own appearance and not thinking much of it, she had never imagined a wolf as beautiful as the rainbow-and-white female. Her cheeky nature allowed her to handle her infatuation fairly easily and make Istanzi welcome while her human was there. She spent the most time of all the wolves with her, learning what she could about Istanzi's life and helping her understand how wolves lived and were treated within a tribe-pack.
It was good that the trapper had decided to stay several days, because it was just long enough for Nen to admit she found Istanzi attractive, and to find out that Istanzi felt the same about her. The two had no intentions of parting from each other then, caught up in their whirlwind romance, and so Nendiya told the rest of her pack she was going to leave, in order to save Istanzi from the trapper. She managed to communicate this idea to her human-partner as well, with a little help from Istanzi, and a day later Nen crept to the campsite while the trapper was with the tribe and released Istanzi from the rope that kept her from wandering away. The two ran off into the woods, intending on not returning again for a great while.

Bio: Marlon was originally a member of the Jewels of the Meadow pack where he performed several tasks as a tribute to his primarily-white coat, but mostly was given one of the shifts pup sitting when there was a litter. When the pack was attacked and massacred, Marlon stayed and fought until his beloved mate was killed. Grieving and recognizing that the pack was lost, Marlon managed to escape, although considerably injured. Since then he has been wandering alone, not risking joining another pack until the memory of his old pack has faded and lost its painful edge. His mate's memory still saddens him a good deal of the time, but the months since her loss have at least dulled the emotional pain enough that he can continue without debilitating grief.

Personality: Shal barely thinks about the spiritual part of her pack, although she believes and attends to all the necessary rituals that come up. Still, she focuses more on the corporeal than the spiritual, and as a hunter has little reason to worry about spirit-talking except to ask the proper prayers for a hunt. The here and now is of great concern to her, and she tries to avoid thinking about the past since "what's done is done" and in her mind that's it. Still, sometimes she can't help but dwell on past events, and that past-time may consume her for several hours if she has the time and the unfortunate memories to go along with it.
She has a penchant for teasing others, only in good fun, but since the incident that encouraged her to leave her pack (even if only for a little while) she has almost entirely stopped any flirtatious teasing. Shal isn't a fan of drama, but if confronted won't hesitate to stand her ground, although she's more likely to fight with cold words than teeth and anger. Her determination is one of her strongest features, and the policy of "try once, try twice, may as well keep trying" applies to her in most circumstances. When coupled with her great amount of patience, that determination can be a dangerous thing for who or whatever it's focused on.
Bio: Shalise hails from the Clemens pack and grew up with several siblings, both from her litter and an older litter. Several months after leaving her adolescence, Shalise became part of a small group sent as an envoy to their child-pack, Aves. Shalise offered to go with the party after she turned down an offer from a potential mate in Clemens. She felt that, after the hard feelings now between her and the male, it would be better for her to run her own path for a while and get away from her home.

Personality: Spiritual. Skittish. She has a little bit of defiance, but it's buried deep under her submissive personality and is very hard to tease out unless a weak member of her pack-- oftentimes a pup-- needs protection. She has a tendency to defer to or avoid males, believing herself to be an unattractive specimen of wolf because of her omega status and the lack of interest males have shown in her up to this point. She seems shy and beaten, but that's only because she is quiet around large groups and wolves she isn't really close to-- which is basically all of the time, since in a pack it's hard to not be in groups and that's made it difficult for her to form attachments to anyone other than her parents and siblings.
Bio: Although several seasons older than Shalise, she obviously defers to the slightly more dominant personality of the gamma. During their trip from Clemens to Aves, Jaq opened up to Shalise a bit more the few times that the two of them stayed awake later than their traveling companions, and the two have formed the start of a friendship which will hopefully persist once they reach Aves.
Note: Her spirit animal is a pine marten. Jaq, as a rather spiritual wolf, also falls somewhere between Sohenol and Rhiavet as her closest spirit.

Bio: Only one of seven pups, Hazel has always been and will always be very close to her father.
